Fit well, and was comfy too!

The dress fit well. It was probably a tad bit longer than I would have wanted but at 5'2" I am used to that. I paired it with a J.Crew necklace. This was my third rental and I've been really satisfied each time.

It fit perfectly! A little snug around my rib cage, but it loosened up as the night went on! I typically wear a 4, but the 2 fit even better!

I rented this dress for an early October wedding. It was perfect! The color is true to the website image and absolutely gorgeous in person. I paired it with nude wedges and a bolero for the church ceremony. RTR also sent me kate spade's Putting on the Ritz necklace for my $15 "Stylist's Surprise," which paired perfectly. I rented sizes 0 and 2, end ended up wearing the 2 (the 0 was just a little too snug around my ribcage).

It was snug I´m a size six but they didnt have it available and i took a chance with the 4 it was snug but it fit me with my trusty spanx everyone love the the dress the green was perfect for the summer-fall wedding it was a bright dress with the perfect accesories it just pops love it and will rent again and again

Amazing dress. If you have a bigger chest, this may be tight and you may have to go up in a size. The fabric is great; it doesn't wrinkle if you have been sitting for a long period of time. I gto received tons of compliments and I paired it with Kate Spade jewel clutch.

This dress is so beautiful. I got compliments the whole day! Everyone loved the color and the fabric had just the right amount of sheen. Fits like a typical Kate Spade dress.

This past Saturday, I wore this fabulous Kate Spade dress to a Catholic / Irish / Michigan State wedding on St.Patrick's Day! The weather was beautiful and it was absolutely wonderful to skip on wearing tights with this dress, especially in March. The dress hit right above the knee and I had no problems sitting or dancing. The bright emerald green color made me feel like a classy leprechaun at the celebration! I would HIGHLY recommend this dress to anyone that is small in the bust or worries about filling out the top half of a dress. This is the first strapless dress I have worn where I did not have to worry about the dress slipping down. Not only is there an internal bodice in the top half, there is also a strap in the back that helps bind you in (before zipping up the dress). I wore my hair down, paired the dress with black heels, a white cardigan, and gold vintage heart clip-on earrings of my mom's. I originally was going to pair the dress with a black blazer, but it ended up being way too warm for it! Perfect for any Spartan wedding :) Go Green! Go KATE SPADE!

I rented this dress for a charity gala, and it was wonderful! This is an amazing dress in an amazing color. The color is a true emerald green, and the fabric looks like raw silk (both things you can't really tell from photos). The only problem (and this isn't even really a problem), is that it runs 100% true to size. I'm normally a size 6, but RTR only had a 4 or 8 available for the date I needed, so I got the 8. It was a little big, but an internal strap in the bodice of the dress kept it from falling down all night. A+! p.s. I originally rented this with Elizabeth Cole Bacall Earrings. The earrings looked great with the dress, but were a little much for the event I was going to. I still recommend them with this dress!

I had to rent a size 8 because the designer hadn't sent over a size 6. It was a little big but overall true to size. I got a lot of compliments with this dress! I think mostly due to the bold color. The dress is a bit darker than it looks in the picture and was knee length on me.

I wore this to a holiday/engagement party and received several compliments and positive comments about the dress. It is a beautiful green (a bit darker than it looks in this picture), and a nice satin fabric, appropriate for a dressier occasion. I ordered the 8 and the 10 (probably would have gotten the 6 instead of the 10, but they were out and that ended up working out for the best). The 8 fit much better in the top because I have a larger chest, but it was a little bit snug in the hips. The 10 was loose all over though so I went with the 8 and it was a comfortable fit. It has a strap inside to secure the top, and the zipper in the back is gold and goes all the way down your back. A great dress and fantastic overall experience for my first RTR rental!

The model doesn't do this dress justice! I'm gald a I saw the user photos and reviews because it really is a fantastic emerald green (my favorite color) that I wore to a wedding in late June. The fabric is a raw silk and the gold zipper really gives it a sexy edge. Also, the interior straps mean that this is first strapless dress I didn't have to worry about tugging on all night long. I deducted a star, though, only in that we were in a massive heat wave and the fabric is not that breathable.

