I wore this thing both out to dinner and also hiking in Maine. It is super high quality and you can wear it as a traditional zip up with the zip in front or in back. Awesome active vacation rental!

You can wear this as a turtleneck, like the RTR model wears, or the imtended way, with the label in back as a zip up. Either way it is fabulous. Well made, charcoal knit with fabric near zipper. I have worn it both ways amd get compliments each time.

Perfect everyday turtleneck for layering or everyday wear. Not too tight, not to loose, perfect weight, but it was a little itchy.

This is a dark grey, not black. It's reversible, which is a fun feature.

Love this comfy sweater! I'm a fan of tops with nice long sleeves because I have long arms. I also like the hole for your thumb. The back is also cool. It zips in the back, making it look like the ti]op is on backwards.

This sweater is so comfy and thick! It's well made and the zipper on the back adds so much detail! Sometimes it got bunchy on the back so I took a picture like that so you can see what I mean. The neck is ultra high which is nice in a turtleneck for warmth, of course, but by the end of my work day I wanted out of it!

As other reviewers have noted, the RTR model seems to have this sweater on backwards. I took a picture with the zip in the front to highlight this, though I actually preferred the look of the zip in the back. For such an expensive sweater, I didn't find the material that nice. Would have preferred cashmere :) I also think it was a bit short, but overall okay.

This was a high-quality garment with some chic details, but it wasn't really the right fit for my style. I wore it on the weekend with high-waist blue jeans and it was warm and comfortable and made for a very polished casual look. But I wasn't really able to style it in a way I loved especially with dressier clothes for work - I had hoped it might fit more like a shirt and be able to be tucked into pants/skirts and it was too loose and a bit too bulky for that. But it also wasn't an oversized fit so I just felt a little preppy and suburban, despite the edgy sleeve and back details.

I assumed this would be for lounging or outside walks but I ended up wearing it "to work" (WFH Zoom) quite a bit and it worked well - not too athleisurey. Never tried it with zipper in the back, seems to clearly be designed for zipper in front.

Love everything about this sweater. Very versatile. Wore it as pictured with the zip up the back which is a great look but I also wore it as a cardigan with the zipper in front to wear it an extra time

Highly recommend! Feels amazing, and is very flattering. I folded the neck down a bit, because when it's up all the way it was a bit too much. I know some people are wearing it with the zipper in the front but I think it really should be worn with the zipper in the back. I didn't have issues with my hair getting stuck in the zipper in the back - overall really loved this and would rent again!

I got twice the mileage out of this because you can wear it with the zip in front or back. I wasn't crazy about the fabric on the panel around the zipper. Felt like lining.

I only wore this once... actually, I don't think I even wore it fore the whole day.... it was itchy, and the sleeves were super long. But, definitely a high quality piece.

I love these kind of tops for the winter but this one, I didn't like. It was small and it was a tight fit plus it was too short on me.

Its not obvious from the pix but the front of this sweater near the neck is a sort of canvas material. It doesn't sit right on the neck for me.

It zips from the back. It is bulky. Even if you are a 00 this sweater will find a way to be unflattering.

I rented this with lots of hope based on other reviews but this piece was terrible. Really boxy, not form fitting like you could expect and was SUPER LARGE. Not sure how others were able to reverse it. It was returned and not worn. Disappointed.

Comfortable fit

Snug across chest and very warm but lots of fun to wear. Paired it with jeans for a college basketball game and then again for an at-home game night with friends. Paired it with a leather skirt and boots for a New Year's Eve party. Got lots of compliments on it both ways.

This zip up sweater wasn't just extremely warm and comfortable, it fit like a glove and everyone noticed'! Rented just for daily wear, I picked up each of my three kids to the tune of "You look so warm," "You look amazing today!" and (at my oldest's school) "That jacket is hot." It fit perfectly in every way and I was able to wear it over a ribbed turtleneck. Sleeve length was perfect and because of the thumb holes, no gloves needed! Terrific piece, perfect fit and apparently "hot!"

Fun sweater - back zipper detail was different.

Comfy sweater, the zipper on the back was great added detail to make it look more sophisticated. Fit perfectly in every way, except for the arms being a bit long. However, I'm quite petite so that was to be expected.

I loved the way this sweater looked with the zipper in the back. I ended up wearing it with the zipper in the front as the weather was a bit warm. This worked well with a short sleeve shirt underneath and allowed for versatility.

It fit well. Wouldn't be very comfortable to sit in all day since it has the zipper in the back, but I got lots of compliments.

I've only tried it on briefly so far, but I love it and can't wait to wear it on an upcoming trip to Munich in April. It's versatile. You can wear it as a lone sweater with the zipper in the back, or as an open sweater with the zipper in the front. Super cool functionality. The only downside is that it's definitely been laundered a lot. The fabric has that feeling of well worn.

Love this sweater! The zipper in the back adds a fun detail making it stand out from other black sweaters. I wore it with zipper in front as well for a classic look. Wish I would have rented earlier in the winter season so u could get more wear out of it. Too expensive to buy, but worth renting for a while.

Sweater runs small through the arms and is shorter than I had hoped. I also rented the L and I am pleased with the fit. Beautiful sweater

Super warm, very soft and the long sleeves with thumb holes are perfect for cold winter weather! You can zip the back of the neck up as high as you want, so if you're like me and hate turtlenecks that strangle you, just leave it a little looser. Might not give this one back until it warms up :)
