Simple but elegant
Try the different top styles! This dress has two panels in the front and two in the back that can be tied in different ways to make almost any kind of top (tutorial on Jenny Yoo website). I ended up going with strapless since it was simple and elegant but the dress can be very versatile. I tried the 2R and 4P and the 4P fit perfectly. Wore with strapless bra and wasn't pulling it up all night. The bottom just hit the ground in heels (5'3" with 3.5" heels).

Great dress for a black tie wedding!
This dress was beautful, and I received a lot of compliments on it! It did feel a little big in chest area, and I did have to pull it up often. Otherwise, I loved it and would rent again.

Perfect for military ball
I usually wear a size 4, but this ran a bit small in the chest area. (My mistake of getting a size 2 instead of 6 for my back up) Overall great quality, comfortable, and classy dress!

Got compliments all night long at a November wedding.
Fit my body well - pear shape with a smaller bust. Stayed up on the dance floor, although I was tugging at it a fair amount. Would probably stay in place better with a larger chest. I wore plain flats and they were well-hidden by the length. I wore a backless bra, which was necessary because a regular strapless would have showed in the back.

The color is unique and fit perfectly
I am small chested so I likely could have fit the size 8 but the 10 was comfortable! I am 5'7" and 150 pounds and usually wear an 8 or 10. So many compliments on this simple and gorgeous dress!

Felt like a princess.
The zipper was a struggle, but once past the midpoint it was fine. And it felt very secure for a strapless. I just wish I'd gotten it in petite. Even with 3-inch heels, it trailed on the floor, which was admittedly ethereal looking.

I usually don't like strapless dresses but I felt great in this dress. Loved how flowy the bottom half felt.

Beautiful dress!
The size 8 petite fit great except in the bust area. I'm a 34 DD and I had to size up to the 10 petite. I am also 5'4 and I still thought that the petite was the perfect length. It does say that regular fit is ok with someone who is 5'4 but I think it would have been too long. I wore two inch heels and it was perfect! The dress has a built in bust area for support. I still wore a strapless bra for more support. This dress was simple but really well made! I highly recommend it for your next formal attire.

Solid Wedding Guest Dress
Really loved this dress. Very elegant and fabulous fabric. Only complaint was that it was slightly big in the bust (34 B) and a teensy bit long (5'7") in flats.

Pretty and flattering.
I didn’t wear this dress, it was a backup in case I didn’t like my first choice. It was really pretty and the petite length was perfect for me with heels at 5’5. This dress fit well and had room for my bust BUT like other reviewers mention, there is a 2 inch section of the zipper that is a huge struggle even though the dress wasn’t tight. The boning and structure of the dress made wearing a strapless bra unnecessary so that was a plus.

Great Dress
Great dress- definitely runs small. I wear a 6/8 in jeans and was a 10 in this dress. I'm glad I ordered up based on other reviews. Looked fantastic and I got a lot of compliments.

Elegant and beautiful!
I didn't end up wearing this dress because it looked too much like the bridesmaid dresses, but I loved the look of it so much! It was comfortable, flattering, flowy, and has parts of the skirt that can be formed into lots of different sleeve/strap combinations that you can find on Jenny Yoo's site or YouTube.

I rented this for a gala I had to attend at the last minute for work.
Ordering at the last minute, my preferred size wasn't available so I knew this would be a little big. Thankfully the waist does come in a bit and there is some boning through the torso, so I was able to get the dress to work with double sided tape, an extra padded corset, and some 3" heels. I liked the flowy fabric and was glad I was able to make it work.

Zipper Trouble
This dress was beautiful. It's cut well for my curvy shape. The length was great for my 5' 2" body. We were barely able to get the zipper up and, once we did, it was almost impossible to get down. It was not too small. I had to bring pliers with me in case I ran into trouble, and I would've exchanged it if I had the time. Luckily, I was able to zip and unzip it the day of the event. I liked the versatility of the extra fabric and made a halter. I had way too much cleavage the other way,

Perfect backup
I ordered this dress as a backup for a black tie wedding I had to go to. Although I didn't wear it because of my other choice, the 2P fit perfectly when I tried it on. I just hit the floor without heels and was very fitting around my bust(Still needed a strapless bra) both of which are struggle areas for me with dresses. I will definitely keep this dress in mind for other events.

