True to size - waist is fitted so no give but wore size 4 and fit perfectly.. received lots of compliments throughout event

Needed something conservative for a black tie synagogue wedding and this was perfect. The pockets made it even better! Easy dress to dance in and looks cute ☺️

Dress looks better when on. There is no stretch so make sure to size up if not sure. Perfect dress for an outdoor wedding.

I've rented gala gowns from RTR for a decade now and this might be my favorite yet. It's stunning - like wearing a work of art - the colors are vibrant and beautiful. I got tons of compliments and felt great all night. It's very comfortable and you can't go wrong with a gown with pockets. I'd buy this if I could. Really a perfect gown for a formal affair. It fits true to size - I ordered this and the size up and didn't even open the larger size once I tried the first.

Very pretty, very flattering. And who doesn't love pockets? With heels the dress sat at just the right length for me, even after transferring to flats it was a good length. I didn't wear a bra with it since it's a strapless dress with a sheer overlay and felt comfortable.

Easy to wear

Loved this dress because it has a nice thick lining that laid perfectly and kept my legs warm. It's easy to wear (no bra or shapewear needed) and I got so many compliments!

Comfortable dress, a bit heavy bottom but was warm on a cold evening, has pockets!

This dress was so pretty! The 8 was a little tight but I think a 10 would have been too big but the ribbon belt has no give!! Wore a 2 inch heel and it just skimmed the floor.

Runs slightly small. I am usually an 8 but the 10 fit just right.

I got two dresses and this one was by far my favorite. It got tons of compliments on it from people at the wedding and other random strangers, it was sweet! You feel rather luxurious in it because the fabric is heavier than it looks. I wore it without a bra, it was slightly snug on my waist but it was easy to wear and I could’ve worn it for longer! It also has pockets :)

This dress was very comfortable. It fit well (a little large in the bust). The pockets were an added plus. The dress itself is strapless. The overlay is sheer.

It's actually a thicker material than it looks on this model. There's a satin. jacquard underskirt that helps the chiffon overlay not stick to your body so it's super flattering because the dress really holds it's shape/ doesn't form to all of your curves etc. I'd recommend sizing down if you're btw sizes. Great dress for anyone looking for neck & chest coverage!

This gown was great for the black tie optional wedding I just attended! The description says it’s black, but I swear it’s navy! I bought black shoes and a black shrug to accessorize and when the gown arrived I was surprised they didn’t work with the NAVY dress! I wore gold sandals and they looked great with it. Didn’t need a sweater/shrug layer because it was a warm night and the lining of the dress is very thick and warm. It’s kind of a double knit stiff fabric, about 1/8” thick. The lining gives the dress a nice structure, but it may be too warm for some. My last point is that it runs small. Thank goodness I ordered a 6 (my usual size 90% of the time) and 8. I could not even zip up the back of the 6, from the waist and up!! I measure 35.5” around the bust and there was no hope of closing the 6! The size 8 fit me well. I got many compliments!

Beautiful dress with pockets, but I misjudged the reviews and it was too tight across the top. I would have ordered the second size as an 8c but it was out of stock.

This dress is one of my favorite dresses that I've ever worn. It was a big hit at the wedding I attended and was so pretty. It fit perfectly. HIGHLY recommend this dress!

This dress is beautiful and very solidly built. The zipper is stiff around the waist details when on the hanger and the fabric is strong. If you're snug in the dress, you'll have to work to get past that. If in doubt, size up, and then prepare for complements. It really is lovely.

This gown is gorgeous! And it has pockets :). I had a size 8 (to small in the chest) and a backup size 12 (too big everywhere) - I needed the 10 but it was not available at time of rental. Will rent the 10 for an event again.

I'm a smaller busted, regular waisted, and have slightly larger hips. 5'8" and 160 pounds. This size 8 fit me perfectly. It's a heavier more formal dress (I wouldn't call it light and swingy).

This dress was a hit. A little long on top for short torso gals but the fabric was amazing. Pockets were great.

This was my backup and I didn’t wear it, even though it’s very pretty, well-made and has pockets. Although the top is a bit odd, it works. The skirt is very full and stiff (but nice!) it’s just that for an outdoor formal event on a 68 degree day, it was a very heavy skirt with no flow and many under-layers. I would wear this to a more gala type or actual black tie only event.

I took the extra step to actually rent this dress for no occasion just so I could see if the style suited me. Neither the 2 or the 4 could be zipped up because of how tight it is in the waist (more like rib cage). I had also purchased a membership hoping that some of the dresses I liked would be available there -- but this one was not. I honestly don't know how others work out a rental that arrives a day in advance. I like to know if something fits, looks good and how to style it -- in advance. That said, this is a beautiful dress and well made. Ultimately I liked another style better for the event we are going to.

Runs slightly big in my opinion. I ordered a 6 with a size 4 as backup and ended up wearing the 4 because the 6 was way too big. There was even room in the bust in the size 4, but I admittedly have a very small chest. Fit well in the waist. I wish the top overlay had a little less volume.

Fit well and was fairly comfortable. Fabric was a bit rough.

This dress was only available in sizes 12 and 16, and I usually wear a 14. I decided to go for it, hoping that one of them would end up fitting. Unfortunately, a 14 would have been perfect! I loved the dress though, and I hope I'm able to rent the 14 for an event soon!!

This is a beautiful dress but just not quite right for a short torso. The draped part on top looks very baggy. Also if you’re between sizes, I’d size up. The under part of the top is structured and tight. I’m usually between a 6 and an 8, and the 6 was uncomfortably tight on top. I might try this again in the future in the 8. I wish it came in petite.
