Beautiful classic dress that I would consider buying if I had more formal events to go to! Slightly tight in the bust so may be worth it to size up if you’re larger than a 32B

This dress was fabulous! I loved the simple elegance of the style. I wore this dress to a winter gala and received many compliments. It fit perfectly in the bust area so I did not have to walk around pulling it up all night. The top is father fitted so it did wonders for my waistline.

I felt so elegant in this dress! The fabric is heavy and the embroidery made it a little stiff but in a good way. It was substantial enough that I didn’t need to wear a bra. I knew from previous reviews that this dress would be longer on my petite 5’1” frame than a typical tea length dress should be but I ordered it anyway. Indeed, the hem landed a couple of inches above my ankles but because of the full skirt and the fact that I wore 4 inch heels, it looked appropriate. The torso fit comfortably for the most part though one of the corset ribs started poking into my side by the end of the evening but that may have had more to do with how much I enjoyed the cocktail hour, dinner and dessert(s), lol! I also loved the detail of the exposed gold zipper down the back and the way the embroidered flowers flowed around the side of the dress to the back. It’s always nice when the back of the dress is as pretty as the front. And of course the pockets were very handy, pun intended! It’s hard to find evening dresses that aren’t long and slinky or short, body conscious cocktail dresses, especially when you’re short so this was a great find to stand out from a crowd.

The bodice does fit snug, but it stays in place. I usually wear a size 10 but ordered a size 12, which fit perfectly. If you do not have straight hips, the boning in the bodice might dig into your sides. I solved this with a couple of strategically placed band-aids. It is a high quality dress and the pockets and tea length made the dress so fun to wear. I danced all night without tripping on a hem or pulling up the top. No Spanx necessary with the full lined skirt!

I took my bra off to make room for breathing ha ha. It was tight in the chest and back, but so pretty.

I danced all night in this fun dress. It fit well. I was afraid the waist would be tight but it ended up fitting well. Bra wasn't necessary due to built in lining.

This dress was so fun to wear and i received a lot of compliments. Fits true to size but definitely snug through the chest area. Not unbearable but if I were any fuller in the chest, it would not have worked.

Felt gorgeous in this dress! The detailed embroidery is gorgeous. I lived the fitted top and flared skirt. Didn’t have to worry about any stomach pooch! I’m small in the rib cage and it was a pretty good fit. I would absolutely rent this again. Wish I had more events to wear it!!

This was a backup so I didn't end up wearing to the event, but it's such a pretty, elegant dress. Gives a beautiful shape at the waste. Felt like I might be pulling it up all night since it's strapless. I'm 5'5 and the 4R was the perfect tea length with a heel.

This dress is STUNNING, beautifully made, falls perfectly and made me feel beautiful. The bodice has a bra strap so it stays in place and it has boning. So it will stay put but it also means that it's incredibly structured and tight. I would say if you have a larger bust to size up!

I loved this dress and if I went to more formal events, I would purchase it to have in my closet. I went with the 0R and while it fit perfectly in the waist, the chest was very snug (I'm a 32D) so the zipper slid a bit since there wasn't an eye hook on the dress. I would size up if you have a larger chest, but otherwise this fits TTS. Also, I'm 5'3" and loved the length it hit on me and the pockets.

I was worried about a strapless dress being uncomfortable or forcing me into a night of fidgeting, but it was really perfect. Tight enough to stay up. Well made and nicely detailed. Comfortable and lovely.

I originally ordered a 12R, which is on the bigger end of my size range. I can wear a 10 or a 12 normally. My chest is large (not bust, but chest), and the 12 was way too small in the chest. I couldn't get it zipped. The 14 was out of stock, so I went ahead with a 16R. It fit well enough, the bust was a little roomy, but manageable. I received many compliments! It is a gorgeous dress!

This was my first time renting from RTR and it was perfect. The dress is absolutely beautiful! I was able to dance all night in it and feel comfortable. The fit of the dress was perfect. I'm 5'9 and the dress hit about mid calf. The pockets were a blessing!

Not only was the dress beautiful and substantial, but it fit perfectly. The length was exactly right for my 5 foot tall body. I got more compliments than I ever imagined I would.

I am usually a size 8 but There was only a size 10 left when I ordered the dress. It fit (with room in the bust) but the zipper slipped down a few times during the evening. Thank goodness was for the hook and eye latch at the top of the dress. That’s the only reason it got 4 stars and not 5. Loved it!

I loved this dress. The fabric and fit were great plus it has pockets. The only issue I had is the zipper would constantly slide down. I was able to put a safety pin at the top to prevent slipping and then I was fine.

I wore this to a fancy dinner for a gf's birthday dinner and it was lovely. The top was too big but not so bad that I couldn't wear it. The length was also a bit too long. The embroidered fabric is gorgeous.

I rented this dress and another for a wedding weekend. My plan was to wear this dress for the rehearsal and the other too the wedding. When the “wedding” dress didn’t fit (too long), RTR came through in a big way with replacement dresses. Ok, back to this dress. First of all, it’s a kate spade. I’m not typically a brand snob but wearing such a well know name was a good ego boost. Second, it’s a super quality dress. The weight and construction is incredible. The embroidered flowers are very detailed and make the dress a versatile stunner perfect for any event. It does run small in the chest. I’m currently in a changing body, and wasn’t sure about sizing. I didn’t wear a bra and, due to the heavy fabric, was able to get away with that but I posted a pic kind of from the side so you can see how it flattens you out. Not unflattering I don’t think but something to be aware of. It has pockets and flows beautifully off the hips. I received several compliments. Excited for the other dress tomorrow. I would definitely rent this dress again.

Perfect dress for a Frida Kahlo Gala, received many compliments, well made and stays up all night long. I'm between size 6 and 8 and the 8 fit best.

I wore this dress to a formal Holiday party. I am large chested (36 EE) and the corseted type top held me in tight and was so comfortable. It's a heavy weight fabric but the boning in the corset made it so it wasn't pulling the top down. I received so many compliments!

I'm between 4-6 in dresses and the 6 was huge. The 4 was a bit tight on my chest (34D) and a bit lose on my waist, but a overall a great fit for a rental. Flattering and very comfortable. Many compliments from wedding guests and strangers on the street, fun to dance in! You won't regret renting this dress
