Loved, loved, loved this dress! I rented it for a derby party (see hat) and received tons of compliments. I am a true pear-shape with little bust and big hips. This dress gave me a fabulous bust and hid my hips! How fun for me! Loved the pocket and the pink matched my hat perfectly. I would absolutely rent this dress again. It was so flattering.

The dress fit true to size, however was a little tight across the chest.

This dress was amazing and I got so many compliments on it! I wore it for my 10 year high school reunion and I felt like beautiful in it! I have never gotten so many compliments on a dress before...I will say it is very low cut but it made my cleavage look great, it wasn't slutty looking at all.

This dress has the prettiest neckline - love the square cut and the fun little sleeves. The skirt is full and long, but may overwhelm a smaller frame. The fabric has NO stretch whatsoever (and runs a bit smaller than a typical Kate Spade), so size up for backup.

The dress is perfect for a wedding but does run small in the chest and shows a lot of cleavage.

I wore this to my birthday dinner & drinks on Austin's infamous Rainey Street. I definitely stood out with this dress, and got lots and lots of compliments. I'd recommend not wearing it when it's too hot outside, as it's pretty thick and made me sweaty.

I wore this for an out of town wedding. This was my first rent the runway experience and it was fantastic. The dress is a very classic design, I would call it a "fit and flare", and I loved the fact that it had pockets. For me, I'm 5'7, 150 Lbs and I would normally wear 8-10. This dress fit in the waist in the 10, but I wear a DD bra, so I had to wear the 12 to accommodate the ladies (a curse). I absolutely suggest this dress for someone that enjoys classic design with a rock and roll edge. I paired it with the cleopatra necklace.

This dress was perfect for an evening master's program graduation in DC in May. A slightly heavy cotton in a fun pink animal print paired well with my black pumps and a black fitted sweater when it got too air conditioned inside. The pockets and exposed zipper combined with a slightly low neckline added the sporty chic I was going for. Feminine and easy and just dressy enough to go out for a celebration dinner in our capitol. I would rent this again for other events. Little issue: wear the right bra so it does not show at the edge of the neckline.

I needed something suitable for an informal outdoor wedding. This Kate Spade dress has a lovely fit and flare style that made my waist look slim without binding. The square neckline was a bit lower than expected so i had to wear my lowest cut bra to prevent anything from showing. But that solution worked well and i never felt uncomfortable or exposed. The bright colors on the black background made it easy to accessorize with my black shoes, wrap and purse. The dress traveled well and didn't wrinkle. As for sizing, i usually wear a 4 but the 2 fit best in this case. It fell to just a hint above the knee. And loved it had pockets, too!

I loved this dress and got so many compliments. Everyone loved the pattern which is leopard and not lips like some reviews said. Length was great which is always a concern as I am tall. Very flattering on a pear shaped figure. I would highly recommend!

My dress size ranges from 6-12 depending on the designer and style. I tried this dress on in the NYC showroom in a size 8. It fit very small especially in the chest area but I did like the print and "stepford wife" feel of the dress. The material is like a thicker taffeta and there is no give. So I ordered it in a 10 and 12. The 10 was still very tight in the chest but I was willing to deal with it, however the zipper in the back near my backside started to bunch up, so I wore the 12. It ended up being a little looser around the waist, ribcage and back but it wasn't noticable at all. I recieved a lot of compliments and the pockets were a nice addition. This is a beautiful dress!

The top of the dress is on the small size, i wouldn't recommend this for someone with a large chest. The length was just below the knee, so it's perfect paired with tall heels. The pockets came in handy to carry my cellphone all night. This is the perfect dress!

This was the perfect dress for my annual holiday party...perfect length, if a little tight in the ribcage and chest (and I usually wear a 10 in Kate Spade fit and flare dresses). I loved this one so much I'm tempted to buy it now that it's on sale at Kate Spade, but it's so unique I'd only be able to wear it about once a year for the next few years. But I'd definitely suggest this dress to anyone who is a pear...it is so flattering on.

The dress is lovely for a dressy casual night. Very full skirt & pockets (!). My issue was the bodice fit. I am far from large chested and not particularly conservative when it comes to skin, but the fit is tight and low. It made me fee very exposed all night. Also there seems to be too much dress in the back. As if for a hunchback. All in I felt like the dress belonged in baroque England - very Shakespeare in Love.

Even though most guests wore the typical outdoor wedding dresses - maxi - I felt great in this vintage-y cute dress. The material is sturdy and the shaping holds you in - even if it also pushes "the girls" a bit high and they risk falling out... Loved the colors and pattern and style. Would have preferred to wear high heels so the hemline was more flattering, but with an outdoor wedding on grass, I went for flats for practicality. As other reviewers have said, this isn't for a busty girl - both because it fits tight and it pushes 'em up and out. It took some consistent wrangling to keep them in line, but I didn't mind too much. Skirt was fun to dance in - stayed full-looking all night and twirled delightfully. Glad I got it!

The size (4) was great (my usual size), and the waist was a really flattering (and tight) cut. The pattern was cute too!

True to other reviewers' comments, the dress is def tight in the middle. I have a pear shape so it worked perfectly with my size and the neckline was really chic - and unique. I love Kate Spade. She gets classic right every time. Loved this dress.

