Fit perfectly - I was concerned that the 14W would be too tight since most high fashion tends to run small but this was exactly true to size!

Loved this dress, very simple fit and it ran true to size. Intricate detail, very glamorous and fun to wear!

The dress was great, as reviewers have mentioned it's two pieces -- a black slip dress and a lace sheath on top. If your a bit bustier, it can be a bit short, which was why I chose the larger size. Would highly recommend!

I loved the dress, it was too big in the back and it gaped between my shoulders and waist. I ended up wearing something in my own closet but I really did like the way it looked from the front. If it had come in a smaller size, I definitely would have worn it.

This dress was exactly what I was looking for. They didn't have my size, so I went up, it was a little big as expected but wasn't noticeable. The dress is actually two separate pieces, the under black tank dress and then the lace shell. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because there is a white tag on the inside of the lace shell that is glaringly obvious against all of the black.

This dress was my backup dress - and I ended up LOVING it! It fit great. The slip underneath is a completely separate piece. It was short enough to be fun but still comfortable. It was fitted without being tight and completely comfortable. I normally wear a size 12 or 14 in jeans and this 14 fit with plenty of room.

Great fit! Perfect for a Gatsby themed party. I loved the feathered fringe detail and thought it was flattering on my torso. It was shorter than I envisioned so I layered a slip under the slip it came with. It added a few inches and you couldn't even tell! Would rent again!

The dress fit great, and was spot on for my Speakeasy themed party. The lace was great as it never snagged on my jewelry. I did find the dress to be a little short (I'm only 5'4") so sitting was a good think I had Spanx shorts on underneath.

I rented this dress for a 1920's themed wedding. I was disappointed as the original size I reserved was no longer available. Customer service was great and they helped me find another dress although I choose not to wear it. I went with this dress in a size too large and it was mostly noticeable on my upper body, as I couldn't wear my original size if guessing on the fit. Great and light weight. I did have to remove my necklace as it would get caught in the lace, and the feathers were a great touch.

I loved almost everything about this dress, from the lace cut-out to the feathers that accent the hemline. My event turned out to be a little less formal (cowboy-themed), so I opted for tights and a pair of cowboy boots, but this dress works great with black pumps for a high-glam cocktail party look. The only drawback was the sizing/fit of the dress. My usual sizes 12 and 14 were unavailable, so I decided to take a chance on the 16. Either the dress runs small or, more likely (judging by the way the dress hangs loose on the model and the fact that I usually wear a size 12-14) the dress had somehow been shrunk or the fabric had drawn up due to excessive dry-cleaning. The satin slip underneath fit well, but the top layer (black lace cut-out that is separate and unconnected to the slip) was very snug and a bit shorter than the slip. I had to keep pulling at the hem line to keep it from riding up my backside. The only reason I was able to pull it off was because I opted for black tights underneath, to minimize the inappropriate length and tightness.

Beautiful dress, loved the beading and feather detail. Would definitely keep this in my closet! It's true to size and is very comfortable! Can wear a regular bra :-)

the feathers on the bottom you have to be careful of when using the ladies room but other than that it was comfy and fit great! Love rent the runway!

The dress was great. It is actually 2 pieces- a black slip and the lace dress that goes over that. The beading and feather detail at the bottom is amazing. It was comfortable and I felt stylish in it.

Love how this dress looks on. Detailing and lace are impeccable. The only downside is the dress goes to my knee. I am 5"4 and wish they made a petite option for the dress. Perfect for hiding pre and post partum bumps.

I really did like the dress for the 20's themed party I attended this weekend. I doubt I would have worn it to a wedding or other formal occasion. Pretty but just not my formal/wedding attire style. One thing that I would have loved to know is the size of the arms. I have abnormally large arms compared to most women and the sleeves were slightly tight. If I knew this I probably would have rented a larger size just to fit my arms.

I wore the dress to a roaring 20s bday party. The dress was comfortable, it wasn't tight. The only thing is, the feathers do fall off. But it is to be expected. The feathers are loose and makes the dress look soft on the bottom, which I do like.

I rented this dress for a 1920's themed wedding, and I got lots of compliments. I loved that it matched with the theme with the lace and the fringed feathers at the bottom. The classic black color fit well, too. The bodice of the dress is loose in most areas, but not frumpy at all. With the exception of the bust area, it's got a fairly straight form so there's no waist cinching... While that doesn't allow for the classic hourglass shape, it is very forgiving for those of us with a little extra in the belly/hips area. Also, I was happy to find that the sleeves fit my wide upper arms perfectly. The dress comes with a nice black silky slip that's definitely necessary since the dress is lacey and see-through without it. However, the slip was big on me, even though it's the same size as the dress. We had to pin the slip to my bra in the back, which helped cinch it and lift it up since it drooped a little in the back at the bottom. The top of the dress (the neckline and sleeves) is very simple; if I were to re-design it, I think I'd want to add some sort of embellishment along the neckline. That said, it's very easy to add a statement necklace on to glam it up! Also, the feathers at the bottom wilted and fell off the dress throughout the night, but that was expected, I think.

I always forget to take pictures in my dresses! I wore this one for my Great Gatsby themed 25th birthday party, and it was absolutely perfect! It fit the theme without being over-vintage, or seeming "costume-like." Its absolutely timeless! I wore a long pearl necklace with it, and it got snagged in the lace a few times, so avoid wearing any jewelry that tends to snag on stuff! I also did lose one or two feathers along the way, but other than that it was smooth sailing in this dress. Easy and comfortable to wear!

It was a little big, but the 14 wasn't available. I was very comfortable all night. I had read a review that said the underslip was too long. That was definitely the case for me. Used double stick tape and that did the trick. Felt pretty and chic at the same time
