A very flattering dress perfect for work. The arm holes go down a bit low on the side and those with a large chest should size up. Dressed down with a denim jacket and flats bt could definitely dress up with a blazer and heels

I loved this dress so much I had to buy it. On a short person like me, it hits at the perfect length to be a trendy-but-conservative chic piece. I have a short torso, but the cinched waist falls in just the right spot. The only bummer about the dress is how the navy vest area can look ill-fitting and slouchy if I'm not standing completely straight. I think however it would fit perfectly on someone that's slightly taller than I am. I am petite with not much boob area going on, so the boyish cut works for me.

This dress is great for work. It's light and a great length. The arm holes are a little big but I just wore a coobie with it and it's perfect.

Cute dress for me to wear to work as a teacher. Got lots of complements. Bra does show on sides but black blended in well enough. Medium fit loose on me even this I'm an 8.

I wore this to work and liked it so much that I saved it to wear to a Broadway show later in the week. As other reviewers mentioned, the arm holes are low, so its best to wear a tank top underneath. The arm holes make the fabric fall so it covers the triceps and has a bit of an arm-slimming effect. I also liked the waist-- it tapers in, but wasn't tight. Very comfortable dress.

Great dress for work... if you have a cami. The white "shirt" is only in front. Without something underneath your whole body would show through the wide arm hole. So many compliments on this today from coworkers and hubby ;-)

This dress is super cute. The bottom of it flares out in a flattering and flirty manner. It's long enough for work and gives off slight prep school vibes. The one thing to note is that the arm holes are cut pretty deep, so your bra (or worse, side boob) will definitely be visible! So I worse a blazer over this to make it work appropriate. I'm small cheated so it was too large in the bust area but perhaps it would be perfect for someone not of my frame.

I really love this dress and how the sides were cut very low so if I did wear it without a bra you could see some side boob. The material was heavy and well-tailored which is a thumbs up in my book. Instead of dressing it up and wearing it to work, I decided to dress it down and wear it to a concert. It was just a little short. It fit perfectly on top, but I would of sized up just to get more length. I wear typically a 6/8 on top sometimes 10 on bottom because I am hippy with a butt.

This dress is comfortable and super cute. The detailing around the waist is very flattering. I really love the preppy look. I wore the dress with the white sneakers in this picture, but it looked equally as cute with heels. However, the top is huge and gaps. (I am a 34D.) I had to safety pin the top to make it lay semi-flat. Also, as the other reviews say, if you want to wear this to work, you need a cami under because the arm wholes fall well below the bra line. Overall, the dress is cute, preppy, and comfortable, but the fit brings down the rating.

This is a very simple but cute dress. It is very roomy and comfortable. The dress is mostly fitted in the waist, but even that section is comfortable. I love the flowy look. Standard under garments are perfectly fine. There is a lot of room in the bust, so if you are busty, this dress will be just fine! This look is nice for work.

Cute dress but it showed side boob/bra so I would up not wearing it. Also like others said the top is kinda big. As in you need a long torso for it to fit right.

This dress looks adorable on and the look gives me strong cutesy schoolgirl vibes. However the chest area was far too roomy and the white tunic was oddly detached/vulnerable to nip slips, making a proper bra essential. I'm glad I tried it but I won't be ordering it again. I ordered this dress to wear it at the office. It runs a little large in the lower body, loose at the top. The white part of the top section is no longer white, but grey(sh) and looks like something went wrong while washing it. Also, the outside parts of the white section are not attached to the blue so the fabric can bunch up easily. Lastly, there is a big gap between the end of the armpits and the beginning of the dress. The bra will show. If you decide to go bra-less, remember that nothing is keeping the white fabric in place if not at the shoulders. I really like the detail at the belt and the cut of the skirt. I just wish this dress was a skirt because it would have been a great one. I will not rent it again.

Really wanted this to work. I got the XS and it the top "vest" part hung super loose. I am 34D but have a narrowish rib cage. Also a bit long on me (though I'm short). Looked awkward and matronly

Loved the dress except for the shirt. In the photos it looks white but when it arrived the white shirt part looked gray as if it had been washed too many times. I still wore it hoping people would think its just supposed to be gray but it detracted from the look for me.

This a rare dress that is actually made for an hourglass figure. I so almost bought this!

I was definitely trying to get a Donna Tartt moment with this dress and I wasn't disappointed. It's stylish and comfortable. It fit well, although I gave it 4 stars because I wasn't a fan of the super low cut under the arms. Had to wear with a cami underneath to avoid showing my bra.

Vey figure flattering and hit at the perfect spot in the waist. The one issue is that if you have a smaller chest, there's a lot of fabric in the chest area but still totally wearable.

I got this for work, and it was very comfortable overall but the top portion was too baggy and seems to be for someone with a larger bust. Too bad, because I otherwise loved the look! Would recommend sizing down. (I ordered an XS)

Am wearing this at work today and have already received a few compliments! It fits well, if not on the looser side. This dress is great for work, but not sure where else I would be able to wear this. I am short so the top part bloused out a bit. The arm holes are also big. The waist was flattering and the length was perfect for work.

This dress was comfortable and flowy. It is a little too short for work and the sides go very law (you can see your bra - goes to your ribs at least). I liked this more on than I thought I would.

I liked this dress even more in my pictures after the event than I did when I stood in the mirror. It's unique and can look appropriate in a number of different settings IF you account for the super low sides. It's weird that the dress looks sweet and innocent and then there are these gaping spaces on each side that expose a lot of skin and bra. A bandeau or camisole is an absolute must.

Everything about the dress was perfect, except for the low armpit holes. If you don't wear a cami underneath you'll see your bra every time you lift your arms.

Like the other review said the shoulder area looks humongous and makes my chest look broader than it is!