This was my back up dress. Had some nice features -soft flowing fabric. I didn't end up wearing it.
Some how the top (bodice) didn't work for me. Not sure if I didn't have enough up top to hold it up or if it was cut oddly, but didn't work overall.

Limited sizing available for the styles I wanted
I'm 5'5", 150lbs, and a size 6P. RTR didn't have 6P available, so I couldn't wear this dress because it was too big. The bust was floppy and I knew I'd have to pull it up all night if I wore it. Also, the regular length was way too long even with heels. I also knew that I'd have to hold the dress up to walk anywhere if I wore it. But, the color and feel of this dress is very nice. I ended up wearing a totally different dress that RTR overnighted to me since this didn't work out.

Top fit weird...
I got this as a second option and the top was way too big! It zipped tightly over my ribcage, but then stood off my chest. I've had four kids, so I'm not lacking but there was no way I could have worn this!

Dress fit great, easy to mail back, saved me money
This was my first time renting a dress. I was happy that I was able to rent a second size for free. That definitely helped ease my nerves because I was in the bridal party of the wedding I wore this dress to. The dress arrived a day early which was great. It was packed nicely in a reusable bag that made it easy to travel with. I usually wear a size 4 from LOFT and I wore a size 4 in this dress as well. The dress was clean and not wrinkled upon arrival, and the return instructions were clear. Renting a dress eased a lot of stress and saved me probably around $200. I would highly recommend renting from renttherunway. I will definitely rent from them again!

Beautiful evening dress that can be dressed up with some accessories or wore the way it comes!
Ordered as my backup dress didn't end up wearing but it fit perfect and is great for a formal affair. The dress is a little long so you need to wear heals even for someone who is tall like myself.

Fit the best for the ones I ordered
Pretty, light weight, but short torso so it bunched in back a bit- I could hide that though with the dress. There was a slip under and that was really tight... and it seemed like it zippered sideways. There was padding up top, so didn’t do a bra, but it was all bunched and I had to try and flatten it back out.

Nice dress, true to size, with some ultra-secret modification options
This was a nice dress. Pretty simple and felt / looked a little like an old bridesmaid dress I may have had in the closet. I generally wear a 6 in jeans / medium top and the 6 fit perfectly (didn't even try on the backup size 8). The top was secure but *felt* a little loose like I needed to pull it up. However, whenever I made that motion always realized I didn't actually need to pull it up. The hidden feature of this dress (likely not really meant to do this, but it worked well) is that there are two ~6" panels of fabric on the front of the dress and two on the back that are separate from the rest of the skirt. I used the front two panels to tie a halter strap with a bow that hung down my back and I thought it really jazzed up the look of the dress. I also experimented with using the panels to tie a belt (could be front, back or side) and every variation honestly looked pretty cute. Nice to have some options and a backup plan in case of a Rent the Runway same dress collision. I sadly didn't take a single picture at the event, but if I come across a picture of my modded halter, I'll be sure to edit this post with a pic.

Slightly bridesmaid-y but gorgeous color
This was my backup. Fit was true to size. Gorgeous mid-blue color. I didn’t love it because it felt too much like a bridesmaid dress and was not flattering to my midsection. Also, at almost 5’9” I did not expect this dress to drag on the floor. Wear high heels if you rent this!

Went with another dress. Great color but unflattering.
The bodice fit true to size and the color was beautiful. I never wore it though. It was so voluminous and unflattering in the drape that it made me look pregnant. I would recommend this if you have a bump to cover, but otherwise don't expect this to flatter a thin figure. Shame, it was so pretty in theory. Added 20 pounds.

Wanted to wear this for a Navy Command Holiday Party
This dress is beautiful in the picture, but I rented 2 sizes and the padding in the chest for one of the sizes had rolled up, and there was no way to access the pads to correct it, making it unwearable. Besides that, while it wasn't a horrible looking dress, the overall fit made me look like a pregnant bride, so based on the fit, I wouldn't have chosen to wear this dress anyway. There just wasn't enough definition in the empire waste to accentuate my short waste.
