Absolutely loved this dress for work to going out. It received compliments from my male and female coworkers. I'm typically a 6/8 and I ordered up based upon other recommendations. I was happy I did, as it definitely seemed like it could've squished my chest otherwise. Would definitely consider renting again.

Thought this was kind of odd at first since the leather "bands"cause the lace to pucker a bit, but ended up really liking it. Has a forgiving fit and a cool vibe.

Fit right in the arms. A bit loose in the waist and hips, and was on the longer side (not necessarily a bad thing for work). Loved the lace and leather combo -- made it subtly unique for a black dress.

This dress fits loose on my torso, but I'm afraid if I size down, I won't be able to move in the shoulders. Regardless, the dress is super cute and I'll still wear it to work or on date night!

This was a fun cool piece. I normally wear 8/10 but I wasn't sure the fit so I got the 42. Which was too big around the waist but was fine. I however was glad I did get the larger size because the sleeves were a little snug, but I don't have skinny arms. Overall thought it's a fun cool piece to wear with fish net stockings or bold shoes!

This dress's unique details lies in the leather straps that are stitched across the chest. Although sexy they also "flatten" the chest area a little bit, nothing a padded bra can't help solve. The A-line was flattering and the half sleeves also different. A nice dress for a fall or spring event.

After reading all the other reviews I ordered a size up and was still tight in the chest & arms, but loose in the waist. I did wear it & it was cute, just not as good as I wanted it to be.

I really wanted to love this dress. It's work appropriate and still a bit edgy with the leather trim. The dress is thick and heavy - terrible for the heatwave we're currently in but perfect for a crisp fall day. Unfortunately, the leather trim is much tighter than the rest of the dress leaving me looking like I was bulging between leather stripes when really it was just the material bunching up. The leather trim around the hips hit me a bit too low and caused the dress to bunch up into a sort of muffin top. The arms are incredibly tight though I do play softball so maybe I just have larger arms? I couldn't reach up to put my hair into a ponytail. The worst part was the leather across the chest dug in so much that it gave me two boobs per side - half a boob above the leather and the other half below - and flattened me into an unflattering, lumpy, uniboob.

If you are an athletic build with any muscles at all- the arms might be snug. I found the leather strap part across the chest to hit at a weird spot too. Like- it presses the top part of your chest/breast flat.

I did not wear this. The waist was huge but the leather bands cut awkwardly into my bust.

Torso is long so if you have a short torso, it will bunch up

I really wanted to like this dress. But the bands cut my torso at all the wrong moments. One band right across the middle of my chest- giving me a weird double boob, one band below my natural waist - widening my waist. I've got a super short torso, so maybe that's why it looked strange? Would have worked if I was proportioned for the dress.

I have long legs and short torso (also known as petite). If you're even a little bit short-wasted, this dress gaps and doesn't flow. It buckles and looks horrid.

I ended up not wearing it to the event but I tried it on and looked beautiful. It is elegant and go well with boots

True to size, very flattering through the bust, arms and bodice. It's a thicker material, but still great for summer.

French sizing and I picked a size 6 which didn't fit in upper back/arm expansion because no stretch. Would try again in My typical bridesmaid dress size
