As other reviewers have noted, it's a lot more sheet than expected. However, the folds of fabric and the pattern make the sheer-ness a non-issue in my opinion. I got lots of compliments and it fit great!

I rented this for an outdoor wedding at a botanical garden. It fit really well and was comfy, but is a little big in the chest. The straps are not adjustable and they leave a little gap by the side-boob. If you can size down I would...there are no zippers or "fitted" parts of this dress so it can stretch to your size. Got a lot of compliments and really fun to dance and twirl in!

I loved the fabric, it was light and breezy for a hot summer wedding (cropped out my sweaty and shiny face!). There is an elastic type waist so it's moveable and not form fitting and could have certainly sized down from what I ordered. The top part is sheer, but I wore a nude bra and you couldn't even tell. The bottom has a shorter skirt underneath and there is dark paneling that shows off your legs. It's classy and elegant but sexy as well!

This was one of the best dresses I’ve ever worn—bright, flattering, and dynamic. I felt incredibly confident wearing it, especially dancing—all the pleated fabric swishes around and twirls nicely. The sheer panels were both subtly sexy and a lifesaver for a warm afternoon. Was sorry to send it back! Tip: the straps are not adjustable, but I safety pinned them to my bra and it worked great. Peace of mind, no fidgeting.

Beautiful fit, stretchy in the mid and very forgiving. I am usually a 10/12, and I squeezed easily into a 2R (with a 3R backup). The dress is sheer but elegant and classy. Would rent again for a wedding or formal event.

I absolutely loved this dress, it was feminine and floral. The fabric was dreamy. One issue is the top part was 100% see thru! But you should be creative, I added a black lace dress I owned underneath and it was even cooler of a dress that before! You can wear a camy, a bralet, anything but I would advise you to think about that before renting as a normal bra will not do! If you go braless than that's a different kind of party!

Vibrant colors, in great condition. Bows on the shoulder are cute details, but non adjustable. The top is a little big, but there's lots of wiggle room in the elastic waist so size down. The top isn't lined, so expect to wear a nude colored bra.

I love this dress. It feels like it was made for my body. I didn't want to take it off. It's forgiving, with an elastic waistband. Perfect fit. Loose and Flowy.

This dress is gorgeous and flattering. And it is so comfortable! I have pretty long legs so it was a little scandalous in the sheer pieces if I bent over but otherwise it was perfect. Fit true to size. Could be dressed up with heels or dressed down with sandals and a jean jacket.

This dress was unexpected. It does have some sheer panels so shows your legs but in a discreet way. (Sheer panels circled in my photo). I got it to wear to work and an event after work, but it was not appropriate to wear to work. I wore it to a friend's birthday dinner and got a ton of complements. Felt it was flattering and fun!

The dress is beautiful! It runs a little large . A little difficult to wear a bra with , but had to because the top is sheer . It was very appropriate for an evening outside summer wedding !

I have been coveting this dress on RTR for months now and it just happened to be available when I needed a backup dress (the one I originally ordered wasn't available to ship last minute). I am SO happy I got it. The fit was great, tastefully low cut, and the silk/pattern was just beautiful. I really think the pictures don't even do it justice. The top and bottom (from above the knee down) are sheer, but I wore a black bra and black tights underneath, which did the trick. I think a black or nude slip would have also worked. I felt like a million bucks in this dress and will definitely order it again!

Runs a little large. I generally wear size 6 or 8, tried the equivalent sizes, and the 8 was way too big. Definitely go for the size at the lower end of your range.

Was extremely comfortable! Not tight or pulling anywhere, loose flattering fit. Excellent dresss that can be dressed up or down with shoes and jewelry. Wish I had it in multiple colors to wear again! Loved it!

was the perfect dress for an outdoor wedding! it is sheer at the top, but I just wore a black strapless bra. So flowy and fun for dancing. It is longer, so shorter girls watch out! The elastic waist also made it super easy and comfortable all night long.

I'm tall and leggy and finding a dress that fits me can be hard. I loved the length & neckline of this dress, and the colors were truly gorgeous. The only downside: the top is truly see through (as other reviewers have said) and I didn't put in the effort to find a bra that would work with it, so I went without one which was not the most conservative option...but I felt glamorous and loved it!

I absolutely loved this dress and wish I could buy it. I dressed it up with a belt and wore a black tank top underneath because the top is transparent.

Beautiful fit with a flowing skirt

More people should rent this dress. It's everything I wanted in a fun Spring party dress. I think it's completely work-party appropriate, I wore it to a wedding and my husband's birthday celebration. The colors are fantastic, and the details are so fun.

The dress is flowy & garden chic. Wore it to a bridal shower. Maybe a tad too big on top if I owned it, I probably would have it altered.

This was a bit large so I had room in the chest and lots of extra fabric in the hips. Good for broad shoulders though and looked cute because it is designed to be flowy. I liked the print and color a lot.

Gorgeous floral pattern, romantic but still hip. Loved the handkerchief hemline and gauzy material. Top was big but the real problem was the straps, they drove me crazy falling down. They look like they're tied on the top but it's faux, which is too bad because adjustable straps would have solved everything. Still interested to try other pieces by this designer, something about this dress just felt really special and unique.

I rented this dress for a wedding 8 weeks after having my son. It was perfect for my postpartum body, hiding my tummy and legs but leaving room in the top for my boobs. The top was maybe a little too big or low cut so I couldn't waste any time between pumping. The material is see through but I wore a nude bra and spanx and everything was fine. Overall, it's a gorgeous dress and I got a ton of complements.

This is a really pretty, chic dress -- beware - it IS completely see through on the top. Absolutely positively. Luckily I had a sheer pink tank that worked with a nude strapless bra, but even then, I wouldn't want to be inspected in the light!

Too sheer- needed full slip

Fits and flows like a dream. Yes it is shear so a simple nude slip would still give the illusion just a little more modestly. I loved this dress and I hate that is was not for my body type. I have a heart shaped figure larger in the shoulders and chest so the fit of the sleeves just did not do it for me something was off. If you wants a gorgeous spring/summer dress that will have you spinning around to make it flow then yes rent this dress. Also the style would be great for baby bumps.

I was so excited to wear this dress to a party and when I got realized there is no slip that comes with it. It is completely see thru on top and there is a thing short layer on the bottom. Bummed to have wasted a rental. If you have a good full slip it could work but still not sure it would go with the dress. Be warned

Awful. It's sheer on top. And it doesn't look good with a cami.
