I made the straps super long and had the ruffle just over my bust line, which ended up being the best fit for me and my long torso. The dress is a little weird, but it's nice to see experiment with a unique cut and fit from RTR. Light and unlined, it feels youthful and energetic!

The fit was not great (super loose in the stomach, tight on the hips) - but the bold pattern hid any issues. I got so many compliments! The material is also super thin - but that did not bother me.

I loved the print and color IRL. Fit was a bit weird there is a lot of draping in the boob area and it hits low on the waist but when you step back it's very beautiful!

I wanted to love this dress but the fit was off. The fabric does not stretch at all. It was super tight around my hips (and i have small hips) forcing the fabric to bunch because I couldn't pull it down. Maybe sizing up would help? That said, color was so pretty and it would be great for summer since it's so lightweight.

I knew when I rented it that the fit might not be ideal for my body type but that I'd try it out because I am petite. I had to kind of since the waist up so that it fit better around my hips. Not good even if your even slightly curvy

I love this dress but will size up next time. It's super light and perfect for a hot summer day. I wore it to work with a jean jacket and white wrap heels and then wore it over the weekend with white sneakers. I have hips and a butt so it was a bit tight around that region. Additionally it drops a bit in the back so a bit hard to wear a bra and it was a bit tight around rib cage so I just folded under the extra fabric.

I loved the back of the dress and the way the top fit.

I love this dress! The fabric, style, everything except one thing... it is too tight around my hips (and baggier at my waist) so it sits up high (I belted it to hide the foldover). So it is beautiful, but if you have hips, this may not be perfect for you. Also... size up!! I went up a size and it still didn't fit my hips, although the waist was large so if you are straight and thin then maybe don't size up.

Super adorable dress. I loved the bold print and that the straps were adjustable. The only thing is that it runs VERY small. I normally wear a size 4, so I originally tried the size 1, but I couldn't get it over my hips at all. Sized up to a 3 and it fit perfectly. Size up and you will love this dress!

Cute dress, but smaller than expected.

Loved the color - it definitely gets you noticed. But the cut is really weird! Tight around the very top of the zipper and bust (and I'm an A cup!) but then oddly wide in the torso fabric. Then the hips are back to super tight, but flowy on the bottom. The silk and the pattern make it look very nice in person too. Guess you have to have zero ass for this to hang properly. I mean, I still wore it! Just didn't like it enough to take a pic in it!

Dress is very cute and quality of the dress is good. I sized up (typically a medium but got the equivalent of a large) because a lot of reviews said it was very tight throughout the hips. Even sizing up I still had a huge struggle getting the fabric over my hips!! I ended up tucking in the extra fabric and it actually worked/looked okay. Overall love this dress but the fit isn't right if you have any hips at all.

This dress was beautiful but left little room for any curves. Ultimately did not wear it.

Very weirdly tight in the hips due to two lines of stitching down the front and back of the dress that don't need to be there and makes the fabric weirdly bunch up? It's strange because the dress has plenty of room and should fit but something with the hips keeps it from happening. Will likely size up and try again but I fear then it will be too big

Unfortunately this dress didn't work for me. I am 5'10" 140 pounds for reference and sized up. This dress was very tight in the hips and I was hoping for it to hang more and be flowy. I believe you need to have a straight figure to make this dress work.

This is very pretty fabric and the print is lovely but the fabric pooled above my hips because it is cut narrowly (or maybe just completely straight) through the hips. Size up if you have hips!

I'm between a size 2 and 4, so I went up to a size 1 with this dress. I'm not that hippy and I can't even pull the dress down over my hips. I imagine I need to go up an additional size or 2! The odd thing is is that there is a ton of space up top. So size 1 is perfect if you have a long torso and super slim hips. Interested to see if this dress works for anyone else. Had to send it back without wearing.

Even though I sized up, based on other reviews, the dress is too tight in the hips. The fit is not proportional. Way too big on top, and strained at hip. Did not wear.

I was so excited to get this dress in the mail! I sized up based on reviews, too. Thank god this came early and I had time to swap for a different dress because I don't think any size would work for me! I am typically a 4 in dresses, so I ordered sizes 1R and 2R. I got the 1R on and it fit everywhere except the hip area was SUPER tight. The 2R was huge everywhere but still tight in the hips, making both sizes unwearable. I would only suggest someone wear this if they are tall and very narrow. I've never worn anything else by this brand, but they got the fit so wrong on this one. I think it could have been beautiful if I could have worn it. Over-all would not recommend.

The fit didnt work for me. tight in the legs and big in the belly. Almost felt like someone pregnant wore it and stretched it out

RTR is not to blame for no one being able to wear this dress. It's so cute and looks amazing on the model. I am a pear shape so I always rent dresses that are more free flowing below the waist and I size based on my upper half basically. Unless reviews prove for me to do otherwise. Unfortunately when I rented this dress there were not yet reviews. Before my dress shipped some reviews were in and I kept up with them seeing the dress runs VERY small. I typically wear a 4 or 6 when renting so naturally I got the sizes 1 & 2 (4-6 & 6-8). After reading the reviews I quickly changed my order to sizes 2 & 3 (8-10). STILL much too small. I could put it on and zip it but it did not hit right on my body and then the top was too loose. Basically not meant for my body type. If you are thin all over this would be great for you (but you should still size up). I blame the designer for the sizing so no hard feelings because RTR is amazing and rushed me two replacements, both of which I loved! One last tid bit, the dress is tissue thin and I don't think I would have been comfortable anyway. It's a gorgeous dress, just rent cautiously!

Just like the other reviews mention... this dress is a bit awkward. It's a beautiful fabric and very light weight but the construction of it and how it falls in the torso region wasn't doing me any favors. It just bubbled and couldn't get it to lay flat. Made me look pregnant in a way.

Cute dress but hips are extremely narrow. The dress is cut completely wrong making it impossible to wear unless you have zero hips/butt.

Listen to the other reviews and don't order! I even went up two sizes, wearing the 3 (I'm usually a 4). Very tight in the hips, loose everywhere else. Not worth it.

Have you agree with everyone else in the reviews -- I usually wear a size 0-2, jeans size 25. but could not get this dress over my butt! Sad because it is otherwise beautiful.

The material was SUPER flimsy and thin...because of the low back, I would have worn this without a bra, but it would have been too sheer to do so.

The fit was very tight around the hips. I am 5'8 and 145 and both the 1R and 2R were too small in the hips with lots of room in the chest.
