Wore this to the 10th annual Evening of Tribute Gala for the Navy SEAL Foundation. Being Gold Star daughter and daughter-in-law, this dress was perfect to represent the Navy and Gold Star families. The blue lace was beautiful and comfortable and the little gold accents made it even more beautiful. Was complimented all evening!

The dress was as pictured and in good condition. I got the M and L ended up wearing the L bc of the slip underneath, which was way too tight in the M but fit well with the L. The slip isn't long enough, but the lace layers covered the back enough. I wore a bra with it, but probably couldn't gotten away without one. Someone on here has mentioned it was too heavy; I wore for an outdoor wedding in the Northeast in August and it wasn't too heavy. This could also easily work at a winter wedding. Overall, the dress for nice and I got a few compliments on it.

I am tall (5ft 11) so was a little worried since I’d read reviews that said the dress (especially the slip) ran short. However, I loved the look of the dress online so decided to take a chance... I was not disappointed. The dress fitted absolutely perfectly - bust, waist, hips, length, everything! It was a decent length and I felt quite conservative and certainly not like I had my ‘bits’ on display!! It is well made, substantial in the feel of the material and is clearly a better quality dress than your usual high street wedding fashions. It was so pretty from both the front and back views, and I had so many kind compliments on how it looked. The only issue I had was getting myself zipped up (impossible to do by oneself!). TBH I would love to buy this dress, but have had no luck finding it online so far!

Dress fit perfectly and it looked amazing, had a lot of compliments. I did had a little struggle with the zipper but overall a very nice first good experience, will use RTR again!

Glad I read the reviews before submitting for my rental; it does seem to run small (usually a size 0), but since I was on a cruise celebrating a milestone birthday, so happy I sized up. I'm a tad self conscious about modesty, and agree the slip was slightly shorter than I would have preferred; however, the ruffles, lace, gold bead accent, and asymmetrical hem made me feel like a million bucks on my special night! Would definitely rent again (once I run out of options)!!

I wore the XL which gave a little more room for dancing. The ruffles made it fun and comfortable. It was easy to match my own jewelry. Would definitely rent again.

This is a gorgeous dress-definitely rent it! Wore to a formal gala and got so many compliments. One lady even came across the ballroom to ask me about the dress. Was unique and extremely comfortable. I got the navy color and paired it with gold heels and jewelry. Fabric was a good weight and had a nice stretch which made it very flattering. You might need help with the zipper since it was stuck in places where there was a thick seam.

I loved all the details of this dress! The lace is a deep blue and relatively heavy so the dress feels structured. The waist is small and the ruffles accentuate it even more! The only challenge is getting the dress and slip on without flipping one or the other inside out. The cut is conservative enough while still being very fun.

I normally fit into size Small dresses, but in this case I fit perfectly into the Medium size. This was such a lovely, elegant dress, and really flattering. I didn't have to wear any shapewear as the skirt is in layers, and the asymmetry was a nice touch. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. Sturdy lace, and a completely separate shift underneath the lace layers. Definitely recommend! My only negatives - the gold ball beads are a nice detail and way to punch up the look of the dress, but they are sometimes a bit uncomfortable when sitting down... Also, as a heads up - I do not recommend wearing any bracelets with tines/etc. on them, as I rented one along with this dress and it frequently would get caught in the lace. Overall though, a wonderful, beautiful dress that I would gladly wear again!

I rented this dress for a formal work Christmas party. It has a beautiful lace pattern with a slip sewn in so it doesn't get bunched. My favorite part is the skirt which has multiple layers giving it shape and flattering curves. Very comfortable and looks fantastic. I would definitely recommend this dress.

Rented for a work holiday party. Glad 2 sizes were sent - seemed to run small. Only downside is I received it a day later than scheduled.

Such a fun dress, perfect for my country chic themed event. Flattering fit and pairs well with cowboy boots;) Top was tight on my small chest. I did not wear a bra for this reason although I believe a regular bra would be appropriate. The lace part of the dress was a great length. Loved the layers. However, the slip was very short! I wore black spandex shorts to prevent any inappropriate sightings. I had trouble with the zipper and had to get it half way zipped up before getting into it.

It was very flattering, fit very well, I got a lot a compliments in it. My only issue was that the zipper was finicky and took some help to be able to zip all the way

The dress is very beautiful and light. I got a whole lot of compliments on it. I took off one star because the slip underneath was really short and would keep riding up. So, I had to keep my hand on it the whole night, which meant that I couldn't move freely because I felt self conscious. So, definitely put a shorty slip underneath. But overall, I'm very happy with the it.

