The pictures for this dress do it no justice. It is so much more beautiful in person. I believe it is true to size. I wore the 16w. I feared the lace overlay wouldn't fit (this is a 2 piece dress) because of my large arms, but it was a perfect fit. It seemed to become more comfortable as the evening progressed. I actually felt myself sitting a little taller in this dress, because, well, I felt pretty. This was the first time I tried Rent the Runway, and what a good choice it was. I will definitely rent again.

This is a great style! The slip has sequins and combined with the lace overlay, this style is definitely a stand-out look! The lace on the sleeves is comfortable. The length is great. The material is a little stretchy, so you have room to live. The sparkle underneath the lace is subtle, but it's definitely there! I felt very pretty in this style. I would absolutely rent this style for a wedding or some other fun event!

I’m 5’1” so the dress fell below the knee, which is exactly what I️ was hoping for.

This dress is beautiful and so very comfortable. It was 2 separate pieces. The first layer is a sparkly and stretchy tank dress. The 2nd layer is the lace floral. Once on and adjusted it was fabulous. I wore it at an event that was 5 hours long and I never had to adjust it. The dress was very comfortable and received lots of compliments.

Size is true to fit, Comes in two pieces. The purple sequined slip makes for a great dress alone too.I'm 5'3 wear size 14 in dresses

This dress fit great. I got several compliments, it had a little stretch, but not much. My problem area is my gut and I thought it did a great job of not accenting that. It was easy to move and dance it. Great rental for a wedding. Loved the sparkle that peeped out from underneath.

I loved this dress. It was beautiful and comfortable! The 16W was perfect (with spanx) and the 18W was way too big. I got compliments all night!

The 14 fit well but was a little tight across the back so I wore the 16. This is a lovely two-piece garment. The under-dress adds sparkle and the overdress brings elegance. It was perfect for an evening formal event. I paired with beautiful navy blue evening sandals. Very satisfied with the result.

This is a 2-piece dress, the sheath underneath was very sparkly, the top was all lace which really made it seem fancy! I loved the neckline & back. This dress was roomy enough to be comfortable, not snug. No need to wear special undergarments. I felt extremely pretty &feminine. Kept the jewelry to a minimum since the dress had so much sparkle. Received many compliments!

I wore this to my best friends bachelorette dinner. I felt totally comfortable and pretty throughout the whole night. I typically don't like when dresses are two separate pieces but this time it worked to my advantage. The under dress is all sequins ( gorgeous) but, a little to glammy for the group I was with. I wound up wearing a navy slip under the lace overlay to tone down the look slightly. Love the way it all came together!

This dress was absolutely beautiful, but not especially forgiving. It fit like a glove. The material just doesn't have much stretch. And, it was super short when I sat down. But, it was perfect for a fall wedding - sleeves, sparkle, gorgeous details.

I liked this dress a lot! The lace over top is beautiful and so different from dresses I usually wear. I usually wear a 14w with spanx and a 16w without spanx, but I had to size up to the 16w and wear my spanx too. It is form fitting, but not insanely tight. The underlay did have sequins, which looked beautiful, but did dig into my armpits just slightly. Also was a little tight on my thighs when sitting and rode up a little bit. Got compliments from many family members on how beautiful the dress was and my husband loved it. Didn't give 5 stars because it's not the most slimming, but overall was quite happy with it!

The dress was gorgeous, and the fit was pretty true to size. It ran a little big for my bust. I love that it has little snaps to keep your bra straps in place. I'm not particularly short (5'6"), but the dress did hit far lower on my leg than shown in the photo. It came right to my knee. The lace overlay is very soft and comfortable.

The dress hit all of my musts: some arm coverage, attractive without being showy, some degree of sophistication and, most importantly, comfortable. I wore the dress for 10 hours and will wear it again someday.

