Not sure why the other reviews are so negative, but I love this skirt. It is super classy and works well for the office. It runs a little large, but is great with a sweater tucked in. Got a ton of compliments all day. :) Thank you RTR!

Great skirt! The back panel fabric made it a comfortable and relaxed fit, plus a little easier to dress down. Wore it with leopard flats and a grey t-shirt while the weather was warmer, then again with tights and a sweater when a little cooler out. Good wardrobe staple. Still considering keeping!

Great skirt! A number of other reviewers didn't like that the material in the back half of the skirt was not leather but I thought it was unique. Plus, it was a stretchy fabric so it hugged tight to the backside curves. Loved it.

This skirt was cute. I think my lackluster impression is because it is a longer pencil skirt and I'm a short gal.

I liked this skirt, I wanted to be in love with it but the fit was a little off for me. It was still great to wear but not great enough to buy. It's leather in the front, stretch in the back which is very comfortable however the seems on the side stuck out a little and made me look wider. The front was a little large so tucking in a shirt felt like I had bulk there. I may rent again and size down to see if that's solved.

I should have sized down as this skirt was a bit large on me and hence not as flattering as it should have been. But regardless, it is a quality garment and I got lots of compliments. It made a statement.

The fit was great. I'm an 8 these days. I ordered a 6 and an 8. The 6 fit nicely. It had great stretch and I was able to move around nicely in it.

It fit perfectly and was comfortable.

Fit comfortably. The side panels are cute and flattering from the side, would rent again.

This was comfortable and versatile. I could've sized down and may have liked it more if I did. I liked the fabric in the back although the seams on the sides were a little odd. Paired with sweaters, dr martens and dressier boots.

Thick fabric in the front and stretchy in the back made it look nice and substantial but easy to sit in at my desk for the day.

The thing that did bother me was on the sides where the fabric and leather met up sticks out a bit which made it ackward.

It has these strange flaps on the sides, and if they were only flat against the rest of the skirt, I would have loved this, but because of the shape of my body, it meant that the edges flared out and it did not look good.

Loved the skirt. Soft leather material in the front, stretchy material in the back. Loved the length as well. Only con was the extra material on the sides. It lifted on the sides which didn't look right. Maybe wearing the skirt loose would solve this but I liked it fitted.

Overall waist and hips were too big

I don't know how to describe this other than a little baggy. I'm NEVER a size 2 given I alternate between a 4/6. However, I believe I could have sized down as this wasn't as fitting as I would have liked and was loose around the waist.

It looked nice from the side, but the extra fabric on the seams were not my favorite and made me feel extra hippy

it's ok but not what I was expecting

I liked the style of leather in the front and cotton/lycra (stretch material) in the back, it gave it a more custom fit, but the detail along the side seams stuck out and made me appear larger than I am (I should have believed the other reviewers, shame on me). It would fit better on someone who doesn't have an hourglass figure or someone less curvier than myself. Otherwise it's a gorgeous skirt!!

Loved that it was leather on the front and softer on the back, but the side seams were leather strips that kept flaring up as I moved around at home so I never wore it out. Normally wear an 8, but the 6 was just fine.

I like the cut and the fit, but, the fabric on the back of the skirt is a turnoff. The construction is nice. Rent this if you can get over that texture change going on front-to-back.

So this would have been perfect, except for the bizarre inch-wide peplum seam type things on each side. They literally add two inches to your hips and legs quite unnecessarily. Would have been great otherwise but as is it was kind of terrible. Perhaps sizing up would have helped but then the waist would have been far too big.

baggy and not that flattering

I wanted to love this skirt but the make is so odd. The faux leather is only in the front with an open seat to the back. It created what van only be described as fins down the side of my hips. Probably great for others but as a hippy gal, it was not flattering.

This skirt had potential. Note that the front and back are different materials. Where the two meet, there is about a 3/4 inch tab that runs the length of the skirt on both sides that do not lay flat. It honestly looked ridiculous, like I had two fins so I obvs didn't wear.

I am normally a size 2 or 0, the 2 was way too big in the waist. Otherwise very cute skirt.

The ruffles on the side just make you look wider
