Great fit, wore with strapless bra. Comfortable, not form fitting, but gave great shape. Wore this to my bridal shower. Was very fun!

I had originally decided I was going to give this dress 4 stars because of fit issues, but after the night I had it's got to be 5 stars all the way! The gold foil on the dress is beautiful! Shiny but not over the top. The dress is modest although the shoulders are transparent so I wore a bra with clear straps. The fit is a little funny. There is a lot of extra room in the stomach area. I first tried on the 14 and it clung a little around my hips causing the stomach area to bunch up. I almost didn't bother trying on the 16, but I am so glad I did! It hung much nicer, but still felt a bit big. I decided to wear it anyway since I had already gotten my accessories and my husband bought a gold tie. The whole outfit pulled together beautifully! Everyone at the party complimented me on the dress. I even had a woman I have never met before come over to tell me that I was the most beautiful woman at the party!!!! That has never happened to me before! Love RTR!

It was a little small in my regular 16 so I wore the 18 and it was a little loose but felt comfortable and looked beautiful.

This dress is gorgeous! Definitely a show-stopper. It is much more gold in person, it is very sparkly and glamorous. It was perfect for my rehearsal and rehearsal dinner, I got a ton of compliments! It does run pretty large, I wished I had gotten the 14 but it was too late. Beautifully made dress!

I wore this to a dress to a wedding on a boat here in Chicago last weekend! I rented it with the Badgley Mishka gold clutch and the Kendra Scott rain earrings from RTR as well. I dressed it up with a gold belt I already had at home. I knew no one at the wedding except the groom but received all kinds of compliments on the dress from strangers. If attention is what you are looking for this is the DRESS! I wish I could wear it again to my bridal shower but I will be on the hunt for another gem from RTR! I have rented from here often but this was the first time I was able to snap a cute pic earlier in the day! As usual nothing but great service from RTR!! I literally have all the ladies at my job hooked on RTR now as well and they will be renting there first dresses for all these summer weddings.

I rented this dress for a work Christmas party. It runs slightly on the small side. Received several compliments throughout the night. Always a winner with Rent the Runway.

I am 5'0", and I normally wear 18, but I was 15 weeks pregnant, so I wore the 20, but I'm still saying the dress was "true to size". The dress is made for a much taller figure, so I ended up pinning the shoulders and wearing a black shrug over the dress - added bonus, I didn't have to worry about the transparent shoulders/strapless bra issue. I got a TON of compliments and felt like a rockstar!

So often nice dresses are to small in the bust making me go up a size, but this dress was perfect. I didn't have to fight to get my bust in it. The only downside is the cut was a little boxy and not very faltering to my curves.

This dress was beautiful! I am a high school teacher and I wore it to chaperone the prom. It was a little big for me so I added the belt on my waist. Overall, this was a very good first rental experience!

I wore this dress to an art show. It was perfect with a little sparkle but not over done. I got a lot of compliments and the sheer material created a sexy look that was still work appropriate. It fit well and was true to size. The material is a little scratchy but not bad. Definitely a good find!

Loved this dress! Great fit for me, a little bigger than most! The fabric was thicker than I thought it would be but it was surprisingly flexible and had a lot of give to it. I loved the fabric at the top too, nice details!

I originally wanted a size 18W (my size), but it was unavailable in time for my event, so I was shipped a size 16W And 20W. The 16W wouldn't zip, but the 20W did, but a little big. The pros is that it is a beautiful dress, the cons is that it doesn't really fit to your shape (come in on the sides), so you'll have to wear a belt to define where your boobs end and your tummy begins. You MUST WEAR SLIMMING GARMENTS UNDERNEATH or your rolls WILL show (not cute)!!! This is very flattering for larger women and you'll get many compliments.

I normally wear a 16 and ended up going with an 18 in this dress. I have larger thighs and the 16 was just a bit too tight to be comfortable, however it fit the rest of my body great. The 18 was great for my legs and a little bit big of my bust but not noticeably so. Long enough to be classy but short enough to be sassy.

The fit of the dress was perfect. I am very curvy, with an hourglass shape so I don't usually wear non-A-line dresses. However, I read the reviews and felt secure that everything would be in place with my Double D chest if I went 1 size up. I paired it with a gold shawl and a metallic colored pencil belt to give my waist definition.

This dress is perfect for weddings. It did seem to run a bit small however. Very nice and would definitely rent it again

Fit was true to size, but the fabric has very little give so if you're between two sizes the larger may be more comfortable. I got so many compliments from my shower guests on how beautiful the dress was.

Dress fit me perfectly. I loved the length- thought it hit at just the right spot on my 5'4" frame. Very comfortable and a standout among all other dresses at the wedding.

The dress fit true to size. I wore it for a wedding as a matron of honor. (We were given the option of choosing neutral metallic colors.) I was complimented so so many times! A wonderful dress.

I was nervous when my backup size (16W) wasn't available- I usually have issues with sheath dresses because of being pear shaped, and I was worried the bottom would be too tight. My jeans size is usually a 16 or an 18, but in tops i am sometimes a 12. In the end, it fit close to perfectly. The bottom was a TEENSY bit snug when I sat and the bust a bit big, but it looked great and I felt great in it. The gauze

It was a beautiful dress and I really loved wearing it. I needed a gold dress as a bridesmaid and this was flashy but also glamorous. I got many compliments on it. It was a little bit big in some places, maybe the material is just a little bulky and you will have to wear a strapless bra because the sleeves are see through mesh. Overall, it was just what I needed!

It was perfect so much so my fiancee wanted to go and buy the dress for me to keep, until i told him the retail price :)

I ordered this one as a backup dress. My first choice fit so I didn't wear it. It fit really well and was very pretty. It is definitely more gold in person than it looks in the picture. The insets are really pretty and it is a very classic design.

I'm very much a pear and the top of this dress was slightly large while the bottom was too tight. But the dress is absolutely gorgeous! Unfortunately, my area doesn't deliver on Saturdays so I'll wear something I already own.

I order this dress for a wedding. I liked that it was gold a nice color for an afternoon summer wedding. I ordered the 20w and the 22w. The 20w was way too tight around my hips but fit well in the bust area. The 22w fit around my hips, but was definitely loose in the bust area. It wasn't too noticeable, but I just wish it was a bit tighter. The color was lovely, but for some reason I thought the material of the dress would be different. It's more of a scratchy brocade material. Probably more suitable for a fall or even winter wear. Don't get me wrong it wasn't a super heavy dress, but I could definitely get more wear out of it during those seasons. I paired it with nude heels and gold jewelry. I was content with the dress overall.

This is a beautiful dress. Unfortunately this designer runs small. I am usually a 14W so I order a 14W and a 16W. the 14W was MUCH too small and the 16W was very snug across my hips-to the point I wouldn't be able to sit down comfortably. Luckily was able to get a different dress overnighted that worked out. Lesson learned - double check all of the sizing on the different designers. They vary greatly and in most cases run small.

I normally wear a size 18, and, while I was able to wear it, it was too tight on my middle and the shoulders were a little scratchy. The color is amazing and the dress itself is beautiful, but didn't work great for my body. I'd wish I'd ordered a back-up size UP instead of down. Oh well!
