Understanding that this is an oversized style, I found that the size XS (US 2) fit me properly in the shoulders whereas the S (US 4) was much too large even though I am a true size 4. Lesson, order down a size for this coat. It's beautiful and you will feel like a million dollar baby in this beauty. It's perfect for weather ranging from the 40,s (F) on down to the 20's (F).

Pursuant to reviews I sized down and this jacket fit me perfectly! The design on the sleeve is very on trend as is the plaid. The materials are great quality. I haven’t been able to part with it yet!

This coat is so chic. I love that it is a boxy fit and the sleeves are a bit long (they hit right at the middle of my hands). Definitely size down if you prefer a more smaller fit. The fabric is pretty light so it is a perfect fall coat. Or with layers in winter. I’ve been wearing it every day since it started to get chilly.

The sleeves are a little long on me, sometimes I just roll them under. It's more polished looking then rolling them up.

Took our holiday cards downtown Chicago and it was a bit cold so I popped on this coat and it was amazing! Love the orange lining. It's definitely a cost more than a blazer to wear inside. Loved it.

This coat added much needed color to my winter outerwear! I loved wearing it and it polished up casual outfits. Though wool, it's not terribly warm but the fit is great. Would purchase because the discount is so good but dislike the arm stripe. Why do so many RTR pieces (especially pants) have side stripes?! I think they greatly reduce wearability.

Boxy structure/ oversized, but intentionally so & looks beautiful. Gorgeous plaid with magnificent arm detail & pop of color in the lining. Easy to see how high end this piece is- I plan on holding on to it for a couple of weeks ❤️

grabbed this off the rack in the nyc flagship to replace a dress that didn't fit and it was new with tags!! wore it for almost 2 weeks. i would always go with an xl but the l was perfect for me, and i could wear layers underneath since it's not heavy. it was warmer than expected and the colors are beautiful!

Such a great coat! I received countless compliments on this coat and it was so warm without being itchy or heavy. The sliming line down the side was a surprise when I saw it but this was a great minor detail which made a good coat great.

The XL fits me perfectly - it's just the right slightly oversized fit. I've gotten loads of compliments every time I've worn it, and have held on to it for a few cycles because I just enjoy wearing it with so many things. Highly recommend!

I really liked this coat and got many compliments, but it was a bit large and could have gone down a size.

I sized down to XS and still had plenty of room. I wore it over a hoodie but also over a tight turtle neck. This was a really nice mid weight jacket for ~40-50 degree weather!

Neighbors. Students. Colegas. My best friends. My partner. My grown daughter. Impossibly easy wool. Spectacular pattern. Orange (!) lining and stitching at the button holes. Someone works for every occasion: walks in beaches and in parks; out to drinks; out to coffee; over a hoodie; over a short dress. I'm not sure how I'll give this one back.

Beautiful quality- love the marigold lining. Over-sized, so probably not good for anyone shorter than me (5'5"). Didn't expect it to be wool (note to self: read the product description), and thought it would be lighter weight. This is definitely for early Spring/late Winter. Can be quite formal/dressy and casual. A stunning coat- surprised!

Cute details and the cuffs hit just right. But if you want that hourglass shape you'll want to size down OR add a belt. A little itchy too.

Went down a size to XS after reading reviews. Sleeves were still long, and it was beyond boxy through torso. A bummer, because the material, colors, and detail were interesting. It just wasn't flattering at all!

I rented both the S and the XS and it was still unflattering and boxy. I love the pattern and colors and was so sad that it didn't fit well.

Not as enthralled with this as other reviewers. Maybe if I lived in very cold climate where I needed to wear tons of bulky sweaters underneath, this would have worked. With a regular seater underneath this still was very large on me. Unflattering

This jacket is very cool but it runs pretty large. I've tried sizing down twice and am going to order the XS next - which should fit perfectly. I do love the look and the cut though.

I am petite and the XS fit like an XXL. It looked absolutely comical on me.
