Followed the feedback and ordered a larger size, happy that I did. Runs small in the bust and hips. The cut out near the lower back is a fun detail. The cutout seems to hit in “just the right place “ to be flattering even for those of us unable to pull off a mid drift or waist cutout I found it surprisingly versatile. I wore it with fitted black slacks, dressy boots and another time with black leggings and casual boots. The pattern is pretty busy so you don’t need accessories. Since it’s longer a longer overcoat is perfect. Got a lot of compliments.

You need to know three things about this tunic. It seems to be sized to flatter people with a small bust. One of the model pictures has only the 3 middle buttons buttoned and I suspect that is the intended wear. There is an oddly shaped rectangular cutout in the small of your back. I wasn't sure of this when I first tried it on but ended up getting several compliments on it when I wore it to go out dancing. I wore it with only the 3 middle buttons done up, a pendant necklace, high waisted slim, straight leg pants, and booties. I think its narrow fit complemented my body type well, but it is definitely difficult to style well.

I look forward to other reviews on how they styled this. I couldn't make it work. Know that it has an opening in the back. Although it's high quality it's a thick cotton, not silk. If in between sizes, go up.

Rented 3 sizes larger than usual. Any smaller & it would not have buttoned.

If you’re busty (triple D) probably won’t fit. Has no stretch room.

This is not true to size, usually I am a 10/12 and the 12 was tiny! I am large chested and i couldn't come close to buttoning.

Also the fabric covered buttons were very hard to fasten/unfasten and the fabric fell off of one, making it unwearable.
