Literally the most perfect classy dress. I wore this to an important work meeting, and received so many compliments.. and from people who normally don't comment on attire. Loved the top shirt-like part and the back. And even though it was very fitting (worn with shapewear), it was modest in length and chest. All around a perfect dress I'll absolutely be renting again!

Absolutely loved this dress. Surprisingly comfortable, and perfect for the headshot I had to take for my job. I'm 5'7" about 160lb and the 8 fit perfect, not too tight but I wouldn't have gone smaller. I wore this with burgundy heels and it looked great.

I have a large chest and found that this dress bunched above my chest and around the collarbone so had to adjust it quite a bit but even with that annoyance I would 100000% rent this dress again. So classic. I felt super confident in it. If you’re wondering if you should size up for your backup, I would as it’s a tiny bit snug.

I usually go between a 6 and an 8. The 6 fit okay but it was slightly tighter in the shoulders. The 8 as a flattering and more relaxed fit. This dress is perfect for a cocktail party-so many compliments!

First of all, as someone who sews, the construction of this dress is incredible. The seam finishing, inside, everything is really beautifully made. Secondly, I thought it fit beautifully. It is much longer on me than the model, and if I owned it I probably would hem it slightly, but the longer pencil skirt was nice in it's own way as well. I definitely will be wearing spanx with it (not wearing them in this picture, which I don't think does the dress justice anyway) as it does show panty lines. All that said, I definitely feel like a boss in this dress. It's a little on the fancy side for my office but I didn't feel out of place either. My measurements: Full bust: 34, Underbust: 30, Waist: 27, Full hip: 40.

I wore this on Election Day to support Biden. I felt V. Presidential. The dress itself fit very well, very professional, would be a great interview dress.

This dress feels great! It's a lovely dark navy color. The capelet/crop top deal makes the dress very appropriate for work. Since the dress is so long (I'm 5'8" and it skimmed my knees!) styling it was a little tricky to keep it from feeling dowdy. I styled it with black tights and pencil heels, plus a chunky layered necklace and hoop earrings.

It was a loose through the hips, but that’s a common issue for me. It was perfect otherwise. Great color, perfect length. The overlay adds interest and class to the dress.

very well made - form fitting

My husband said I looked like the "classic businesswoman" when I wore this - my job is on the creative side, so I did not necessarily take it as a compliment! However, the fit is stunning, and this is a really easy piece to wear for work or a more conservative function. The draping on the top makes it interesting, and it did feel like a special dress to wear.

This was a bit looser than the other dresses I've rented from this designer, but just about the same level of quality and fit pretty well. I did like that it had more room to move since it has sleeves on it. It's comfortable enough for all day wear at work. The material wasn't all that thick, so I could still wear it during the summer. I'd also note that the style is a bit odd in that the sleeves are actually just attached to the top part of the dress, so it's more of a cape with sleeves. Sort of hard to describe but I will say that it made the dress really easy to move around in. You can't see it unless you lift your arms up, but basically it's a sleeveless/tank dress and then the "cape" part so your armpits are actually not covered directly by fabric. I think that helps keep you cool in the summer and, again, makes it easier to move around in generally. Some other dresses are nearly impossible to move in since the arms make the chest so tight. Overall, it's a nice little dress for a random workday, and I think it'd compliment most body types given the color and cut. It's nothing to write home about and probably won't be a compliment magnet unless you dress it up a lot, but I found it perfectly professional and nice.

Fabric had some stretch and fabric darts in the front gave it good shape even though I wasn't the slimmest when I wore this.

Fits true to size with some give. Great for hourglass figures. And perfect for looking sharp when you want to wear a business dress without a blazer to a meeting. Was long on my 5’1” frame but I’m used to work dresses hitting below the knees. Very flattering. I considered buying!

I am thrilled with this dress. The fabric has just a little bit of forgiving stretch so it hides my flaws (tummy) and just looks really refined and sleek. It was a touch long on me, so I'm considering buying it (I think I'd get a lot of use out of it) so that I can have it hemmed.

I needed some work clothes since my body has gotten larger since I got pregnant. I'm normally a size 0/XS but I couldn't get any of my dresses to zip up when my chest got larger. This dress fit in a size 4 and it looked nice!
