I loved the pattern and look of this dress! It does run small and not the most comfortable fabric fit but the look of it made up for it! Definitely recommend but size up!

This dress was a perfect fit for curves. You have to have a C cup or more for sure due to the shape in the chest area. Totally comfortable. I wore spanks underneath to help keep everything in place. Received a lot of compliments and paired it with black chandelier earrings.

This dress ran small, I wear a US size 8 but thankfully got the back up in a 10 since I read a review saying that if you had curves you should size up. It may just be in UK size. I wore it to a work holiday party and loved the fit and got compliments all night.

The fit was amazing - plenty of room to dance, sit down, drink and be merry throughout the evening. The material is high quality and extremely soft.

Love this color and the collar! A few warnings- I couldn't wear a bra to get this zipped but the skirt would've been too big to upsize. Although it was really tight up top, I got tons of compliments on my "Asian up top, Latin dancer on the bottom" dress on our date. The material was a little thinner than I was expecting but it is well-lined with an asymmetrical hem that wasn't too high on the left side. Enjoyed it and then enjoyed unzipping. Ahhh..

Dress is beautiful but not friendly for bustier girls! It's very tight in the bust area and because of the cut. I'm a 34D, if I was smaller chested I would have liked it a lot more!!

Loved the dress! Not stretchy and rubs small. I usually wear a size 6 and the size 8 fit me just barely. The colors and quality of the fabric are great!

This dress looks great on. I thought the neck would annoy me but it was perfectly comfortable. The length was perfect. The band around the waist is a little tight but makes the dress flattering so it's worth it.

The size 6 was a little snug but it didn't look bad at all. The cut is totally cute and the style and pattern was so unique that it drew lots of comments. It feels very high quality. Definitely recommend.

I rented this dress for a birthday party and I received tons of compliments! I would agree that it runs a little small. I'm on the small size of 12 and this was very fitted on me. I have a very small chest and imagine a person with boobs may have issues. I wore no bra and probably could have used some fashion tape to keep the top in place. It was fitted around the hips and butt. The detail on the dress was great. I dressed it down a little with a leather jacket, black tights, and engineer boots.

I wore this to a formal night on a cruise ship, which is probably one of the only places in my life I could ever wear this adorable but very bold dress. I had a short internal debate about cultural appropriation before renting this dress, but came to no conclusion other than I really wanted to wear this one time. The dress is very form fitting on the bodice, with a bit of a flare in the skirt. It fit as it should, true to size. I enjoyed wearing it to formal dinner and the casino afterward.

The dress is just beautiful! The red is stunning and the fit is weird for some but it is the traditional cut of a cheongsam dress. I normally wear a size ten and I ordered a size up due to the previous reviews and it worked out. The length is good as well. I thought it would be shorter but it is still at a conservative length. The material is not stretchy at all. I am overall satisfied with this dress.

What an incredible interpretation of the tradition Chinese Cheongsham dress! I wish it fit perfectly but the dress is so beautiful despite it being not as fitted on my petite frame. This dress is just stunning. The red is rich without being too flashy. The embroidery and button details are outstanding and the ruffle at the leg is super flirty. I am a fairly solid 6 in dresses and pants, and this dress fit me like a glove --- with no room for error. I actually tried on the 8, hoping for a little give, but it was way too big in the chest. The 6 was a bit roomy for me in the chest too, but I was able to use fashion tape to close the gaps at the side and underarm. The material has no stretch, so I'd go up a size on your back-up size. I love the cut in at the shoulders - it really shows off your arms and back in an attractive and classy way. I received compliments from strangers all night long in this dress!

The color and style of this dress are perfection! The hem is artsy and really different. Would buy but a little pricey sadly. Elegant, very wearable and flattering.

This dress was so lovely! The fabric has no stretch at all but it didn't need any, it fit perfectly everywhere. I think it might be best for women with smaller hips and larger chests, though. I was worried that I'd be too short to pull it off (I'm a smidge under 5'2") but the asymmetrical hem worked very well and I think would be flattering for pretty much any height.

I loved this dress. Orded it as my backup, and thabk goodness I did. My other dress didnt do my non-flat belly any favors. But this was very flattering. Very detailed pattern and unique style! This dress is fitted from the waist up - I would size up for your backup since there is no stretch to the fabric. There is not much room in the bust - this would work best for women who have A to C bus sizes. A racerback bra should be worn with this dress due to the way the back of the dress is cut. The dress comes to about knee length on a 5'4" person!

I really loved the color and pattern of this dress. I thought the neck with the buttons on the side were a beautiful touch. It was kind of a weird fit around the bust though...it kept gapping and I had to adjust it a lot. I thought the length was nice, and it was fun how it was shorter on one side. Had a little bit extra room in the stomach area. If it wasn't good enough to give it five stars- I would have bought it otherwise!

The 4 was too loose in my waist so it wasn't as flattering as it could've been. I was afraid if I went down in size then the top would be too tight though. For reference my measurements are 38,25.5,35. I'm a 34 DDD with a small waist so sometimes it's a little hard to find something that is flattering and fitted enough. The color is really so gorgeous it's hard to do it justice in photos but some of the embroidery looks like it's been snagged before so they stick out a tiny but but honestly it's not very noticeable and didn't bother me. I wore this to a cocktail party in Beverly Hills for the Lunar New Year and I felt like it really went with the theme.

I rented this for an afternoon December wedding at a luxury hotel. Was able to wear a strapless bra, with tape at the armpits. The color is a very bright rich red. Couple of things to note - the fabric is super lightweight w no liner, which I was surprised about for the cost of the rental, I thought the dress would have more structure to it. Second - be wary of the slightly odd armhole cut - instead of going straight from the neck to the armpit the fabric is cutaway, not hugely flattering. Lastly I have a super short torso, the 8 didn't fit at all because from the waist to the neck was too long. I'm sure it would be fine for normal length torsos. I wore it, it worked fine, but I didn't get any compliments on it which is rare for a RTR dress.

I loved the unique style of the dress! But the fit wasn't so great. Most reviewers noted the dress runs small, so I ordered sizes 2 (my regular size) and 4 as my backup. I have curvy hips and the size 2 was very snug in the hips. The size 4 was more comfortable in the hips, but too loose in the top, so I wore the size 2. The dress had no stretch, and I had to pull it down throughout the night since it would ride up and hug my hips. If it had some stretch it would have been more comfortable and would have been the perfect dress. I still received compliments throughout the night and was able to dance in it.

It’s a really cute dress and I would have worn it if it fit. I’m usually a size 6-8. I ordered the size 10, but it was still too small. A 12 would likely have worked.

I have a more athletic build with broader shoulders so I always order a size up. I could not even get this one zipped up all the way. It was good quality and cute, but just a smaller cut.

I'm not sure if this particular dress shrunk or if it's just wrong for my body shape, but it was tighter than spanx. I couldn't wear it and am thankful I was able to exchange it for something else.
