A tight fit on top true to size though amazing fabric

I got so many compliments on this dress! It was classy yet fit the fun theme of the event perfectly. A few things to note: the dress is actually more of a pink than a red (as shown). This was fine for my event, but just be careful if you are looking for a true red dress. Also, the dress was certainly tight in the bust area. I was a little uncomfortable, but it was well worth it!

You know how you feel ladies when you're all dressed up underneath then the time comes when you put on the dress.....so chic, elegant and beautiful. People complimented me all evening. I'm a true size 6 and smaller busted. I probably could have order 4 instead of a 6 since it is not fitted around the hips. I also rented the necklace as shown......PERFECT!

This dress is amazing. I've never received so many compliments. I wore it to a wedding at a vineyard at sunset and it was perfect for the event. It does run small up top but I'm a small C cup and it wasn't an issue. Any larger and I would have gone a size up and it would have worked. The color is also more of a pink, the picture makes it look red.

Tight at the bust if you have a large chest.

This dress is a little under the bust. Otherwise is was super comfortable, and fun to wear!

The fit was perfect. I did have to use some fashion tape on my bra because it showed just slightly when I raised my arms. I received tons of compliments all night on the dress and the necklace (also an RTR rental). Comfortable. A little warm because of the lining, but for an evening event, was perfect. And the best part? The pockets! Will definitely consider rerenting this specific dress again. To be clear, I'm a 36DD, 145 lbs. And usually wear a size 10 dress.

I am 4'8" and on the model the dress is above the knee, but it hit mid-calf on me! I liked that it was a midi dress because it was different and cooler than I expected. I tried this dress on at the actual Kate Spade store and that was very helpful when it came to ordering the dress. I have quite a large bust and the dress wasn't tight or have those weird lines in between my boobs. Overall, a wonderful dress and that was comfortable and beautiful.

Fit was perfect. It really accentuates your waist. The color is vibrant and perfect shade of hot pink. I loved the pockets!

This dress is a show stopper. I got a ton of compliments throughout the night! Worn to an evening wedding, and it looked great next to my wife's dress blues. I loved the pearls that the model wore, so I rented those as well - totally worth it! Pros: pockets, super fun to dance in, great style. Cons: very thick material, so it can get HOT. Tight in the chest/rib area so it runs a smidge small.

I tried it on with my bra and it was really tight so I took the bra off and it was PERFECT I wasn't worried about no bra because the material is really thick! The pockets helped me carry everything I needed! I love being classy and this dress was a lot longer than all my friends dresses except my friend in the picture lol! So many compliments all night long! Looks really good with tan skin!

This dress was a perfect fit for Northeast Styleweek. The fit and flare of the bottom have it a girly feel while the color made it pop in a sea of dark colors. Chest is tight but wearable, will flatten out a bigger bustline. Perfect dress for any event!

People wouldn't stop talking about this dress! It was fun, colorful and dead on for a really classy wedding. The dress fits a bit oddly; in that it's big in the bust and waist while very very snug across the back. I got both the size 2 and 4 and couldn't zip up the 2, not even half way. The 4 was almost big, but I went with it and was glad I did. With the addition of a Badgley Mishka necklace and gold handbag also from RTR it looked absolutely awesome and was totally classic.

I really liked this dress. I rented it for my boyfriend's business school formal in April. The color is much pinker than it looks on the model, which I loved. The fit is really cute, tight at the waist and a fun flared out skirt. Also pockets! It was a little boxy/big in the bust, but I expected that because I'm smaller up top. I wore silver jewelry but the color could go with gold just as well.

I had tried on the 6 in the store and it didn't fit so I knew I would need an 8 but out of fear that my E34 chest might not fit I ordered the 10 as a back up and thank goodness! If you're busty - go for the bigger size/get two options! Because of that the waist was a little loose which I'm now noticing in pics which is disappointing. Beautiful dress and would recommend considering it for a black tie event.

I got this dress for my sister's tea party bridal shower, for which this dress was suited perfectly for the part. I felt great and almost convinced my mom to wear the size up-- we have different body types and fit us differently, but we both looked great in it! It did get a little tight after I ate, but not uncomfortably.

Pros- Color is a pinkish red. Great jewel color-which is said to be better than a plain black dress. Very Kate Spade-don't know the exact way to say that. Will not wrinkle under any circumstances. Great dance dress Warmer that it looks. It was very cold that night. Cons- Not enough bust room for me-you can see I had uniboob because they didn't have anywhere to go. But I'm very busty, DDD or G. Not a dress I would sit in for a long time. It's just not made for it.

The dress was beautiful and I got a ton of compliments; but this dress is NOT made for anything above a B-cup - contrary to the fit guide that says its it would work well for A-B-C cups. If you are bigger chested, I would suggest getting a size up for your first fit and 2 sizes up for the additional for.

This dress is straight up perfect!

