This dress was true to size and comfortable to wear. I'd recommend it if you're looking for a fun black dress to style

Like a sexy tshirt. Rides up a bit in front while walking but not really a problem to scootch it down. Wore it twice.

Material was thick so definitely warmer, it was short but I wore with tights and higher boots. Top was big enough on larger chest and I felt like it fit my waist in a flattering way too.

Sized up on this because I'm pregnant and glad I did. It is very tight around the legs but it was cute and warm.

Like the other reviews, hits snug on hips/waist and loose on the top. Wore this out for a date with tights and also to a club.

Trust these reviews - I have a very athletic build (read: NO hips), and this would've been impossible to get on if I had sized down. That said, the fit on my hips were perfect in this size, and the length of the mini was tasteful for a dame pushing 40 yrs like myself :). The tops was blousy, but comfortable. It's a great dress but size WAY up, especially if you have any hips.

felt so cute in this dress! i loved the looser top and more fitted bottom, could be dressed up or down. the ruching in the skirt creates a very flattering look, even for those (like me) with wider hips. it is short, but a pair of opaque tights add plenty of modesty, if you’re worried about the length. i am not really into short, tight dresses, but i loved this one. it was also very comfy. might buy it.

Material is thick and lush. Can be dressed up or down. The only thing I didn’t love was the neckline. It made it a bit too casual for my liking. Still a beautiful dress.

This dress was not easy to put on as it has no zips and no stretch, but love the fit. It’s pretty form fitting and fits true to size. Skirt would hike up a little and it’s already quite short. Velvet fabric is gorgeous. Got to channel my inner 90s girl

Cute crew neck dress! I wish it had a size zipper. Nearly had a panic attack trying to get it on/off the first time when the lining rolled up and wouldn’t budge. Very comfortable on for standing around. Wore to a concert where I spent half the time sitting and it became tiresome on the hips and thighs. Size up if you can and will be sitting a lot.

I have boobs and hips and this fit great! Definitely size up if you are in between but the fabric hugs great and is very flattering

It is nice and easy to wear to a nicer event. However, the bottom is tight which looks nice/is flattering but the top is loose. The looseness of the top part is fine, but kind of odd contrast with no belt/accessory.

Loved the velvet and overall style of the dress but the fit was off. The dress is short and tended to ride up. But the top was way too baggy. So it was disproportionately both too small and too large. I wore a belt to distract from the bagginess of the top. Probably wouldn’t rent again but it worked for a party I hosted in the winter

As others said in their reviews, this was a hard dress to get on. Bring a friend to help! Even though it is a tight fit, it is also somehow forgiving of figure flaws. It is short in length. Very nice overall!

I loved the fit of it, but it was very inconvenient when walking. I had to keep pulling it down... It would be better to wear it for dinner or other occasion where I would be seated only.

Great dress but was sexier than I realized it would be. The top is a looser fit but the bottom hugs your curves and is a bit short.

I sized up based on reviews that it was hard to get over the hips, good call and overall great fit. Wore it with knee high boots.

Sized up since there is no zipper as recommended, and it turned out great. Wore those out in Vegas with tights and booties and it was warm, comfortable and my husband loved it.

You can dress this up or down. I wore it one evening with docs for an edgier look, and with heels another night for a sophisticated look. Very soft and comfortable.

I was worried when all the other reviews said it was really hard to get on. It's really not that difficult if you have slender shoulders/smaller chest. I'm more bottom heavy with thicker legs and a bigger butt and I had no issues. Would definitely rent again!

I felt absolutely great in this and it fit perfectly, but as others have said, it was SO hard to put on. It really should have a zipper — you need to be a contortionist to get the waist over your shoulders. But once it’s on (if you’re not sweating too hard lol) it’s adorable.

I wore to a formal thanksgiving with my in-laws and to a holiday party with girlfriends a week later. It was a little tight to get on, but was very comfortable and fit well once it was on. It was extremely flattering and so comfortable.
