The necklace I had chosen originally was not available at the last minute, so RTR had a stylist choose a substitute. Seeing it on the website I would have thought it was too gaudy for me, but I ended up really liking it, and got many compliments on it. I was able to wear it with 2 different outfits for different occasions, and it worked well for both.

This was an accessory sent when the other necklace I had chosen for my event had been returned beyond repair by a previous RTR user. WOW! I think this worked better than my first choice! Julianne at RTR sent this one as a substitute and I received compliments all night long. I think it complimented PERFECTLY the Flora Chiffon Badgley Mischka I was wearing. It is definitely a statement piece so ensure your dress is simple in style and has the neckline. - it needs an open neckline- heart shaped OR strapless. The wideness of the necklace may not work for those styles which are more defined (v-neck or square). I paired with the Crisol Crystal Tear drop earrings -as mentioned in other reviews- the beige/pearl look pieces are a light wood but any dress or style with green or crystal/diamond looks are perfect. The crystal and green stones are a light green but it offsets the dark kelly green of my dress. It was nice and light - NOT heavy like you might expect. I was able to wear this for my event --- AND also paired it with a work dress the day before that had a heart shape neckline to "test drive" -- worked for both FORMAL and INFORMAL - bonus! I'll rent this piece again for a summer outdoor event OR for a formal event if I wear a GREEN or strapless dress again.

I wore this with the Halston Heritage Flip Switch dress and it was perfect for making it wedding appropriate. Although it looks big, the necklace wasn't too heavy and fell perfectly at the neckline. The off-white pieces are actually wood but fit in well with the green and clear pieces.

Great with a dress or how I paired it, with just a plain T & jeans and heels. Got lots of compliments and everyone loved it! Hated to return it!

Wore this for an outdoor fall rehearsal dinner and paired it with a plain Macau cocktail dress. This necklace is so fun and original with a unique paring of diamond-esque jewels and wood. Yes the beige color is wood - very cool. Definitely a statement piece to be worn with a solid color dress.
