This is a great dress for all occasions. I chose to dress it down a bit with knee-high riding boots, but it would also look quite lovely with heels. I did need to pin the chest closed, or party guests would've gotten quite a show. I was able to wear normal undergarments- nothing special or complicated needed. There were snaps to help keep the wrap wrapped, but nothing to keep it closed when sitting with my legs crossed. Not a problem, just something to be aware of. The dress was an awesome silky fabric- super soft against the skin. I would definitely rent this again!!

This dress was super cute and comfortable. I wore it to a work event - conservative enough for work with an appropriate length. Although there was a clasp at the chest I chose to wore a nude cami underneath since it was still a little low cut. Great fabric & ruffle detail. I found it fit true to size. Will definitely rent again!

I wore this dress to my baby's baptism. My church is more casual so I wanted something pretty, but not overly dressy, that I could wear all day. This dress was awesome! Im currently between a 4 and a 6 and am still learning how to dress my post baby body. The closures throughout the dress kept me covered and it was fitted in the top, but loose enough on the bottom to hide my flaws. The material was soft and made the dress really comfortable. I thought it was very flattering for my figure and was easy to wear the whole day. I absolutely loved this dress and wish I could have kept it! Big thanks to RTR for making my first rental experience absolutely amazing. Can't wait to rent my next dress!

I rented this dress for an engagement party and was very happy with it. The dress was very classy but the ruffles made it fun and flirty. Great balance. My only complaint is that there was nothing to fasten the front bottom hem -- I wore it to an outdoor party and the first strong breeze was almost disaster! Fortunately the hostess had a safety pin -- one quick pin and the problem was solved!

I wore this for my high school reunion party - and it was a perfect dress for the occasion. It's well made - and has lots of snaps/hooks to keep everything in place. The ruffles fall nicely along the neckline. It was a perfect length on me - but would be a little longer on girls on the shorter side. I'd go up a size for your back-up - it was a little tight in my rib cage area, but the 8 would have been too big.

This is the perfect dress for a springtime party. True confession: I wore this to work one Friday AND to my husband's surprise party on the weekend. The dress worked perfectly for both occasions. It's a modest, sophisticated cut that ensures you won't be tugging or pulling to keep legs or bust covered. If you're looking for something with some more oomph or sex appeal this might not be the best choice. If however, you're looking for lady-like and feminine lines this is ideal. A few notes: the tie around the waist is quite long, which is preferable to short. It was just about knee length on me (at 5'4) so not quite as short as it appears on the model. Well made construction, with buttons and snaps on the inside to keep everything connected. i also appreciated that the ruffles on the neckline didn't lie strangely, as lesser-quality dresses sometimes do. This is the type of dress I probably should buy, as I can see myself wearing it again and again for years to come!

As others have mentioned, I love that there are snaps and hooks that keep the dress in place so you don't have to worry that it's a "wrap" dress and the bow might come loose. The print and material are beautiful and comfortable. For someone like me who is pear shaped it's great because you can tie in at your waist (my smallest part) and there is plenty of room in the hips. I wore it to a Bar Mitzvah and it was great to feel covered up during the service and fun and flirty enough for the party! I would definitely rent this dress again.

This dress would work perfectly for either a cocktail party or an everyday sundress! Its fun pattern was perfect for my summer party. It is so lightweight and flattering. It does run a little small in the bust and waist though, so I would suggest going up a size! I definitely recommend this to anyone with a summer event coming up!

Such a great and comfortable dress. It fit perfect. You have to pay attention when you put it on to make sure you snap all the necessary places so that it doesn't open up on you. But, once you do that - it looks great! I got lots of compliments on it. I would definitely rent again. It was perfect for the boat party I was at, but would also wear it to any party.

I was struggling to find a dress that would be flattering after having my daughter 8 weeks ago, and after reading some reviews I decided on this Kate Spade wrap dress. It was perfect! The wrap style was incredibly flattering and helped ease insecurities about my post-baby body. It was so comfortable and easy to dance in. I wore this to an afternoon summer wedding and received many compliments. I would recommend this dress to anyone, but especially those ladies looking to find something that will be flattering after-baby!

