The turtleneck part of this does have a lot of material, but I was completely comfortable in it. It's thick and warm and perfect under a jacket when it's cold out.

I am not a trendy person, but I liked the idea of a sweater vest type of style, so I tried this. I only wore with a long black sleeved shirt underneath since I was wearing in the winter and for work. I liked the high-low style of the hem because that meant it covered the booty more but didn't need to be tucked in the front. The cowl neck is definitely thick and a lot, but I loved it. I liked the way it sat on me. Overall, a great wardrobe layering piece and fun to try something trendy. Fit TTS.

Not boxy at all and turtle neck held its shape very well.

The arm holes are really large. I had to wear a tank under it to cover my bra. There was also a little flare where the top of the arms are that was little odd but I loved the heavy, soft wool.

Thick fabric with lots of neck! Bunches around shoulders/arm holes. Might be better on someone more busty maybe? It's nice quality wool but probably wouldn't rent again.

I usually love this sort of top, but for me, the fabric was itchy and the neck was too overwhelming so I felt kind of silly. Also, the shoulder/arm hole area was big so it basically just looked like I have really wide broad shoulders, which I do not. That said, I did wear it and give it ago but it was not my favorite.

Thicker material so holds the structure well and looks really high end. Nice and crazy too!

This is a very warm vest that elevated otherwise boring work outfits (while still being warm)! As other reviewers note, the cowl/turtleneck of the vest is really bulky, but it still worked for me. The fabric is a bit itchy at times, but not too bad. I'd rent again!

Loved this and wore it many times, receiving compliments throughout! The neck is super chunky making it somewhat of a statement piece while also being cozy. There are slits up the side which are nice so it's not too bulky. Overall loved it.

I thought maybe this would look weird because it requires a long-sleeved shirt under it, but it looks fantastic! This is a very versatile piece.

I wore this to work with a long sleeved tee underneath, with a skirt and boots. It's tunic length and a little shorter in front; it does cover your rear. It's a good option if you work in one of those places where they don't regulate the temperature well. I wasn't too hot or too cold.

A little large but looked slouchy without looking messy. Arm holes were definitely large as other reviews have said. Wasn't a huge issue for me

Fit felt tailored but still cozy. Neck was a bit itchy but that's tone expected with any wool blend.

The collar was so tall at first I wasn't sure, but I folded it in half and then folded the bottom edge up again in a cowl neck type fold. I thought it made the turtleneck more interesting and stylish than a typical single fold neck. I usually wear between small and medium. I ordered a medium and found that it fit just fine. But I think because of the wide shoulders and tall neck, a small would have been cute, too. I wore a 3/4 sleeve black fitted shirt underneath with gray jeans and sneakers.

Looked great with a long-sleeve black t-shirt, tight across hips.

the sweater was fantastic material and was very soft, but the arm holes were far too large to wear without some sort of long-sleeved top underneath. if I had worn this sweater to work, nearly everyone would've seen my bra.

Turtleneck was a bit long and couldn't be folded shorter because of the flared neck. Wish the shoulder didn't come down as a mini-sleeve. For some reason, felt a little like a knight wearing the top. I think because it was just so large and boxy even though I rented a small size.

The turtleneck part of this sweater is HUGE! I was laughing when I tried it on because it looked like I was wearing a sweater made for a giraffe! Mine didn't show even a sliver of my neck - it went right to my chin. Didn't end up wearing it, but if it was slightly scaled down I probably would have loved it.

Returned.
