This was the most perfect dress! I wish I bought it. I felt like a little girl with all the ruffles and lace. I was living my best life. Originally, I ordered this dress for a date that didn't happen but I wore it to a wedding rehearsal and it worked great as well. It's easy to wear a bra with and it's so stylized it can be dressed up or down.

I absolutely loved this dress - perfect for my Night Circus theme party. I will say that the other reviewers were correct in stating that the slip is very short. I wore the medium slip with the small dress. It also moved a bit between sitting and standing so I had to check it throughout the night. Overall, the look and feel were amazing and I would highly recommed the dress.

This dress was extremely comfortable and versatile. I can see it being utilized for many types of events. I wore it with fishnets and booties for my costume, but a killer pair of heels would also look great. The slip is very short, so I used my own because I didn't want to flash anyone!

The dress fit very well. I ended up wearing the small instead of the xs to give myself room to eat and drink as much as I wanted without worrying about a food baby! I'm 5'3" 107lbs with a slender athletic build. I wore the dress with black cowboy boots which really was a hit! My only change would be the length; I wish it was just a couple inches shorter due to my height. If I had worn heels it probably would have been closer to a better length for me. Overall I loved the dress and want to purchase it!

I channeled my inner "Madonna" and wore this to an 80's themed murder mystery dinner! This is probably the most comfortable dress I've rented so far, and it's very slimming! The waist is actually higher than I anticipated, but still very flattering. The lace is actually see-through, so they send you a black slip to wear underneath. My black slip was super sorry and it just felt uncomfortable, even though the tiered lace covered my butt. So I wore some black spandex shorts underneath the slip! I got lots of compliments on the dress and the gold rivet details. I would definitely considering renting this dress again!! I normally wear a size 6 and medium, and the medium for perfectly!!

This dress was rented to wear to a local fashion show, and it looked like it should have been one of the runway pieces. It was a true show stopper, and I received compliments all night. Even though I ordered a M, just in case, it fits true to size, and the S was perfect. However, it has little give, so be sure to order the correct size.

It would have been too tight with a medium so I ended up wearing the large with the slip underneath and black tights. Very flattering! Be aware, the zipper stuck on both the medium and large where the fabric changes. I needed my partner to help zip me with a lot of force. Not because the dress was tight, but because the zipper was difficult to use. I wouldn't have been able to do it by myself, so be mindful if you're getting ready on your own.

I rented this dress for a southern-themed gala. It was fun, flirty, and perfect with my cowboy boots. I also received so many compliments on it. I didn't want to return it! The small lace shell fit well, but as other reviewers mentioned, the black slip was short. So I wore the medium slip with the small lace overlay. Otherwise, it was great and I would definitely rent it again!

This dress was absolutely perfect for a subtle nod to the 80's at the 80's themed charity event we attended. I received tons of compliments all night. it fit perfectly although the zipper stuck a little and was hard to move up and down. The slip that came with the dress was oddly made and ill-fitting, but thankfully I had one that would work. Other than that it was great!

My boyfriend had a "Western" themed banquet and I had a hard time finding something perfect for the theme, until I found this dress! It fit the theme perfectly and I got a ton of compliments. I normally wear a size 2-4 in dresses and the M fit perfectly! The slip was a good length to leave some sheer lace at the bottom of the dress. Material was thick and didn't feel cheaply made.

My roommate and I had our birthday at 80's Prom, an event in LA, and this dress was perfect! Add a few accessories and boom! You have the perfect Rocker-chic outfit! I rented a medium and a large, but the medium was BEYOND small. I barely could get a leg in. The large was perfect though and gave me a little extra room to move in which came in handy when it was time to dance!

This is totally not a style I would wear, but I was feeling adventurous for my husband's country themed Christmas work party. It fit very true to size & liked how it came below my knees a little. It was surprisingly warm as the lace material is thick (but not stretchy!) I actually liked the dress without the slip better, but didn't think that was appropriate for the event. I wouldn't rent this style again, but glad I went out of my comfort zone! It's very comfortable for dancing though!

The lace of the dress is well-made with a thin slip underneath. The fit is very forgiving. It was perfect for a formal event where I wasn't totally sure of the dress expectations. I felt flirty and fun while still being super comfortable. Only issue was the zipper is very sticky so I needed help getting in and out of it.