This dress fit a little small, the zipper was stubborn, it was complicated to get into, and the lining was VERY short! BUT it was super cute, comfortable to wear, and the layers of lace with the gold detailing was so beautiful. It was also pretty flattering if you’re sensitive about your stomach, since the ruffles cover a lot. I was able to wear a regular bra with this too, which I really appreciated.

I took a risk with this dress and I don't regret it. I rented it for a Christmas Party at work and I soon as I took my coat off I received the first compliment. After this, the compliments were endless, even from people I did not know. After reading reviews I decided to rent the M and Large and I am glad I did. I am usually between S and M on dresses depending on the style (I have a really curvy shape) The M was a little long and lose around the armpits, but the slip underneath runs really small!!! Thank God I had the large to swap the slip from this size because otherwise, I would be showing my goodies!! I also wore black spanxs to feel more comfortable as I knew there was going to be a lot of dancing. I gave this dress 4 stars because the slip kept sliding up and my spanxs were showing (not noticeable due to the lace on the dress) but made me a little uncomfortable. If you are looking for a dress that stands out on its own, this is definitely the right option for you. Its sexy and conservative at the same time and was the right dress for this occasion.

I really liked this dress. The inner fabric that is the more covering fabric is definitely short. The lace obviously goes down further, but the slip is short. If you order a back- up size, I'd recommend ordering up. Overall, comfortable and fun to dance in!

This was my back up dress. Fit was great but didn’t realize the top was totally see through and I didn’t have a cami to match.

Really liked the color, dress and material. However, if you have a short waste or a wider rib cage the dress will not zip up all the way -- just too tight around my upper torso. Normally I wear an XS -- not sure a M would have worked.

This dress was a huge disappointment. From the moment I took it out of the bag and felt the fabric, I knew I would not be wearing it. I was not even upset when I tried it on and it was unable to zip past my bust (34DDD). The design is childish and was not what I was looking for to wear at graduation.

I loved this dress! I'm 5'7" and 135 lbs and the M fit perfectly. As the other reviews mention, the slip is a little short, but the longer lace hem is both opaque enough, and definitely long enough, to be appropriate (I wore this to a work event with 3 inch heels). As an FYI, you really can't wear a bra with the lace back, but with the slip and the thicker, structured fabric of the dress this wasn't a problem. 10/10!

The dress fits true to size. It is made of a sturdier fabric and has a nice weight to it. It is incredibly flattering for someone who is pear-shaped like me. Definitely hides a bit of a belly well! The lace slip attached underneath the dress did land incredibly short of me - barely reaching the bottom of my butt. The lower tiers covered this up pretty well, but I felt like I needed to wear dark tights underneath it just in case. But I would highly recommend this dress. I could have dressed it down for a night out as well. Wish I could have kept it!

True to size. I wear a 0 to a 2 and the XS was perfect. I'm 5'1, 105 and petite. Definitely need a completely strapless bra when wearing this, just fyi so you can plan ahead. Perfect for a semi-formal event. Only negative thing I would say is that the zipper is a bit tough to work with yourself.

The inner lining is very short, and I had to basically turn into Houdini to get the lace overlay and lining to work properly. However, I loved the dress once it was all figured out. It's an awkward fit, but it worked.

I’m 5’7” and 170lbs. I usually wear a large but the XL fit a bit better. The zipper was finicky, as other reviewers commented, but in the end I think the dress was completely worth it! I’m very happy!

When I originally ordered this dress I thought that it was black, actually I thought I had ordered and entirely different dress. It had little gold ball all around the skirt that you don’t see in the photos but they give an accent to the layers on the skirt. It was a very pretty dress and I got a couple of complements on it. The high neckline was comfortable without being constricting and the length was just at my knees which was perfect for a Good Friday service where I was singing. The dark navy color looks almost black except in direct sunlight.

I rented this for 1920s theme party. But ended up not wearing it because my accessories were white and silver and the beads on the dress were gold colored. I think it would be better suited for a wedding.

Runs small, really hard to get on and get zipped up. Once it's on though you're good. Really comfortable. Shorter than it looks but I wore it with tights so no issue.

It is a bit on the frilly side, but hid my stomach so that was a plus!

I liked the idea of this dress but it ran SUPER small. The boobs probably played a part in that as the waist of the dress was sitting right under said boobs once I got it on but even so I usually fit into most larges and I would have probably need a 2 or 3 XL to get into that dress.

Nice material. A little heavy, but not overwhelming. The dress was shorter than expected and I couldn't wear it bc the zipper would not go all the way up. Not sure if it was a defective dress or just too small?
