I thought this was incredibly beautiful. It feels like Neoprene. The style is unique, the top I wish I went smaller because I am not top heavy, but I did wear a nubra. The bottom however size 8 was perfect. I wore it for dinner for my birthday and I can feel eyes on me admiring the dress walking down the street. I felt amazing in it.

David Koma does not disappoint with this neoprene asymmetrical crop top! It fits very true to size and has some stretch to it! Since there is a sheer slit down the middle, you can't wear a standard or strapless bra (if your bigger busted and need one, you may be able to opt for a nude one). I wore an unclipped nubra! I absolutely love the skirt that goes with this top, but you can also opted for a black skater skirt as I have done here. Highly recommend this top!

Normally a 6 or 8 but it does run small so I decided to get a 12. Very flattering when it's on though. Got many compliments!!

My sister wore this and loved the stretch material and comfort of the piece. She wore a nude bra and you couldn't see it behind the mesh middle. She said it was breathable and didn't sweat. Received tons of compliments! Would definitely rent again!

I wore this dress to a formal dance paired with a pleated black maxi skirt and absolutely loved it..I received so many compliments!! It was very comfortable, and though I was worried it would be too small from other reviews, fit true to size (I wore a 6 and am usually a 0-2 in US sizing). I didn't have any trouble with my unhooked sticky bra showing through the mesh paneling in the center. The only issue I had was the back zipper, which did not stay up the whole night.

This is a stunning outfit. On the smaller side for fit- typically I wear 0 or 2 and I barely fit into the 4. Loved it none the less!!

So, I'm flat chested, and normally a 2 in most gowns. I can be a 4 if a dress is body con, and I tend to be a 4 in pants, because I have some booty. The size 4 top fit me great, which means it definitely runs small. I also wore the size 4 skirt, which fit nicely. I probably would have also liked to try the 2 because it could have fit a little more snug, but for the most part, it was fine. I have a very small waist, so the skirt shifted a bit during the night, but the length of the 4 was great, and it wasn't so loose that it was falling, so that was fine. Bottom line: Top runs small, skirt runs normally. The material is really beautiful. The color is great. I got a ton of compliments, and would love to permanently own these pieces in my closet. Rent this, you won't regret it.

Loved the look overall: both the top and the skirt run small. I typically wear a 0 or 2 in dresses, and I had to fold the skirt over and not zip it all the way because the waist line was just way too small on the 2 (8). The top fit perfectly though. Overall, I would definitely recommend the set, but just be careful with the sizing!

I am obsessed with David Koma because of Rent the Runway. This top was a bit hard to find a bra for. I figured I could go braless since I don't need much support, but this top probably calls for bra inserts. I ended up using some inserts from a swimsuit and the top was snug enough that they stayed in place all through the night.

I wore this for my sisters rehearsal dinner. the top is very cute, the only thing I would prepare for is the mesh middle. make sure you get a sticky bra that can unhook in the middle so you won't see anything, that's what I got.

I wore this to our RTR 5 year anniversary party. I was VERY worried it wouldnt fit as I'm pretty tall at 5'9 and the Small top wasn't available last min. I ended up wearing a XS top and Small in the Skirt and both fit perfectly! For the top I suggest either a sticky bra or no bra at all because of the sheer detailing down the middle. This is a fun outfit for a party!

Got an insane amount of compliments on this look — it was comfortable, fit like a dream, and definitely eye-catching, especially when worn as a set. Definitely recommend comparing the sizing though; I usually wear a 4 and this was a 10 but it fit like a glove. Not standard sizing, which might screw you up. I was fortunate enough to have a RTR store near me where I was able to try on the designer prior to ordering this, so I knew my sizing. The only con is it's difficult to wear a bra with this — the back goes kind of low, and the nude panel down the front (my favorite part of the top). However, because the top was fitted it provided the support I needed (I'm fairly busty). Love this look, wish I could've kept it!

I LOVE this top so much! So unique and extremely comfortable. It actually went perfectly with a black skirt I had on, and I wanted to keep it on all day! I wore the ten, but could have easily sized up and been comfortable in a 12, as well. since the fabric is slightly stretchy. If you are bigger busted sizing up will probably be necessary since this top will hold you in very well. I had on a standard nude bra with this, and if I were to wear this out, I would probably keep it on because it is not too noticeable. However, I definitely think a nu-bra, pasties, or no bra would work best with this since the mesh is see-through. You can pair this with any black bottoms and it would look great, or you can opt to go for the matching skirt (Very TSwift!) I would love to rent this chic top for a summer night out.

Absolutely loved this! I wish I had sized up on the top to give me a little more room for hidden support, but it was the only size left when I ordered. I also wish I had sized up on the skirt a little too just because I think it wouldn't have shown my stomach as much if I had.

The photo looks real good, but I think I'm not sure I got the right size. I got the smallest size and it fit really weird right at the bottom of the top where the mesh met the rest of the shirt. Also there was no clasp at the top of the zipper in the back so the top kept unzipping. The fit looked perfect but Im pretty sure if I had gone the next size up it would have had more fabric and looked completely different. Overall looked good but comfort wise - I was worried about my top coming undone the whole night long

I rented both the top and bottom (skirt) from RTR for my college graduation. I am very tall and thin (5'9" 110 lbs) and I usually wear a 0 or 2 in dresses. The top was very snug (UK 6, US 0) but it fit nicely since I have a pretty small bust. I definitely don't recommend wearing a bra with this top because of the mesh down the middle, I wore nipple pasties instead. I graduated with a BFA in Filmmaking so this look was perfect for the "creative formal" type occasion. My style is normally modern, edgy, and minimalist so this outfit was calling my name. I love the way the two pieces looked together. The material is amazing and I felt like a supermodel. The top and bottom are really diverse so you could wear them with different looks but I love them together. This outfit definitely runs small. It was pretty snug and unfortunately there is no clasp at the top of the zipper so my top came unzipped while I was sitting at the graduation ceremony. Thankfully, I was wearing a gown over it or else that could have been a little distracting... Overall, this look is incredible. It was pricy but I bought very affordable accessories and shoes. It was snug but I felt like a high fashion goddess and I definitely stood out in the crowd of white eyelet and cork wedges (no disrespect)! I felt cool and hip and my conservative grandmother was happy -- all around success. I would definitely rent again, maybe a size up though!

I wore this to my final homecoming and as I was dancing the zipper kept coming loose and almost unzipped completely about halfway though the event. I highly recommend this dress only if it had hooks to clip the zipper

I followed other's advice and sized up, and I'm glad I did. The 10 fit comfortably. The only downside is that even with a sticky bra, I really felt like this just smooshed my breasts completely flat. That was a minor annoyance, but this top is so cute who cares?