Such a fun and comfy dress! Slip underneath is pretty short and thin but the dress goes over and fixes any issues there. Seriously SO comfortable and fun! Got compliments all night! Runs true to size as well!

Loved the dress. Very comfortable. I wore a larger size than usual (M) given that the slip underneath was rather short and the back was a little tight. It also had gold metal beads on the dress which are harder to notice in the pictures

The style was different enough to get a lot of compliments but not too different for a very traditional dresser :)

This dress is high quality and is perfect for a costume party or masquerade. I wore the xs and it wasn't too tight at all (I usually wear a 2 or 4.) The only thing I would change is the length. I'm 5'3" and it was a little longer on me than I would like. Overall, a great dress!

I really love this dress - maybe my favorite rental by far. I wore it to a friend's wedding. The lace is quality, the cut is very flattering, and it's interesting enough without being too attention-grabby. Most of all, the dress is COMFORTABLE. I danced in it all night and then passed out in it (and woke up not totally hating myself). My one comment would be that it was more snug on the chest than the waist, and I am flat-chested and did not wear a bra, so it might not be for more well-endowed ladies!

Loved this dress and wore it for a beach wedding that required cocktail attire. It was beautiful and comfy but I was hot in it since it was an outdoor wedding/reception. I could wear both the medium and large but felt more comfortable in the large because I'm heavy chested and had more room in it.

This dress was so much fun! I rented it for a bachelorette party and received so many compliments on it. I love how you can wear it two different ways. Slip all the way up or, like I did, slip from the waist down. I would def rent this dress again! This dress runs true to size.

I would buy this dress. It is an absolute favorite! I did have zipper issues, they were super sticky and then it popped at a seam, the girls on the phone at RTR helped with some suggestions and it worked out. I was impressed with how heavy the fabric was. I was expecting a light and whispy lace and it turned out to be this heavy canvas lace so it stayed down and wasn't at all see through in the wrong places. the slip it came with is super short, I ended up adding my own skirt slip to it for my own comfort but it really wasn't needed. I normally don't like high necks, but this wasn't right against the neck so it worked well. I paired the dress with a pair of blue with red stitching Fluevogs shoes, and I received compliments all night. My size notes: Bra 36DDD- was not insanely tight on the chest but was flush. I don't think larger chest would fit smoothly Jean size: 14. Fit great over hips and waist.

I needed a dress for a once in life trip to Vegas for the billboard music awards. With throwbacks like Janet Jackson and Salt n Pepa, I wanted a fun dress that was reminiscent of my youth in the 80's 90's. This dress was perfect! It fit like a glove and in a town and event full of "pretty people", I received compliments. I don't get to dress up often so when I do I want to make a statement. This dress was perfect!! The other reviews were right about the slip being short but I was in Vegas so I rocked it!!

This was a perfect dress for a charity masquerade ball! It fit true to size and was comfortable and easy to wear. As other reviews have said, the slip is on the shorter side, but with the dress over it, I didn't have any worries about accidentally showing underwear. A great dress and a great price!

Dress fits true to size. It was very flattering and it hid my midsection which is always an issue for me. I will say that this dress runs long so if you are short it will be long . I am 5'7 and it was the perfect length for me. I would love to buy this dress. That's how much I loved it.

I wore this to a formal fundraiser, and of all the RTR dresses I've ever ordered, this is one of my favs. Primarily because it was beautiful but also just super FUN and comfortable. I'm 5'9 165lb athletic build and 36D bust. I usually wear an 8 or 10. Ordered the M & L. Both zipped just fine, and I could have wore either pretty comfortably. The material is soft and flexible, not stiff or heavy. So I went with the Large because I was going for a more classy look as opposed to sexy. It just fit more flattering. Bottom line, I think it's a great dress and I would expect most women to agree.

Runs TTS - I'm usually a 2/4 and the XS fit well. The material doesn't feel all that amazing but it looks incredible overall. I got mine without a slip, but a standard black bra worked fine, though depending on your event and how adventurous you're feeling you could honestly probably skip that and still look great.

I absolutely loved this dress I hated to mail it back! I got so many compliments! I wore this as part of a bachelorette weekend in Nashville. The lace in the dress went perfectly with a pair of cowboy boots. I wore the medium for fit and the large slip for the length but also had a pair of nude spanks on underneath because the dress flares out a bit if you spin while dancing. Would highly recommend this dress!!!
