Got lots of compliments when wearing this for a work presentation. I'm usually between a 6 or 8 and the 8 fit great. It was slight big in the chest for me and I'm a 34 D but it wasn't super noticeable

I have a short torso (higher waist) with a ginormous rib cage, and this fit was very flattering. Not a lot of give, but runs pretty true to size. The fabric has a sheen and could definitely be worn for a Spring/Summer event or paired with tights for a Wintery event.

I wore this for a work awards dinner where I was part of the event staff. It was comfortable, cute and appropriate. Looks prettier in person and has a beautiful shimmer to the fabric. It was a bit snug through hips & belly, so definitely size up if you are larger in those areas. One awesome thing about this dress is it has little snaps inside the shoulder straps to secure your bra straps...made it easy to wear a regular bra with out the straps showing.

Love this dress—simple, classy, & comfortable. I ordered a size 4 from RTR and a size 2 from a secondhand app, ended up wearing the 2 (I’m 5”6, 140lbs, 34AA bust, long torso). The bust was too big for me (although the chest felt like it was the same size in both the size 2 and 4), but I’m small-chested anyway. Got away with a push-up bra and good posture;) The fabric is beautiful in person: not too metallic, pink, or flashy.

I wore this for a fancy Galentine's dinner with my best friend! This dress is conservative but flattering - I would say it runs a bi large in the waste. Nice flare, though. The weaving and pattern was more shiny than expected but it was beautiful for a night out!

Flattering and cute. A little tight in the waist for me but not enough to make it unwearable. Only downside was there was no clasp at the top of the zipper so it slipped down a little a few times through the night and had to be readjusted

I can't say that this was my favorite dress; however, the dress is very cute, and the pattern is lovely. I think that it was a flattering fit for my athletic frame; it's very A-Line. The A-line does not show off your body though. The dress was comfortable to wear.

This dress is so beautiful and well made. I got a 6 because the 8 wasn't available, and it worked but I think I would have preferred the 8. It was still comfortable and cute, and I loved the shiny fabric.

Cute little dress! It was slightly tight on the rib cage, with no give in the fabric. The pattern is shinier in person than it appears in the pictures. Short but not inappropriately so on a 5'10" frame.

This outfit was so great for work. Paired with a long cardigan and black heels I felt like a super model. Really unique and comfortable. The way the dress is hemmed makes your waistline really flattering

This dress was INCREDIBLE for a fancier rehearsal dinner. I have a longer torso and wider ribcage so I could have gone with the 10 in that aspect but every other part of the 8 fit great. I was nervous about the shoulder cuts but it worked amazingly for a more athletic build. I cannot rave enough about this dress! In pictures I thought it was a navy base but it's actually black.

Loved the material - thicker quality! The print was beautiful - has a nice sparkle to it without being overly sparkly. The only challenge with the dress was that it was a little big in the chest. Would rent again!

This dress is really a must-rent! The cut is classic and flattering and the fabric is really luxe and unique. I ended up finding a great deal on this dress after renting, so now I own it! I initially wore to an office Holiday Party and another time to work on a regular day by layering a cardigan over it. It is shiny, so it might be a bit much for some events/workplaces. I wore this dress to a mendhi (henna) party the night before a wedding and it was perfect. Traditional dress wasn't appropriate for me, but this tapestry gave a little nod to tradition. A line is extremely flattering. I am large on top and the size 12 fit me very well. There is no stretch to this fabric so you have to pick the right size. I got compliments on this all night and I felt beautiful wearing this lovely dress.

Super pretty. Probably could have worn a 14 but the fabric doesn't stretch so I am glad I went up.

Absolutely stunning fabric and loved that you could dress it up or down. The only thing it was missing was a belt and pockets but I just put a skinny metallic belt with it. Adored it though and it runs true to size.

This dress worked perfectly for our office Christmas party. Material is thick, length appropriate and has a bit of shine to it to make it feel festive. Fit nicely for my pear shape although definitely needed a little extra bust to fill it out completely ( I usually do...hello bombshell bra!) The bra strap clips are a nice touch, I just wish this had pockets like other Kate Spade dresses.

It was true to size for me. Would for sure order this again. It would make for a very cute new years eve dress.

Rented this dress for a few holiday parties- the print is beautiful and festive, and the dress fit true to size. This dress would probably work best for ladies with larger busts and an hourglass shape given the way it's cut. The brocade print has some sparkle and shine, if that's what you're looking for!

When I first put this dress on I was not looking in a mirror. I told my boyfriend I didn't even care what it looked like, because it felt so great. I wore it for a photo shoot at a work event, where I also did a TV interview. The gorgeous fabric was perfect for the "kicking off the holiday season" theme and the fit was great; not too short and flattering without being tight. I loved this dress!

Rented for a formal affair and couldn't have been more pleased! Classic, cute and perfect fit. Just the right amount of sparkle. I'm 5'3" and 110# and the 0 was just right. My BF loved this one and said it was his RTR favorite.

I tried one photo with flash (and heels) and one without (and flats) to try to capture all the beauty of this dress. It's very shimmery but not so much that it makes it less sophisticated. I wore it with the flats since it was raining out to dinner. My only complaint is that it has absolutely no stretch. I almost sized up to the 6 but it would have looked baggy when standing. It has plenty of room in the chest which I definitely don't need but it wasn't uncomfortably large up there. Overall a very lovely dress

Another great kate spade. Couple of things to note - it is sparkly so be aware of that. Second i wore a strapless bra because even with the clips my bra straps still showed. Rented for work but could easily go out for dinner in it. Good length - will definitely rent again
