This clutch made me feel sophisticated and classy all night. Definitely a conversation starter and SO fun to carry! Lots of room for cards and your phone! I would definitely rent again.

This held so much- iPhone, gum, lipstick, compact, lip liner blush. Nice to hold! Beautiful! Could go with any dress color. Gold, white, pink, silver, black, grey...Easy to open, stayed closed. It was a great conversation piece and I got so any compliments on it from both men and women. I have to buy myself one of these!

I wore a blush gown for my wedding, and the pink in this clutch complimented the dress perfectly. The size was ideal for carrying just my phone, lipstick, and compact. It was a touch of whimsy to a fun but formal wedding, and it looked fabulous in pictures! We had a literary themed reception, so it was a perfect fit.

This was such a fun purse and it was really functional too, it fit all the essentials you need for a night out. I got so many compliments carrying it around.

Best. Purse. Ever. It is cute and practical- lots of space inside for your phone, cash, keys, cards, a little bit of make up, etc. It's also very comfortable to carry, even without a strap. Fits nicely in your hand or under your arm. Everyone at the wedding asked me where I got it.

I loved this clutch so much I really would like to buy it someday. It held more than I thought it would. I could fit my iPhone (with my bulky Otter Box cover on it) as well as lipstick, money and cards. I definitely recommend this!

Loved this! It was a perfect pair to the Clover Canyon 'Santorini' dress for an outdoor ceremony. It's near the size of a book and holds everything that one needs for an evening out. The clasp is sturdy so there is no fear of losing anything.

I love this clutch so much I'm considering buying it on eBay! It's surprisingly roomy - I could easily fit all the necessities: phone, cards, lipstick, chapstick. Overall, probably my favorite thing I've ever rented on RTR (and I've loved everything I've ever gotten)

This really made my prom outfit. The theme was Great Gatsby, and this clutch fit perfectly. I could fit my phone, keys, and some makeup in. My phone's large, or I could have put in more. This bag really looks like a book. I was talking to one of my friends, who patted me on the shoulder and said, "Sweetie, you really brought a book to prom?" It was perfect for me in every way. Oh, and the cover is slick, so if you get any water on it or something, you can brush it right off.

This Kate Spade clutch was too cute! I love the book quote on the back, I rented this for my birthday dinner and it was the perfect finishing touch to my bronze Opening Ceremony dress (also a rental)!

I really loved this clutch. It was actually larger than what I expected. It really was the size of a large hard cover book. So it was perfect for the wedding I went to. And I got a lot of compliments on it. And someone asked why I brought a book to the wedding which I thought was funny. Loved it, would totally rent it again.

I rented an entire outfit from RTR for a formal event and of everything I ordered this bag was definitely the hardest to return. I will very likely rent it again in the future, it's so pretty and adorable for many different looks and occasions. It pulled together my look so well, my only regret is that I didn't order to go with the dress I rented for Graduation! It is larger than I expected which worked great because everything fit better than a hand sized clutch would have.

Good size clutch, about the size of a larger actual book. Fit my wallet, keys, phone and lipstick. Wouldn't fit a phone charger but great size with internal zipper pocket and card pockets. Secure clasp and the exterior is covered in a sort of plastic so you don't have to worry about setting it down for pictures. Everyone asked about it!

I rented this purse as a last minute accessory, and could not have been more pleased with both the experience and the purse! The purse arrived in perfect condition and added the perfect finishing touch to my subtly Gatsby-esqe outfit. I wore a lace cocktail length dress and focused mostly on hair and makeup to fit the theme since I wasn't in the mood for long pearls and a headband. It is a fun clutch to carry and a great addition to my night! I am including up-close pictures because the details are what make this bag. Took to the black tie wedding of someone in my book club, it was beautiful and a nice size to carry everything I wanted.

I've had my eye on this clutch for awhile and was so happy to see that RTR had it. I got a lot of questions and compliments on it ("Is that a book?!"), and people kept asking me what I was reading-LOL! It's a little small on the inside (fitting my make-up and cell phone was difficult), but it was such a fun clutch that it was totally worth it!

The selling point on this purse is the uniqueness! It is a perfect clutch for any affair where you want to be noticed but not swimming in glitter noticed. It is a classic Kate Spade - modern but classic all at once. The inside and the back of the clutch quote are highlights to this conversation starter. they inside and the WONDERFUL quote on the back ( possibly my favorite in the book). The inside can function like a wallet - with pockets for cards and a zippered inside pouch area. The laminate the purse gave it that "book " look and also served as a protector against the elements of the night. GREAT CLUTCH! This is one that Edith Wharton would appreciate seeing on the most alluring woman in the drawing room :)

I used this as the final touch on an interpretive Gatsby costume. I rented the Lilly LBD, the necklace, and this bag for an all around 20s inspired look. I didn't want to go "too costumey" but thought dressing up a LBD would be a happy medium. I will say about the purse, it was incredibly difficult to open. It could have just been me, but I couldn't quite figure it out.

This purse went really well with the dress I rented. It was a great talking piece as well since people would turn it over to read the back of the "book". It held more than I thought it would which was great. I would rent this again in a heartbeat.

I loved this clutch, and it was definitely a conversation piece. It looked great with the dress and I got so many compliments. My only issue was that the entire back of the bag was wrinkling underneath the plastic, and it couldn't be smoothed down. The front was fine, but you could tell this bag had been used before.

Really cute clutch. Nice style, adorable design, etc. Really big with an inside zipper pocket and credit card slots. The cover is plastic and there was some cracking on the "binding" of the book. Not super noticeable to anyone else, but this little rental has definitely been used.

This clutch was so cute - very original and different; everyone thought I was actually carrying a book! I rented this because it fit perfectly with my friends' shabby chic New England wedding (her colors were pink, mint, and gold). It definitely delivered the wow factor I was looking for - the only downside is that it is pretty small, so you can really only fit small things (nothing bigger than an Iphone/cell phone)...I was hoping to carry my camera in it. Otherwise, it was perfect!

Wish this Clutch either had a larger clasp, was smaller, or wasn't covered in plastic. It was super fun and got a lot of attention, but I also felt like I had brought a ratty plastic covered library book to a black tie wedding! It fit everything, which was a plus, but looked too big in my hands.

I had been drooling over these Kate Spade book clutches for months and when I saw this 1920s book clutch for such an amazing price I knew it was an essential accessory for my prom outfit. It arrived in good repair, though it was a little hard to open until I figured out how it worked! My only complaint would be that with an iPhone 4s, a tube of lipstick and a few other things, the clutch was nearly full so just keep that in mind when renting. Overall I really loved this clutch, I wish I could've kept it!

CONS: It was pretty small. I fit in only a few essentials; visa, cash, and my phone barely fit... (I have an iPhone 5)
