This dress is pretty cute - I like the pleat and lace details, and I do like the babydoll shape, but beware that while the waist appears to have a shape, it is a bit of an illusion. It is not fitted on top or bottom or at the waist, so if that's something you are looking for this is probably not for you. But it's cute and comfortable for work or the weekend.

I really liked this dress, the sleeve has a strip of lace, which is really pretty and unexpected! I wore the large, which was a little big, since im not very chesty, im guessing if you have a bigger bust it might be a better fit. If you are pear, and between sizes, i would consider sizing down.

I wore the collar buttoned all the way up for our thanksgiving meal. This did the trick for my Plymouth-inspired attire! Will rent again!! I freaking love The Kooples.

I wore this dress probably 6 times. Daytime work as well as evening work dinners. It's adorable but has some edge due to the lace sleeves. Perfect length, not too tight through the waist (so I could eat in it!) and doesn't wrinkle. Perfect for a work trip!

I was excited to try a collared work dress, and this was the first one I've found that I actually wanted to wear out of the house. I paired it with a fitted blazer and grey heels for a court hearing (I'm an attorney) and a day at the office. It was a hit among my colleagues and I got many compliments! My only complaint is that the waistband was rather loose (not helping emphasize my waistline), while the bust area was very tight. Sorry for the awkward bathroom mirror selfie, but hopefully you can see the pulling at the bust. This might be better on someone with a smaller bust. But overall, very happy I tried it!

Rented as part of the 3 for 1 sale so I only had one size. No reviews online when I ordered so i thought I'd play it safe and order up (usually wear a 4-6). Well, picture is not flattering at all and does the dress no justice,but you can tell that if fit very loose. The waist was big and the sleeves long (but cute with the lace insets). The waist fell a little high, so I went with it and considered it almost a babydoll dress. Very comfy, appropiate for work, just not the fitted dress I expected.

Versatile dress I wore in the day and for a party at night. Paired with a grey fur vest and was a hit! Comfortable fit and fun style.

The dress fit me comfortably and was easy to layer for warmth or just because. I was a little concerned that there would be gapping at my bust, but the dress buttoned easily and didn't look like it was fighting to stay closed.

It's a little bit short but I wore it with black tights and it's so cute! Looks adorable buttoned up all the way or open with a cami under it.

I'm a size 2 and the XS was too big in the waist - size down for sure! I fixed it by belting it and wearing a black cardigan so still got plenty of good use out of it for work. You can't really see in the pictures, but there's a lace detail along the sleeves that's open and changed the feel of it a bit - I didn't really like it but it wasn't an issue since I wore it with a black cardigan that covered the sleeves, but I would probably only rent it again in winter. My co-worker said I looked like "Wednesday Adams goes to work" while wearing it with the black cardigan and black tights, but I was for it!

Lovely fabric that looks light and airy, but has the weight and heft to also be professional. Lace details on the arms are fantastic!

This dress does run really large - I wear a medium (6) normally and when it arrived I thought I was sent the wrong size by accident. I exchanged for a small and that one fit a lot better, although it was still a little big in the waist and I might have needed an XS even. Overall though, I got a lot of compliments on this dress at work, and really loved the lace detailing on the sleeves.

I love the design of this dress. It was a lot: lace, polka dots, white collar. I even wite it with a tie. But deslitenthe cuteness the fit eas off. There is no side zipper and it skips over your head so waist isnt very fitted. Also the fabric does NOT breath. Definitely can only wear in winter

The dress was a little difficult to get on; the buttons are small and not easy to loosen. After getting it on love the fit and got several complements.

I did feel like the waist was a little high from my natural waist so was glad I rented for unlimited -- definitely one of the bonuses -- trying all kinds of clothes. It was very comfortable and cute - loved the lace on the sleeves. However, I was swimming in it! I wore it to a Thanksgiving dinner, so it fit the part perfectly. The look was right and it was so loose, I could eat seconds and not bat an eye :-)

The dress is lovely, good lining and material. I️ am 5'4 and it comes down to my knee. It has a pretty loose fit and isn't tight even at an XS size.

It's hard to tell from photos but there is a lace that runs along the arm that is a bit odd. That said, it looked great on with a blazer over top.

Great details (sleeves have lace) and the quality is very good, but the dress runs big. I am usually and XS, but this dress was so big I could not even make it work by using a belt. Perhaps if you are tall it works better.

I wanted to love this but it overwhelmed my 5ft frame. It would have been okay if shorter but it came almost below my knees and I don't think a size down would solve that problem. If you're taller though I'd go for it.

I will start by saying I got many compliments on this dress. The polkadots and white collar detail are fun. That said, I was disappointed by the overall fit which is slouchy but doesn't look intentional. Not a slimming look.

The lace on the sleeves look as lumpy as they do in the photos. The fabric is fine, lightweight, feels synthetic. I'll be able to wear this to work, but it doesn't feel special.

Okay, so the thing you need to know about this dress is that it is NOT supposed to be super flattering. It is for an impossibly cool, Alexa-Chung-type lady. The waist hangs loose and low, it is supposed to give a cool, gamine attitude. However, I am 5'2", so even the XS just makes me look like an actual child whose mom bought her too big of a dress. If you're tall enough, you could probably belt it and it would look nice enough. (Or maybe I'm wrong about all of that and the sizing is just insanely off.)