A beautiful, bold color and the texture/fabric of the dress is just exquisite. I loved it and wore it with the Kate Spade multicolor statement necklace. It does need a little something and that was the perfect extra boost. Definitely would rent again!

Fit very true to size

While I ended up not wearing this dress, the fit and the lines were great- it was all very flattering! The color is absolutely stunning and the detail on the bodice is precious. The dress was also very comfortable and just the right length.

The dress has a corset type lining - so no need for a bra (my kind of dress!) This dress was comfortable and perfect for an evening wedding.

The fit was perfect, the color stood out, and the dress was a classy but fun style that worked perfect for the rehearsal dinner after party for the formal beach wedding I attended. I highly recomment this dress!

Plenty of room in the hips and waist.

I wore the size 0 (which is my normal size) for a rehearsal dinner, and it fit perfectly. The 00 dress was in much better condition than the 0, but it didn't fit as well as the 0 (too small in the bust). I got a ton of compliments and I wish I could have kept it, it was very classy dress, not too short!

I love this dress. The bodice has bones in it which make the top feel really tight. But, I wore it all night and loved it. It's looser around the waist so still pretty flattering.

I saw this dress at Kate Spade over the winter and fell in love with this dress. I saw it on RTR and decided to rent it for a wedding in April. I was extremely nervous the dress was not going to fit as I am usually a size 10 so I even went to Kate Spade a week before the wedding to try on a dress to make sure it would it! When I got the dress it was in perfect condition, color was amazing, and the dress fit perfect! I got so complements, color, and especially the zipper on the back! I also rented the emerald sparkle clutch to go with the dress and it looked great. Great dress and RTR is the best!

Fit true to size up top and big through the hips. Very bright green. The textured silk was a surprise; I thought it was going to be smooth. The slub silk brought the dress formality level down a level. I normally dislike exposed zippers, but the gold one on this dress is cute. Limits the accessories you can wear with it if you don't like mixing metals.

Too tight

Unfortunately, this dress didn't work. It zipped, but it was too tight in the bust. The lining was also hanging out at the bottom of the dress. It's a beautiful color, and I wish it would've worked. Maybe next time!

This dress fits a bit tightly in the hips, despite what it looks like. I typically wear a size 4 ad tend to carry my weight in my hips. I would go a size up if you also carry your weight in your hips.

Fit was spot on. This dress is beautiful a real emerald, jewel-tone green. Fabric does not move/stretch at all so keep that in mind depending on the event you're going to!

I wore this to a charity gala for the Girl Scouts -- I wore it with a black jacket, purple suede wedges and a gold Lauren Merkin clutch (that I use for every dressed-up event I go to - best investment). It was perfect for the after-work 'cocktail' attire of the gala and it was suggested we wear green -- I received so many compliments and I felt very spring-y! Regarding the fit, as others have noted, it's too bad they don't offer this in a size 6. I am small in the chest & waist but more curvy in the hips & butt. With the interior elastic strap, I didn't have to worry about the top falling down which is always appreciated with strapless styles, though in general it was big on me. Being bigger on my lower half though, the dress tended to bunch up where it was already loose (in the professional photo, just below the model's hand on her hips) so I felt like I was pulling it down so the skirt didn't wrinkle up so much. My only other 'buyer beware' would be in regards to the boning in the top -- while this helped the top half stay up and in place, for the dinner I was at, we were seated pretty much the whole time and this boning pressed into my stomach when I leaned forward to eat or listen to the other people at my table. I think I would have been able to withstand it if I was at a wedding dancing, getting up more, etc. but it was quite uncomfortable by the end of the affair. This was my first experience with Rent the Runway and I was so pleased!

I usually wear an 8 in Kate Spade, so I ordered an 8 and 10. I wore the 10, and even the 10 was a bit tight. It was a cute dress, I was just disappointed in the fit.

I really loved the color, definitely made me stand out... unfortunately so did the snags in this dress. I really thought they would do a quality check on the dresses before sending them out.

I ordered this dress as a back-up option. After talking to some others attending, I went with my other dress. I still wanted to review because it ran perfectly true to an 8. The top is more fitted with a nice bodice and bones to add shape. I found the dress long (I'm quite tall so keep this in mind if you're shorter) and it would be great for another wedding or occassion. The green is beautiful and I found the material to be very nice.
