These earrings were part of my UNLIMITED selection, so I didn't have an event to wear them to. I just wore them to work, but they are really pretty! The colors are gorgeous!. Also I didn't read the details of the earrings and found out they were clip-ons. I'm a bit surprised they are clip-ons since they have some weight to them. I'm wondering if I could wear them all day during work without my ears hurting. It's only been 2.5 hours wearing them and I'm starting to feel a little sore. Might be best for an event of less time!

This dress is so forgiving and easy to wear. I ordered the M & L, but the M fit me perfectly. I love, love, love this dress. So did my husband and all of our guests.

I originally ordered different earrings for the event, however a RTR stylist contacted me immediately to inform me that they were unavailable, but of the various options I had to choose from. The stylist was very helpful, and patient. I was concerned about theses earrings because they are clip-on and I had not worn clip-ons before. Once they arrived, I tried them on and they were very comfortable. The night of the event, I did not experience discomfort of too much pressure, yet they were very secure. :) Overall, I am open to clip-ons thanks to this experience.

I ordered this to go with the Pencey Truth or Dare dress. I ordered it for 4 days. The earring really popped out and complimented the dress perfectly. I was afraid that they might fall off and I'd lose them but they stayed on so well I didn't have to worry at all! I'm also a size 0g meaning I've gauged my ears so I was perfect that they were clip on. They really made the difference with my dress and I got tons of compliments the whole night!

Great earrings; however,I did not know they were clip ons. Nevertheless, they matched great and were light enough not to notice the clip on feeling.

I rented these earrings as my accessory to the Herve Leger Whiplash of Color dress (I think that's the formal name of it). The color of the earrings accented the dress perfectly. They are clip-ons (which I suppose they'd have to be when you're renting them out for multiple people to use - hygiene!), so they were a tad heavy by the end of the night but still fun to wear.

I saw these amazingly blue beautiful earrings on RTR and knew they would be perfect with my blue dress for NYE! Unfortunately... they were clip ons--- which i didn't realize. They were so heavy and painful to clip on... I couldn't even wear them to my New Years party. Although they are beautiful... they are unwearable.

Not too uncomfortable for clips. When I received them, they looked like two different earrings but I realized that it was fine when you put them on. One stone was slightly chipped but not noticeable on ears. Great earrings that totally complimented dress.

These were sent to me as a stylist surprise. They're clip on earrings and they are heavy! I was able to wear them all day though for my friends wedding although my earlobes were aching the next day. They're very fun and vary in color depending on the way the light hits them. So sometimes they were blue (as shown) or purple or turquoise. I would have given 5 stars if they were more comfortable on my ear lobes

The electric blue with a purplish tone to it make this piece both unique and classical. Also found these to be very comfortable - which is not always the case with clip on earings.

I love the look of these, but since I was going to be wearing the earrings for an entire day, I decided to opt for a lighter pair as these are quite heavy.

They're clip on so keep that in mind!

These earring are just as gorgeous in person as they are pictured. However - and I blame the fact that I probably didn't read as closely as I should have - they're CLIP ONs. Because I have very little experience with clip on earrings, and because I was attending a sure-to-be-wild 30th birthday party, I left them at home.

Wore as part of my Halloween flapper costume and they worked well. Note: these are clip ons. I keep accidentally renting clip on earrings and they hurt my ears by the end of the night.

I rented these earring for a wedding party. The size of the earrings were as expected. They best matched the dress that I rented from RTR as well. I remained extremely satisfied during the wedding party, ever after. I would offer to rent this earring to others, too.