Overall I thought this dress was very flattering and comfortable! I have wide shoulders and a long torso and the chest clasp hit at a weird spot but I just opened it up and wore an undershirt and problem solved!!

I ordered a Size 10 and a 12. The 10 fit better, but the clasp for the chest area was completely missing on that one, so I wore the 12. Other reviewers seem to have had a similar issue, and for this dress, you have to have that clasp or else you'll need to do some safety pinning. Other than that, I was really happy with it - it was a gorgeous dress, very comfortable and a good length for someone tall.

The clasp was broken for the chest area. Which was def needed because it was way too low cut. So I had to use a safety pin and some double sided tape which ended up being fine. But a very cute look! Got lots of compliments on this dress and was comfortable which is a bonus!

I had a great day in this dress! I had so many compliments but the best part was being so comfortable! The dress fit well, I normally wear a six in dresses but had to go with the eight because of the snaps (which keep the dress in place). One note of advice - If you are planning on wearing it outside on a windy day - plan on pinning it!

Although I loved this dress (and the wrap was perfect for 6 weeks postpartum), neither size I ordered had all three fasteners. One size was missing the one at the bust, and the other was missing the one at the waist. RTR needs better quality control.

I wore this dress for a work party where I wanted to be dressy but not too formal. The dress fit well however I do think I could have went down a side (instead of up a size like other reviews suggested) due to the dress being a wrap dress and having a lot of loose material. This dress came to the top of my knee and I used double sided tape to ensure the neckline didn't show too much (not in this picture though- this picture was taken the next day since I forgot to get a picture the day of!). I tried to wear a sweater with it since it's chilly outside but it took away from the dress. I wore gold earrings and nude wedges.

This dress is really cute. I love the pattern, and there are several snaps and hooks so you don't have to worry too much about it unraveling like some wrap dresses. I wore it to a friend's bridal shower and got many compliments! It was a little snug around the waist, so I'd order a bigger size as a back up.

The dress was a bit big on top. When I received it, the top clasp was broken so I had to pin it. I ended up throwing a sweater on to keep it from showing my cleavage. Overall the fabric is soft and comfortable, and the colors are great.

Overall I really liked the dress, in person. When looking through photos, I didn't find it that flattering. This could be because I ordered the 12 (normally I am a 12-14) based on the reviews AND IT WAS HUGE. I didn't order the extra size because I thought there would be no way a 10 would fit, haha! I ended up having to pin the dress and pull the wrap extra tight to give myself some shape. It was very comfortable and I did receive a lot of compliments but I don't know that I would rent this dress again. Also, I recommend wearing a cami underneath, I found this dress to be very low cut and not how it looks on the model in the photo.

I thought a simple wrap dress would be great for a 4:30pm outdoor wedding, but not this dress. It is a silk dress and high quality material, but it was just blah. I am a size six, but in the picture you can see how unflattering the dress is on me. I found the stitch to hook the chest, but you do have to look for it. The waist is a bit high and tight, but it is not an empire dress. Maybe you could wear this dress to church. I am glad I do not own.

I wore this dress for a work event and it was perfect. It ran true to size and the length was perfect for me. I loved all the ruffles. The only thing I had to do was use a safety pin to pin the top a touch so that I could minimize the amount cleavage. I normally wouldn't have done it, but for work I felt it was more appropriate.

I was eyeing this dress for awhile and was happy to try out RTR for a work function. The dress pattern was prettier in person and not as busy as the model picture. I didn't even bother to try on the 4, I liked the way the 2 fit. The dress had tons of snaps to help the dress lay correctly. It was fitted at my waist / under my bra line but not to the point of being uncomfortable. The length was appropriate for the function, because it was for a school event I put a tank underneath. If I was wearing this for a bridal shower I would have ditched the tank. Would recommend this for a number of functions.

Felt so pretty for my daughter's baptism! Very church and age appropriate but still fun to wear. Be warned-it's a true wrap but there are some snaps to help you.

I wore this 7.5 months pregnant to my baby shower! I wore the 10 and needed the extra room in the belly. I would recommend wearing a slip underneath no matter what just because it's very silky and can blow open. I would say this is bump friendly- just order one size up from what you normally wear.