The material is so lovely. I dressed it up for dinner with spiky black heels but switched to flats so I could dance my butt off at the concert. I've noticed Kate's sizes vary. Sometimes I'm an 8, sometimes I can barely squeeze into a 12. This 12 ran small, but I still felt great!

I ordered the dress to host a baby shower because I thought it was a fun take on a 50's look. I received many compliments! The one thing I should mention is that it was a bit more low cut in the bust than I thought, and I'm a nursing mom, so that was an issue. It fit snug through the ribcage on me. If you're looking for a fun, flirty look, and don't mind a little cleavage, then this dress is perfect!

The print on this dress is too cute. The full skirt is ultra flattering and it even has pockets! The dress was a little big, but still fitted in the waist area - I would size down unless this is a problem area for you!

Definitely stands out by its color, but the classic cut and accessories balanced it out. The knee length is perfect for formal events where you have to sit and I felt very comfortable overall without always worrying about flashing people. In size 6 the but was tight but nothing bad, however if you're higher than a B cup it could be a problem. The fabric is very nice and I absolutely LOVED the pockets. The only (very minor) complaint that I would have is that the back zipper kept getting stuck in my hair, so maybe better to wear your hair up (but really not a deal breaker even with hair down). In terms of size I am normally a 6, I got the 6 and the 8 and wore the 6. The recommend getting one smaller size but the 4 would definitely have been way too small. Overall a very positive first experience for me with RTR.

The bodice is a little tight, IT HAS POCKETS, and the fit is very flattering. It's a great homecoming dress, even if you dance around a lot like I did. The pockets aren't shallow, so a purse isn't needed.

This dress is good for those pear shaped ladies. It flares at the bottom to hide any issues. It is tighest at the waist and rib cage.

The dress was beautiful and exactly how it is pictured. The lips are such a beautiful color and I truly loved the look of the dress. I paired the dress with black tights, mint heals, Kate Spade Put a Bow On It Drops earrings & a pearl necklace. I loved how the mint shoes really made the pink/magenta/red lips pop. The 4 fit me just fine but it was a little tight in the bust (which is surprising for me, since I don't usually have this problem). The 6 worked perfectly and gave a little of wiggle room for dancing, drink champagne and celebrating the arrival of 2014. I would wear this dress again because it was gorgeous. I loved the slight flair the bottom had AND even better, IT HAS POCKETS! I think it would be a great addition to any Valentines Day celebration as well as formal parties or weddings. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a festive and flirty dress.

I rented the 6 & 8, I wore the 6, didn't even try on the 8. It took a little shimmy to get over the butt, but once its on its perfect. The top fit perfect with my favorite bra (always a plus!) and the bottom had the perfect fair. And it has pockets!! I took my phone and gloss with me, no need to carry a clutch AND cocktail. Its a little longer than I thought, but still amazing for a cocktail party. The cut of the neck and the higher back is fantastic!

RTR overnighted me this dress when the original dress that I ordered did not work. This was a good replacement as it was fun and flirty for a summer city wedding. It does run small so make sure to size up! I had to shimmy my way into the 10. It didn't have a ton of room for my full bust so I felt a little on display all evening, but overall I liked the dress. It has pockets, which was a great place to hide my FitBit during the evening!

I rented this for my friend to surprise her for her Bachelorette party and it was awesome. Renting for someone else is nerve-wracking, lest they not like it or it not fit them. Neither of those happened, it fit her and she loved it and a wonderful time was had by all. Perfect for a bachelorette party girl who loves pink. It seems a little tight in the waist without much give, and the straps might be too long if you're short, but I guess that's always a concern.

I've worn Kate Spade before but this dress runs a bit smaller than her dresses typically do...it was tight around my rib cage and chest. I also had to use fashion tape (which luckily I had from RTR) to keep my bra from showing.. But overall, a great rental.

This dress was really fun and unique. It definitely has a 50s vibe to it with the really full skirt. I found this dress to be really tight in the chest and rib cage. I am normally a size 8/pear shape and don't have issues with this style dress. I was really surprised when the size 10 was so snug up top. Still very flattering.

Fits VERY tight around the middle with little give to the fabric which is helpful for an hourglass effect but also meant that I had to go one size up from what I normally wear and it was still a bit snug in places. Showed a lot of cleavage for a wedding which was ok for me but I don't have that large of a chest so I'd say beware if you are a C cup or above. All around amazing style though and made me feel flirty and pretty all night.

Didn't end up wearing the dress. Not great for large chest (not enough room [32DD++]). Shiny party fabric. Beautiful dress though!

This was a backup dress. It fit well and had a nice shape. It was a little long but I have short legs. Cute dress

The pattern is a bright pink magenta with bright red lips I ordered both the size 4 and the size 6 and ended up wearing the 4 which was a good fit. It does fit quite snug through the ribcage but was a bit big on top, so maybe I could have squeezed into a size 2. Caveat: it is lower cut than you would expect, so have several bra options available. perfect dress for a pear-shape! Would rent it again in a heartbeat. However, the recommended necklace was not a good match.

If you're used to Kate Spade, you know that her dresses tend to run large. I have another dress from this season that I bought in a size 4, so I was sure an 8 or a 10 would fit me. No dice. This dress is GOREGOUS, lovely fabric, wonderful vintage-feeling cut, but I could not zip up the 10 at all, which was too bad. Order a size up, especially if you have a belly or large chest.
