I ordered this necklace with the intention of wearing it on New Years. However, I ended up wearing a completely different dress that night so the necklace didn't match! I wore it a few days later just to get my money's worth out of it. It really is a beautiful necklace! It's quite large, perfect for a statement piece, and very unique! The necklace has majority gold detailing with black, dark brown, and dark gray gems. It would go well with plenty of colors. I paired it with a simple black/white striped shirt and it dressed up my casual look.

I rented this to be worn in my engagement pictures. I loved it so much that I decided to wear it again for dinner.

I rented this necklace to dress up a simple black jumpsuit and it did the trick. I am petite and often have problems with necklaces hanging too long. This necklace has a thick chain and hooks in the front, so I tied a knot in the back to shorten it, and it hung perfectly.

I rented this during my trip to Vegas and wore it with RTR's Slate & Willow 'Jessica' romper. I also wore it during the day with a tank top and shorts and it really helped to add a stylish, edgy statement to both looks. I love it. Note the location of the clasp on the left side of the eagle wing.

Gorgeous necklace, and works well dressed up or down. It looked fantastic with an Herve Leger dress for a party, and looked hot with a regular black H&M dress at work the next day. It wasn't as heavy as I thought it might be, and it brought an edge to my outfits while still looking feminine. I didn't add any other jewelry, because none was necessary. One caution - my necklace arrived a little broken because it looked like the last person didn't realize that you unhook the big hook clasp from the left front side of the necklace (you can see the big hook on the right side of the RTR picture just at the top of the wing), and just yanked it apart at the bases of the wings, opening up a couple of links on the connecting chains there. Nothing I couldn't fix with some tiny pliers to reassemble it and re-close the links, but make sure you check out the necklace before you plan to wear it in case you also get one that's been broken.

It is a bit long, but I managed to clip it a lil higher. It was a bit heavy, but not as bad as I thought. Overall, I loved it!

I wore this necklace as part of my costume for a Great Gatsby Halloween party I attended. It looked fabulous! Very easy to put on yourself as it clasps in the front. Bright, beautiful, a definite statement piece. Lays flat against your chest and isn't too heavy. I forgot I even had it on except for all the compliments I kept getting!

Paired this with a dress that I had been holding on to for awhile. Ended up being the perfect statement necklace. Wanted to keep it! Love love!

Great size for statement necklace and was proportional to my small frame. The hook clasp can be a bit tricky to secure, but it's worth it once you put it on.

For my bachelorette party I had my girls pick a piece of jewery to rent to go with their outfit on me. This piece was really cool. I thought it would be a little cheesy but was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box. Good size too; not very heavy either.

This is a beautiful statement necklace that I used to dress up a simple LBD. I often stay away from black dresses because I think they look a bit severe with my pale skin and dark hair. This warmed things up just the right amount. I like the necklace so much I felt bad about having to send it back to RTR.

This another beautiful piece of jewlrey from Kendra Scott! The only difference is the piece I received had an extra piece that hung from the middle, which made it even prettier (you may notice it in the picture). No problem though because it still looked great!

The necklace was exactly what I was looking for -- a black/gold statement piece that had an edgy feel. It laid at just the right length and the colors of the stones were perfect with my gray lace dress and black shoes. This was my first accessory rental, and I have to say I was a little disappointed. Clearly the necklace has been worn many times, which I understand, but it had been broken and repaired. The repair seemed a bit sloppy, resulting in the necklace hanging crooked. The jump ring used to repair the necklace got caught in the lace of my dress quite a few times. I will definitely give RTR another chance, but if I had rented a dress with comparable issues I wouldn't be happy.

It was a great necklace to add to a solid color dress! Would match bronze or black outfits. It also didn't get too heavy during the night which is a problem I've had with some other necklaces. Loved it!

I'm so in love with this necklace, it may even be my favorite piece of jewelry I've ever rented. It doesn't hang very low, sitting higher up on your chest so it looked really good with v neck cut tops. Not going to lie, I felt pretty bad ass wearing this necklace.

I wore this with two different dresses on the same day. It was a professional conference but this necklace gave my outfits a touch of edginess and cool that my inner 23-year-old self was craving to express within my 39-year-old body. I want to buy this! I didn't have any problems with the clasp like other renters-- maybe I was lucky.

It's awesome, just get it if you're thinking about it! I wore it with a plain monochrome dress so it was balanced. Although it is a large piece, the colors are not too bright so you could still wear it with a variety of outfits. Some people had mentioned it being broken or wonky but I had absolutely no problems with it, it was in very good shape. I thought it was helpful that the clasp was in the front so that it didn't get caught in my hair or anything like that. It is definitely costume jewelry and I wore it with a cocktail dress but I could also see it going well with more formal wear as well.
