They are slightly larger than I expected but no matter, they are freaking awesome. You can wear with your hair up or down, both make an outfit way sexier.

A little on the heavy side but not to the point of being uncomfortable

This girl. oops) and I never get to wear the big, fun earrings because they are ALWAYS too heavy for my ears. NOT THESE! They were absolutely perfect. So light while still standing out. I definitely recommend these earrings for sensitive ears!

Wore these with the Pretty Woman Lace Dress from Nicole Miller. They were simple enough to work well with the busy pattern of the dress, but you definitely still noticed them.

Big onyx earings

Wanted to buy them I love them so much!

Wore these with a long-sleeve sparkly sheath dress that had a round neckline, looked great paired together. Kept it simple with a thick hammered gold bangle bracelet.

These were bigger than I expected when I opened the box, however, once on, they looked awesome. They are light so don't drag down your earlobes at all. And they just looked really stunning and added an extra touch of class to the black dress I rented. I received many compliments on these....in fact, far more on the earrings than on the dress.

The earrings did not have a scratch on them! Perfect! Although large and solid, they are not heavy at all and wore comfortably all night. Don't worry about the earrings being overpowering, they frame a face well and don't steal away from hair/makeup.

I rented these for my birthday and loved them. They were a little larger than what I'm used to wearing but it didnt bother me. They are a great basic earring I wore with my party dress and then wore it with jeans and and tshirt and they looked great with both outfits.

I loved these earrings - I wish I owned them! I don't normally wear big earrings and so my ears are really sensitive to anything with weight. These didn't bother me but at the end of a long night, I was ready to take them out. I definitely recommend them!

These earrings are beautiful. They are, however, quite heavy and by the end of the night I was ready to give my poor ear lobes a break. Don't plan on wearing them all day - but for an evening event or party, they're wonderful.

I wore these earrings two nights in a row! The first night with a more formal dress then, the second night with a more casual, fun dress. I am not sure what metal surrounds the onyx but I felt it could work well with gold or silver. My only (small) complaint is they are a bit heavy. Not horrible but just something to be aware of.

These are very pretty and expensive looking, but I am only 5' 4" size 00 and they were too large to wear, looked costume-y rather than elegant -- beautiful, but the large scale makes them too big for someone with a petite frame.

Classic earrings...I felt very feminine wearing them. They were a little heavier than earrings I normally wear, but nothing too overwhelming. If you don't mind a heavy set of earrings, I strongly recommend this pair.
