Glamorous and so comfortable all at once! Jonathan Simkhai is a genius. The detailing on this dress is gorgeous and it hugs you in all the right places for a super flattering fit!

This dress fit perfect. I rented it for a dinner in New Orleans and it sure played the part. The dress has pockets so I withheld from carrying accessories to focus on the dress. The waist cinches a bit, so I'd say it's true to size!

The V-neck is a bit deep, bit didn't require anything other than a regular bra. The fabric drapes perfectly and is lined, also not requiring any kind of shape wear.

I ended up picking a different dress for the wedding I went to and I'm glad I did because it was more appropriate for the occasion, but I liked how this one fit maybe for another occasion in the future. As other reviewers said, it is very hard to zip because it's so bulky at the seams- my boyfriend was complaining! The fabric is a bit itchy and snags easily so I think that would've been distracting if I had worn it. The colors are super fun though and I was happy to find a dress that finally showed off my waist (instead of the middle of my rib cage since I'm so tall).

The fabric is gorgeous however the fit it looked like a 1800's dress on me with all the fabric around my hips! I wore something else. Maybe if you are super skinny will look best.

Wonderful length, just enough to give a hint of shoe. Had slight difficulty with the zipper in back near the base of the torso. You'll need a friend to help you.

It fit really well. The zipper was a little though to get up at first but once I figured that out it was fine. It’s comfortable and easy to move around in.

This was a perfect choice for a black tie where I wasn't afraid to stand out. It was warm and I was able to wear a regular bra. If to hold weight in your middle you may need to size up. The zipper was a bit tricky, but fine once you got it closed.

I loved everything about this dress - I am not very tall (5'4") and the length was perfect. I got tons of compliments all night. It was comfortable enough to cut a rug allll night.

The shimmer and colors of this dress are great! I'm bummed to not have gotten a better pictured that shows the fit better but got so many random compliments thru the night' it is also great for cooler temps as it is a heavier, warmer fabric. Loved it and would rent again.

Would be an absolute five-star but the zipper was so wonky! Didn't think it was going to fit but once we worked with the zipper, it fit perfectly. Was worried abt the sleeves fitting, but also fit so well. Love!!

for a friends wedding rehearsal. the waist is snug and dress is long. but i'm 5'10 so perfect length with heels. i'm 145, size 4, 27waist for size reference

The fit of the dress was good but it was very long. The zipper was also very difficult to maneuver and the fabric snags very easily so definitely a dress you don't want to step on all evening. I am 5'3" and I think it would fit great if I were 6" taller. I rented for a wedding and ended up wearing a different dress just because of those issues, but the fabric is very beautiful.

The dress was the perfect fit, it just wasn't flattering. It was too matronly for the look I was going for. It was also really long...I would have had to wear heels higher than I'd planned.

Ordered this in 2 sizes (4 & 6), and the 6 fit perfectly. Very flattering cut. I waver between a 4 & 6 depending on style and cut, as I have a long torso. I ordered this for a black tie optional wedding, but ended up wearing the back up style instead, as I felt this dress was waaaaaay too glittery. It's much more sparkly and glittery than the online pics show - I felt it would be much more appropriate for a holiday party. I hate to say it, but I thought the fabric looked a little cheap?!?

Not flattering

This is a heavy dress and it has a ton of sparkle to it. I wasn't a fan of the material and ended up not wearing it to an outdoor fall wedding.

just fitted weird

A little itchy. The outer layer is flowly, inner layer tight so the 6 was a little tight , but an 8 may be too big. Because the two layers were so different, I felt like it laid oddly. Pretty but not my fav.

I didn't wear this one. I rented for a formal event and the fabric, though sparkly, didn't lend itself to the night, when a little more bare skin added drama. There was a lot of material but that may be because I had to rent regular rather than petite and it was too long everywhere. For me and my event it felt a little dowdy.

This dress felt like wearing curtains that weighed me down.

This dress didn't resemble the photos well. It looked like a costume. The photos are difficult to see well from a mobile device, and my app gives an error message every time you try to perform any basic action, such as adding items to your cart. So maybe it was that. But what was worse was the fit. Fit more like a US 4 then a US 10. Super tiny. I squeezed into it but it is just a weird dress. Strange cut, especially in the waist. The back sort of angles up like an 1800s dress. Not a cute look.

The fit was fine, but this probably isn't a dress you want to wear if you're over, let's say, a size 4. This was my backup dress and I'm so glad my first dress worked out because if it hadn't, I would have not been able to wear either. This dress was beautiful but incredibly unflattering. I looked SO much larger in this than in anything else I've ever worn. It's tent like and the draping just doesn't work on larger women. I did not feel comfortable wearing it. I honestly looked pregnant.

Great lined dress with pockets. I'm short, so it was a bit long even in my highest heels. Accentuated cleavage, able to wear a regular bra or no bra. Great sparkle, a low key show-stopper!

This dress is very comfortable with a kind of groovy 70s vibe and doesn’t need any kind of special “gear” underneath to look very elegant without being (unnecessarily) revealing. It was a tiny bit low cut for me in the front, but that was easy to pin. The colors are brighter and more shimmery than they look in the photos, but the jewel tones are still very pretty. And it has pockets!

Wore this for a NYE wedding and it was perfect! Super comfortable and easy to wear (there are pockets!) plus it's a show stopper with all the sparkle and fun colors. I received tons of compliments - this is the dress if you plan to own the dance floor all night. I played off the 70s vibe for hair and make up and topped it off with big sparkly earrings because this is not a wallflower dress. I typically wear a 4R and the 4R fit great. Be advised it is long though - I'm 5'8" and the length was great with low heels but if you're shorter you would need to commit to high heels.

Be prepared to wear tall shoes if you are on the shorter side (I'm 5'5").

Perfect dress for a winter wedding. The right amount of shine, fun 70s vibe, great fit! Side note it is very warm!
