I rented this for a charity brunch in the spring and it was perfect. I love this designer. His curves fit perfect and the look is sophisticated with a touch of sassiness. I felt like a million bucks and I would buy one in every color if I could.

Work this dress to a brunch - it was perfect for the event. It was a little faded, but the material was thick and comfortable. My measurements are Waist 32, Hips 41, Bust 34C and 5'9.5". The size 8 was a little snug, but I still wore it and received lots of compliments. I would have bought the dress had it not been so worn out.

Dress is thick and stretchy. Fits like a glove. You must get a low back or strapless bra or if you are small busted, you don't need to wear a bra. The color is beautiful. I received compliments all night.

I loved the color of this dress and got compliments all night. Everyone loved the back detail with the criss cross and openness. However, because of that, I couldn't wear a bra. I'd suggest a backless bra. I ended up going braless and it didn't matter whatsoever. It was great for a rehearsal dinner in Colorado. The fabric is nice and thick.

The dress is true midi length - it hit me just below the knees. It is snug, but such a quality material that it hides flaws. I did not wear a bra and because it was snug I didn't feel like I needed one. The only part that was a little off was that the straps seemed a little long and I was a little fidgety pulling the dress down. My husband just said he wanted to add the comment that "his wife looked fabulous!"

This dress is a beautiful color and fit like a dream (I ordered 4 and 6 as a backup, but the 4 was perfect, fit like it was custom-made for me). The back has criss-crossed fabric so you may need to get creative with undergarments (easy to just pin back of bra out of the way, in a pinch). Wore this to a day-time wedding and I felt very elegant, threw a shawl over it for church. Jason Wu is a phenomenal designer, felt so lucky to wear this dress! LOTS of compliments. A dress I'd love to own ...

Color, fit, and style of this dress were amazing. The cut out back provided a daring edge to an otherwise conservative dress. The longer hem actually made the dress more elegant. Fit true to size.

This was a gorgeous gorgeous dress. Felt like a million bucks! Wore it with stilettos like the model but black. Simple gold jewelry. The back is so subtle but sexy. Didn't need a bra-the fabric is pretty thick but the way the back is you may need a nu bra or something like that!

Well constructed and hold you in at all the right places. I had planned to wear a NuBra with it, but found the bodice supportive enough to go without.

Really pretty, well made dress. The color is more berry than red which was a plus. Material is quite thick so perfect for cool spring day - probably not for a summer outdoor event. Dress hit just below my knee - I'm 5'4" but it didn't look too long. So many compliments!

Very formal dress. Ordered it for my wedding anniversary date. When I received it, the back stitching was coming undone which normally wouldn't have been a big deal, but the back of the label tag is white and stood out like a sore thumb. RTR customer service was amazing, as always, and sent me a new one right away. My husband loved the dress, said it was sexy and classy. Fit true to size. I have a large bust, 32G, and had no problems fitting on the top, which is usually my issue with sizing. You can't wear a traditional bra though as the back criss-crosses. I am 5'3" and the length hit right at my knees. Will definitely be renting this one again!

I don't know if this runs small...but it is very fitted through the hips and waist. I just LOVED this dress, and everyone was stunned by it. If you toss a cardi over it, it works well for a client visit or day in the office. I will say that it wrinkles significantly if you're seated for a long time.

I ordered a 12 and would have need at least a 14. I am a size 10/12 in most other designers. It is really awkward to get the dress on and off mostly because of the design and the zipper is on the side but I think it would have been easier if it fit. The dress got stuck around my shoulders as I was trying to get it off and I seriously didn't think I was going to get it off without cutting it off. I'm sad it didn't fit. The material is stunning. It's a beautiful dress.

This is a heavy crepe dress in a charming berry color - with a jacket it could be worn to the office, which was my plan. Unfortunately while the dress fit my lower half, the upper half wasn't right. I'm short-waisted and this dress just didn't fit me. It was bunching and gapping in the back and at the waist. I think that your height is less important in this dress than your torso length.

Really pretty dress and very comfortable, but the top gapes a little at the arm holes, so you may want to consider that in picking a size.

The fabric is nice and thick, and hugs in the right places. I am between a 6 and 8, and chose the 8 since I wore this to a work party and didn't want it to be too scandalous... I got tons of compliments- especially for the color. I would definitely rent this again.

I sized up to a 6 after reading other reviews. The top was a little large, so I was self-conscious since unable to wear a bra. However, if the top wasn't large, I don't know how I would have been able to get into the dress. With no bra and a loose-fitting top, I didn't feel comfortable wearing it to work (looked frumpy with a blazer over it) but I wore it out for drinks later and got a lot of male attention.

I wanted to wear it to a work meeting but it was too tight on my hips. Not great for pear shapes

I really thought I could pull this dress off, but there's no way you can wear any kind of bra with it. Maybe just those cup style ones or the kind that doesn't go around the back (I don't own either and doesn't seem like I should need them for work dress). This isn't really a special occasion dress or fancy, the back is very cool, but any standard bra will show. Otherwise a fantastic dress.

This was a beautiful dress but the material was too thick and wintery for the spring wedding I rented it for so didn't end up wearing it.

I am a true 4 and I would say this is a tad lose, which made it even more perfect for work! It is a great colour, beautiful cut! The cross bit does require a non-standard bra, but it wasn't to revealing.

While the quality of this dress was fantastic, the fit was a little off with my athletic body type. The cross straps from the back also didn't fit well as they went around my shoulders.

I upsized based on the reviews but found it larger and longer for my petite size/height . But I still loved it!

I couldn't wear it. Great fabric, thick, just didn't fit at the right places. If I lost 10 pounds it might have worked.

I loved this dress. It was such a flattering cut. I'm a curvy 6 and the fabric was such a high quality, but have very little give. I had ordered this and another back up and went with the other dress. I would rent this again in the future. I was sad to not have anywhere to wear it to.

I thought I was going to love this dress but it was just OK. The material is very thick and the cut wasn't as flattering on me as I thought it would be. I did love the color, perfect for a Spring/Summer event. I would not rent again.

Didn't end up wearing because couldn't figure out a bra that would work. Tried a jacket over it but took away from the style.
