I got compliments all night on the dress and also the Lee Angel tie necklace I paired with it. I am 5'6 1/2" tall, and the regular length drug the floor just enough with flats that you couldn't tell I had ballet slippers on! Comfy! Ay my height, I feel like the regular would've worked with heels, too, but if I planned to wear them I'd probably get the longer length just to be safe. You'll love the vintage charm of this dress, and it's made so well!

I had to wear a size up because the 18 was not available. It was a little too large on me but not noticeably so. The under slip was a copper color and and soft against my skin. Lots of compliments!

I wore this to a black tie gala and it was perfect. Fits true to size but the picture on the model looks NOTHING like the actual dress (in the best possible way!). The dress I received came in 2 parts - a knee length nude slip dress and then a long black lace dress. It looked beautiful and I received many compliments. This was the first time using RTR and will absolutely be back!

Lovely dress! Sexy. It is a different color in person than on the website. It looks bronze on the website. Mine is clearly black with the underlying gold slip that comes through. The gold does not really give it a metallic look so much as "a nudity about it" as I put it :) That meant it sort looked like I had a see-through black lace dress on. This was fine with me. It was for my stepson's Halloween wedding, it was actually just perfect. All the bridesmaid were wearing black gowns so I was definitely not out of place in this. Good fit, true to size.

I however really hated that the slip was longer than the lace. I had to tuck it into my pantyhoser, so that it didn't drag. As you can see in my photo, sometimes it slipped out anyways!

This dress was beautiful! I'm 5'7, and will always rent a tall. It was perfect with low heels.

The fit was great, except the under dress was longer than the over dress by about 2". A couple of pins took care of the additional length and it looked great! It is a subtle shimmer such that I did not feel either over or under dressed for the occasion (opera gala) and matched it with great earrings from Rent, black fabric shoes already in my possession and a vintage black fabric clutch with gold trim. I am very tall, and the dress hung beautifully and allowed me to make a good statement to a new crowd. What a joy to be able to dress properly without ruining my budget!

I received this dress as a back up to my other two dress that I ordered. The other dresses were a size 18 and that is the size I usually wear but this dress was too big in multiple areas. I loved the dress and wished it would have been a size smaller and I would have worn it. I didn't wear it to the event due to the size but it was an awesome look for classy, conservative, and sexy! It hit the floor at a great length and wasn't heavy or stuffy. Great dress, wrong size! :)

I would have given it more stars, but the lining was much longer than the dress, like 3 inches! I had to tape up the lining. I thought it was very flattering and received many compliments. It is a nice stretchy lace fabric. With tights it was warm enough for a cold new years eve!

I usually wear a size 24, but took a chance on the 22 and it was fine. I am 5'9" so I wish the long was available, but I wore really cute shoes that peeked from beneath the dress as I walked. If you want to look amazing, while being comfortable all night long...this is the gown for you.

I attended a fundraiser gala, the dress was simple but elegant. I should have rented a large necklace to accentuate the dress, I only wore large chandelier earrings but I thought I was still missing something. I was comfortable wearing the dress and would have worn it again if I didn't have to return it right away. I would recommend to wear spanx or some other 'fat-holding-in' technology available to smooth out the curves and would also recommend to wear comfortable heels as this is a long gown.

Beautiful gown. I loved the thickness of the material (It's two layers). Very elegant dress that is comfortable and classy.

Fit was wonderful and I can't think of a con.

The one drawback to this dress was the sheath that you wear underneath it was too long and hung out the bottom of the dress. So I had to pin it up to keep it from hanging out. Otherwise, I loved it.