I wore this for my Derby party and loved it! The weather was a bit colder than originally planned, so the thicker fabric was perfect. Plus the color and shine of the dress were lovely! The party was in my honor, so it felt good to stand out in this dress. Plus - pockets! I got so many compliments and used it as a way to tell others about RTR :) Plus, this was a back-up dress since my original choice was too small. RTR was great and helped me get this alternate option in time for the party :)

This fit perfectly- didn't even need to try on the size 6 because the size 4 fit like a glove! I'm usually a size 4 and this runs true to size. It wasn't too short either, and being 6'0 I worry about that. It hit mid-thigh. I have a small bust, and it fit well and allowed me to wear a regular bra. The material was nice, not too thick or thin. Would be good year-round. This was my first rental and I'd definitely rent again! 6'0 140 pounds, 34a

This was my first ever rent the runway. I was very excited to receive this dress. I ordered a 4 and a 6. The 4 was unavailable so I wore the 6. It was a little big in the waist but snug in the bust. Probably would not have worn the 4. This is such a classic fit and shape. Plus the pop of color was perfect for our engagement pictures. I love how structured the dress was. It didn't wrinkle during our 3 hours of shooting. I received so many compliments on this. Plus pockets!! Great dress.

This dress runs small. I would have preferred a size 10 but it was not available so I ordered the 8. This dress was actually my back up dress. I ended up wearing the dress because my 1st choice was way too short for a work event. On me this dress was very tight in the bust and I could not wear a bra. It would not zip up with a bra. Other than that the dress fit well. I am tall and the length was perfect. I felt amazing and received so many compliments.

First, the color made the dress. Second, the fabric, although kind of warm, is extremely flattering to any woman's body. Third, how can anyone not love a dress with pockets!?!? I'm 5'2", weigh 135 lbs and wear a 34D. The dress did run small (I'm normally a 6 or 8, and the 8 was tight), especially in the bust, and I ended up going bra-less, but the fabric is thick enough that is was fine (and I never EVER go bra-less). I absolutely loved this dress, but I would recommend ordering the larger of the size you normally wear and getting the size up for your alternate.

This dress is stunning. I rented for a formal wedding over Fourth of July weekend. The material is structured which works well for the hourglass figure. Material may be a tad heavy for the summer, but it wouldn't dissuade me from renting again, as long as you're in the AC! I rented an 8 with 10 as the backup - the 10 was too large up top with a big gap at the arms, so I went with a snug fit on the 8. The dress is a great choice if you have a fuller chest (I'm actually bigger than a 34 D) and a distinct waist. It was great to enjoy the evening without worrying about sucking it in all night! A perfect first experience with RTR!

This dress was AWESOME. I got so many compliments! It was a little big and I probably could have worn an 8 but there wasn't a smaller size available to send, I think so I only had the one choice. It looks short on the model in the photo but I'm 5'4" and it came all the way down to my knees. Overall it was a great experience and I would 100% recommend renting this dress!

The color on this dress is just a gorgeous shade of pink. I found the fit to be a little tight in the chest but true to size everywhere else. I sized up bc of the chest and I thought it still looked great. The pockets are a great addition. The flare around the stomach was a perfect cover for post baby belly. I also could wear a normal bra. It really was just a classic and timeless dress and I got compliments all the night long. The bride at the wedding said "love love love" and I agree.

I ordered a 2 and a 4 and ended up wearing the 2 so it would hug my waist and figure better, since it's not tight around my hips which is usually my problem area. It fit so nicely and flattered all the right places. It runs pretty tight in the bust, but without a bra it fit perfectly. The color is much more pink and bright compared to the stock photo of the dress. The pockets were an added bonus! I got endless compliments the entire night.

Was fitted at the top and flared at the true waist. Was a perfect fit being 4 months pregnant!

Material is heavier than it looks, but has a great shape (especially in skirt). Chest was snug, but not uncomfortably so, you could probably get away with not wearing a bra, but straps definitely won't show with the cut. The color is more pink than it appears in RTR photos, where it looks like a cherry red. The higher waist and flared skirt are very forgiving for hips and thighs, perfect for an hourglass shape. I did notice that the fabric seems to pill pretty easily around the hem and pockets, even are only about 6 hours of wearing. Would definitely rent this dress again for a party, wedding or date night!

I loved this dress. I'm short so it hit below the knee which I thought was awkward at first but actually really liked the way the dress looked and felt throughout the evening. I have wide ribs so I needed to go up a size but the fit generally felt true to size. Great dress. Really loved it.

This dress is adorable and I got a ton of compliments! I typically wear a size 8 clothing, and needed the 10 in this. The top was a bit tight, and the 10 was more comfortable. Very flattering dress for a pear-shape! It was nice and structured; the pleat in the front stayed put all day...hardly wrinkled, and didn't need to steam when it arrived. Could be worn in warmer months too.

I loved this dress, it looked more red in the photo but it is very hot pink. However, I think I loved the pink even more. The full skirt was really flattering, and the pockets made the dress appear really fun! I wish I could wear it over and over!

The fit was true to size. A little snug in the bust I'm a 36 C, didn't have to wear a bra. Hugged my waist, it looked great and the pockets were clutch. I wore to a great Gatsby New Year's Eve party. The color is definitely more hot pink than the model image shows but I loved it! The dress definitely fits tight around the chest area compared to the waist and hips. I sized down to the 4 because it was more flattering to my waist, but it was a bit snug around even my smaller chest; luckily the dress has "bra" built in, so I went without one for the night. Loved the added touch of the pockets and the length was perfect above my knees. Definitely recommend this dress!

I wore this dress to my tea party bridal shower. It was the perfect fit and I got lots of compliments. The dress does a good job of hiding problem areas, but watch your angles when taking pictures. Some side views made me look so unshapely. This was my second time using RTR and I would use it again and again.