The dress is gorgeous. Total strangers were bypassing the other guests to come up to me and say how pretty this dress was. I have 5 people stop me to gush, including two who wanted it for themselves and their mom for an upcoming wedding. It was really gorgeous and easy to move in and dance in, which is what I did all night. I have a new grandbaby, so I wanted something looser so I could pick her up without a problem, and this was elegant, and fun to wear and be in. Beautiful. Only problem with it was my bra strap showing in the back, but we taped it to the dress.

It was very comfortable and easy to wear. I recieved a lot of compliments. It felt extremely elegant. Hit me lower on the leg than in the picture, but I'm on the shorter side. Fit true to size, thought it did feel like it got a bit looser as the night went on.

For this dress, I used the Kay Unger sizing chart and it was pretty spot on. I requested the size up as my free size just in case, but did not need it. I'm 5'11 and the dress was actually just at the top of my knee, as opposed to being a few inches above as shown in the photo on the model. My favorite thing about the dress was probably that it was basically two dresses in one. The inner sequined sheath actually had its own zipper. The dress is sort of a stretch lace so it moved with me throughout the evening! I was definitely most happy to have chosen this dress!

runs small for 14w. Looked nice but very restrictive feeling.

I was looking for a dress to wear to an outdoor spring wedding. I thought the light blue and lace would be perfect. When I got the dress, it was a darker blue color. Plus the slip underneath has sequins on it, which you can't tell from the picture or description. Not my really my style. I passed on this one, but luckily I got another and it was perfect. So no harm, no foul.

I was so frumpy... definitely more of a mature look. Did not wear!

I wasn't able to wear the dress. I was sent two, lace only, dresses. It was see through and didn't come with a slip dress to wear under the lace. Very disappointed and I was still charged!

This dress was very pretty, it has sequins on the dress underneath, which I loved. I am short so the sheath fell to just over my knees. The back was beautiful as it was a nice V that didn't go to low but was still a pretty shape. The outer lace has no give, but the under dress does. It looks expensive, the lace it not too delicate and it all works very nice together.

I wore this for my daughter's wedding. There is a sequinned under dress that shines through just a little. Don't wear hose though, because the sequins pull at hose.

Fit was great. The lace overlay is even prettier in person, and was not hot. I felt very comfortable all night.

I loved it, my hips are so much larger than the rest of my body, so it was a bit snug. However because of the lace piece it hid well and it looked great. So many complements

I loved this two-piece dress. The sparkly slip underneath fit wonderfully and I appreciated that it had bra straps. The lace overlay was exquisite, just delicate and lovely. Perfect length - hit me just above the knee. The sparkles show through more than most of the pictures indicate. I'm not generally a person who chooses to wear sparkles. At first I was concerned, but with the lace sheath on top, it really was just lovely.

The dress comes in 2 parts. A sequined dress and a lace overlay. Unfortunately instead of getting both parts and a backup set, I only got the sequined part in a 14W and the overlay 16W. I panicked a little, but when I tried it on it seemed ok. It really was elegant and felt great on. I could chase after my 1 year old and bend and still have some grace. It really was an awesome dress.

I had chosen it for work, but it was way too formal for that. The dress would have been nice to wear to a party or a formal event.

The sheath was a pretty purple/navy sparkly piece that was complemented very well with the lace tunic. It was the right length on me, just above knees. I received many compliments.

Fit true to size

Unfortunately the size I rented was not available so I went with the smaller size back up. The back- up was not big but not uncomfortable. The dress is very pretty. Other reviews mention a lace overlay over a sequin slip. The dress I received had a plain slip so there may be two versions of this dress. I imagine the sequins would have dressed this up a bit but it was fine with the plain slip since my event was semi-formal. My husband recommended that I buy the dress so clearly he liked it.

This looked nice on and fit well( especially if you don't want your arms on full display )but it looked like it had been worn and cleaned a few too many times. This is a problem I have had with 3 of the 4 things I have received from RTR :-(

I wasn't able to wear this as my back up size (one size larger) had been damaged prior to my getting it. This is a two part dress. There is a shiny slip that goes under the lace dress. It would have been perfect in the right size.
