I have a thin build and this dress found the few curves that I do have. It was elegant and classy. The free (M) didn't fit as well. The feature of Rent-the-way is great. My blind date pinned his fabric flower to me and we were a couple!!!! LOVED the DRESS...enhanced the evening!

I rented this dress actually as my backup for another dress and I am so glad that I did! I felt super confident and beautiful in this dress! The open back was gorgeous and the slit in the skirt made it easier to walk in. The only downside was riding in the car and trying to breathe in it because the band in the middle does not give that much and it's awkward when you sit like you do in a car. In a regular chair I was fine! I would definitely wear this dress again if I had the chance! We had a great time at our NYE party!

Renter beware the cleavage is cut low! But it's truly flattering and it's not so low that it's uncomfortable or awkward. It's fitted and doesn't have any give at all-- so size up for a back up size. The slit in the front is high (mini skirt height about) but comfy. I did have to watch how I sat down which I didn't expect, but honestly--- can't wait to rent this again to a more festive event! Got a ton of compliments and felt like a million bucks in this dress!

The stress was well-made and beautiful. I had tried this in a smaller size, a S which are usually am but did not fit me in this particular designer. The dress has no stretch, and is a little less comfortable than I prefer. That said I received lots of compliments.

Great with a simple heel for a party

This dress arrived brand new with the tags still attached. It was so nice- very well made however, it was way too tight through my hips. If I would have sized up I definitely would have worn it. I truly have an hourglass figure (36, 29, 40) so it is often difficult to find something that fits well everywhere.

Rented for husband's formal work function. Needed something appropriate, black or navy, but was not for an 80 year old or completely boring. Perfect dress. Im a size 4, 5'10", 140 pounds. Couldnt zip the S. M was PERFECT. The waist comes in a bit to really define. The only hard part is finding a bra. I wore a sticky backless one + a sticky nu bra to fill out the top (Im barely B, 40, 2 kids). Will probably rent again for the "right" occassion. I felt so appropriate but still with some pizazz.

I didn't get to wear this dress as it had no stretch at all in the hips (which I need.) I would recommend sizing up and will probably try it again in the future.

Couldn't wear

I am large in the hip area and could not get it to zip up all the way. Not for hippie chicks!

The dress has a couple of things going on. It is low cut (significant cleavage without a cami), open back, open shoulders, high center slit and wide sleeves. It comes together but no wow factor. This was just okay so I choose to wear it to work with a black cami, black tights and jacket. There is no give in the material so if you are hippy - beware. The center slit was really quite high when I sat so I was super happy I had on opaque stockings. I had to be really careful on this point! Got this as part of unlimited and was happy to wear it but wouldn't have picked this under reserve.

This dress could have been such a great look, but unfortunately I couldn't even get it to zip up! As someone with a 28" waist, this is not something I really run into all that often, but I could barely get this dress over my hips/ butt and couldn't get it to zip up all the way in the back. I would only recommend this dress to some who has a very straight figure and minimal difference between their hips and waist. Glad I got this as part of my Unlimited and could quickly return/replace!

It was too tight and the sleeves were too long for me.

Ran small, barely fit over my hips, center slit very high, I wouldn't have been able to sit down in it without flashing the whole theater!

If you have a butt or thick thighs this isn't the dress for you (or maybe size up) as the fabric has no stretch.

If you have any semblance of hips/curves, or weigh over 145 pounds, do not rent this dress. I'm 5'7 and weigh 150 and can normally get into a 6 or an 8 and normally fit well in mediums. I got a large just because I prefer things to be looser and reviews said it ran smaller. It was SKIN TIGHT. I wore it because I didn't have any other options at this point and the front slit just continually kept on ripping slightly the entire night because the dress was too tight. it was not flattering at all and i almost cried when i saw pictures of myself in the dress. By the end of the night, my vajayjay was almost showing. Not to mention that the fact I was barely able to squeeze into a size large really brought my self-confidence down. Won't be renting anything from this brand again!
