The dress is lined so I was scared it would be too tight. I ordered an 8 but a 10 would have worked too. I loved tweed so this dress worked for my early winter wardrobe. I added a letterman-style jacket to mix with the classic touch of the tweed.

Thicker fabric with enough structure to stay in place, was a dream to wear with thick tights and boots for a cool weather dinner date.

This is a black tweed dress that fits perfectly. Sometimes Kate Spade is underrated. This dress is a LBD that is forgiving. The length was perfect as a short person. You can accessorize for whatever event you are doing to. I wore it to a fancy work dinner and had more subdued jewelry. And I wore to a fun work lunch with a friend who is very fashionable and I wore bolder jewelry and has a patent leather jacket. You will feel like you own the room if you rent this dress.

This dress is shorter than I would have expected, the key hole is also fairly large so even though it looks like a work dress, it’s definitely a little more sexy than I would wear to the office.

Typically the Kate spade dresses are amazing and fit so well, but I didn’t love this one. It was pretty thick and a little tight in the hips and tummy. The keyhole cutout on the front was surprisingly revealing, which is cute for a date night but might not be appropriate for a work event. Overall it was ok, but won’t rent again.

Great work dress, I should have gotten a 6 instead of 8 though. Also, I didn't realize that it had a split neckline until it arrived. Which was fine but not normally my thing for work - it didn't end up gaping or showing cleavage, just something of note. Great gold coin accent at neck too.
