This dress is very well made and super comfortable minus the sleeves.

Fits great, very comfortable. The only slight drawback is that the sleeves are somewhat itchy are first, but they didn't seem to bother me throughout the night. The fabric is on the thicker side also, so I wouldn't wear it in hot weather for an outdoor function. All in all, I loved it!

This dress fit me perfectly! I wore it for a wedding rehearsal dinner, and everyone loved it. It hid all my lumps, and accentuated my assets. Best thing, no shape wear needed!

Fun lace sleeves - basic cut dress.

The sleeves on this dress are really pretty and interesting! But I'm too short for it at 5' 2". I think this would look great on a taller woman!

The simple little black dress is a must-have, and this one hits the mark for that perfectly with the plain silhouette. The sleeves are more beautiful in person, with an intricate design that create a "wow" look as everything else about the dress provides a backdrop. While it is lace, there is a thickness in the way the material moves that proves its luxury. A definite winner I want to buy!

Kay Unger knows a curvy woman's body! So comfortable. As said in previous reviews, sleeves look like they will be itchy, not at all. Very comfortable. Wore to a late fall wedding. Lace around shoulders is beautiful. This dress runs big as far as I'm concerned. I could of worn a 12 instead of the 14 W. This dress was a last minute substitute for a size in another dress that was not available.

The dress was just right for my event. It was comfortable, flattering, and a good length. The sleeves really dress it up. Be sure to think about the necklace situation. It needs something eye-catching or else the neckline would be too plain. Bonus--bra does not show.

I wish I could've worn this dress, but there was a strict "no black" policy at my event. However, it was gorgeous! It fit like a sheath, but didn't cling to ANYTHING. I wouldn't have needed any shapewear AND could wear a regular bra. The only complaint is that the lace on the sleeves was a bit itchy, but not unbearable by any means.

RTR sent this as a replacement dress because my ordered one was returned late. This dress fit really nicely but did not work for the type of party I was going to. I tried it on and thought I would review it anyway. It is a little somber, but I was pleasantly surprised at how flattering it was. For the right event this would be a good choice.

I always have to go up a size or two for my bust, this was no exception. Fit well in the bust while it was a bit loose in the hips. but that allowed for comfortable dancing. I usually hate lace because it irritates my skin, but the sleeves were great. Considering it was a last minute replacement for another choice, it was a great one

The dress is fully lines crepe, hangs perfecting and the lace with just a bit of sparkle is fabulous. I wore this as a guest at a wedding and received tons of compliments.. The fabric has a tiny bit of stretch but I found the measurements are spot on. the cut allows you to wear a regular black bra with standard to thin straps because it lays right at the point the lace joins the crepe. Prefect with a pair of black stilettos and I wore it with the Slate & Willow "Adams Earrings" .

The W in the size means WIDE. This cut on this dress is wide. The shoulders and sleeves fit great, but the cut of the dress was enormous. I wish the sizing has clearly mentioned that this dress is a wide fit.

Love the crepe fabric, the dress has enough structure to be flattering. It was a last minute need and I rented in the store. All they had was a size 1-2 sizes bigger than I needed but it looked fine and was so comfortable. The bottom was too wide for me as I don't have big hips, but it wasn't too noticeable.

I got both the 18 and the 20 since I was told the dress ran small. It does run a bit small in the hip area but I was swimming in the larger size. (Also I was going to be mostly seated so I was ok with the bottom half not being so flattering) Sleeves are puffy but provided the dramatic look For the opera that I was seeking. Was thrilled that I didn't need to purchase a special bra for the occasion. Was such a whirlwind evening I forgot to take a pic -- sorry!

Pretty dress in nice condition but the sleeves were much too long for me and the body was baggy. Dress proportions meant for big and tall girl, not short and squat like me. The other size 20 dresses were more fitted on me. This one just didn't work. Plus the sleeves were scratchy so I didn't love it, even if it did fit.

I am 5'6", 38DD and normally a size 14 but I guess 14W is extra wide as the only place the dress fit was in my bust. It was huge everywhere else, I was swimming in the bottom half of the dress. The length is right to the knee so will be good for anyone who needs a nice conservative dress. Seems like a dress for an older person.
