It was a little big at the waist/chest area for me although most people didn't notice that. The velour and lace accents were gorgeous. A really different dress. Attracts attention as a fun classy casual dress. Very nice quality and comfortable.

Considered wearing this for Halloween - it looks quite witchy. A frumpy fit - it was big on top and too long for my torso. Nice details (velvet edging) but not something I'd rent again.

Definitely a high quality dress and loved the velvet accents, but ended up looking very frumpy on my body type because the cinched waist hit too low, and almost costumey with the red dots and lace.

I was looking forward to this gothic style dress, but it did not fit well. As you can see in the photo, it was loose above the waist and wasn't flattering at all. Unfortunately this is going to be returned. I also noticed that the design is slightly different than the one on the model. The sleeves have thicker velvet cuffs and no zipper in the back.

Loved wearing this dress - fit a tad large in the top but snug in the waist. Would be great around the holidays for parties, or to wear to a more formal office. Very high quality material.

Great dress with many beautiful details that the photo doesn't do it justice for. Very great quality fabric. I would have kept it longer, but the zipper was a little sticky. Also something to note is that this dress seems to have kind of a low waistline to it.

Fits true to size, flattering for a straight and narrow body type.

I liked this dress actually more than the picture! It wasn't anything out of this world, but it was a touch different for work which was nice. The only reason I didn't give it 5 starts is because the top button didn't want to be closed...

I was the first to wear this Kooples dress, so that was a ton of fun! I have rented a Kooples dress before in Medium which was very small on my bust (34D) but the ribbon from the neck that tied always covered the gaping hole. It was also a little tight on my arms but fit my torso perfectly and the length was also stellar. I decided to size up to a Large for this one since nothing could hide the gaping hole if it was too small on my chest, and I'm very glad I did. It fits my bust perfectly, and the Large is still pretty tight, nearly uncomfortably so, and the waist and length of dress are perfect. I have a very small natural waist for how curvy I am, and it fits perfectly around it, and given the tightness of the arms, I'd definitely say this dress runs small. Since I'm likely the first or one of the first reviewers, just want to give that heads up. That being said, would rent again in a heartbeat. It's well-made, love the velvet accents at the wrists and along the closure of the dress at the chest and at the waist. The ruffles make it a three textured look which is so much fun. Surprised the dress did NOT contain pockets, but overall, I very much love this dress and I'm glad I rented it. Kooples does not disappoint.

The dress is OK, details are fun and muted colors keep it from going too costumey. Fitted om the arms and if you have a large chest can be tight/slight gap between buttons. Needed tights for the length to be work appropriate. Fine for unlimited but wouldnt re-rent it.

I've been using RTR for years, and I do believe this is the only dress I've felt looked prettier in the pictures. I didn't end up wearing it because it was too tight across the chest. It's a unique piece, but left me feeling uninspired.

I rented this for work and I just looked like the queen of England in this. Did not end up wearing, shipped it right back.

I was swimming in this dress so I couldn't wear it Also was a little warmer outside for this piece It is thicker and has a velvet like texture too which would be good for colder months with tights The color also was a more deep than expected

I did not even up wearing this dress, it was not flattering. The band at the waste is not tight enough and the whole dress just was just swimming on me.

Medium was way too big-hung in me and didn't accentuate my figure at all. Felt like I was playing dress up from my moms closet circa 1980.

I didn't realize on the model, that it gives her fuller hips. I ordered the size L and am a typical 10/12, it was true to size, but just not super flattering. The sleeves are different than they are on the model, with a full cuff, which wasn't an issue, just thought it should be mentioned. I think this could look super cute on, it just wasn't for me.

This dress was my dream style, I loved the design and quality so much. I especially loved the black velvet trim. Perfect for the family holiday party. Too bad that it was completely unwearable due to very poor fit. I am usually a size 10, sometimes an 8. I have an inverted triangle, athletic body shape. This was extremely small in the arms, shoulders and waist. I rented the L, and it was sized to fit a size 6. If you are small, size up and enjoy!
