The slit was a surprise considering I was going to work, but it all worked out.

This dress is beautifully made and looks chic and sexy at the same time. Although its not for the petite torso. Zipper at the back folds against your back. I wore it with a jacket so it worked out but wouldn't have beeb able to wear it without one. Got tons of compliments from strangers.

Loved the fit of this dress and the cheeky slit on the side. High waisted so perfect for Thanksgiving-- was not right around my mid section!

Looooved this dress. It's very lightweight so ideal for early fall. It is cut beautifully and fits in all the right places. The high slit in the leg makes it cheeky and fun. I couldn't recommend this dress more!

This was another piece that I really loved and hated to send back. It was incredibly comfortable and fit true to size. It's also really versatile, I was able to dress it up with heels or wear it with boots and a casual jacket on a different day. I also layered a crewneck sweater over top and kind of turned into a skirt which was really cute too! Plaid is a traditional fall print but I think this could work year-round.

Super cool dress! The ruching is flattering but not adjustable. As everyone noted, the slit comes up quite high so I wore with shorts, but tights would look good, too. I felt the slit was too high for work, but you could just be more mindful than me!

So in love with this easy casual dress. Flattering and forgiving around the tummy, YET still fitted! I’ve found this is not an easy combination to find. I would say - renters should be advised that the asymmetrical hem falls quite low, so for ladies under 5’4” ish, it might not have the most flattering proportions. I think you’d want the longest part of the hem to still fall at around tea-length. REALLY love the longer short sleeve cut with ruching!! Such great details to this seasonal gem.

I wore my usual size and loved the fit. The cinch accentuated my waist and the side slit wasn’t overwhelming. I wore with thick black tights and black pleather boots for a formal holiday dinner.

LOVED this dress. Super comfortable and unique. The slit is high so I used dress tape to make it smaller for a work conference. Very comfortable. The back zipper doesn’t lay flat, but I did not find it that noticeable

Love this dress, but had to hold my hand over the slit while walking around at work, because the slit is a bit high for the office.

Love the shirring around the waist and the flowy asymmetric hem. I wore it to work and it was both polished and edgy. I work in NYC so this totally flies. Only issue was the thigh high slit. It is mostly not noticeable because the skirt part is so full but I wore light leggings underneath for extra coverage. Fun! Lots of compliments…from hip teenagers no less

good work rental - a funkier version of a normal plaid look. the slit was a little high (i safety pinned it to make it a bit more appropriate). material high quality!

I wore this for Christmas Eve and it was perfect. The cut made it super flattering and the sleeves made it a bit more edgy. Like the other reviewers mentioned, the zipper doesn't lay flat in the back but it didn't bother me too much.

Wore this on Christmas Eve! Love the adjustable sleeves and the waist is super flattering. For such a heavy patterned dress it's still very flattering. If you have a large chest you may want to size up. The slit is chic!

This dress is really cute and fun. I loved the slit.

Shows off your curves perfectly. Material is THIN, so layer up if you'll be outside at all. The pattern is gorg, the gathering on the side is perfect, truly didn't want to return this one.

Really like this one. Will pair with opaque tights and some docs for a real 90s fall vibe. Great fit for hourglass shapes, IMO. It is pretty long, so if you're on the shorter side, just know that.

I really love how the model styled it with combat boots. The ruching on the waist make me look smaller. The split and asymmetric hem are what does it for me. I have to have this dress!

I think maybe because it was tight in the hips, the zipper buckled in the back, otherwise great look.

This dress did not disappoint - beautiful material, flattering cut and comfortable. Thought about buying. The only negative is the back zipper doesn't lie completely flat. But otherwise, it's fantastic

I LOVED this dress! The plaid was fabulous (cool yellow stripe in it); the sleeve ties are adorable; the gathering at the hip is feminine, the asymmetry is somehow not too busy. I paired with a clunky pair of Fluevog Mary Janes. Could work with short black booties, or Doc Martens, a super funky pair of shoes or even plain heels. The slit on the side IS too high and I was too clumsy with the fashion tape for it to be effective.

The design is unique and a color combo I don’t normally wear so it was nice to mix it up. The dress fit fine but I was fidgeting with it all day it just didn’t lay right. The zipper was all bunched up in the back and it made the rest of the dress keep shifting around.

Found this hard to style in a way that didn’t look like workwear but thought it was comfy and flattering!

I sized up because I was nervous the dress would be too tight in the shoulders, and I’m glad I did. The 6 fit great everywhere, but the zipper in the back bunched up awkwardly. The zipper also made it uncomfortable to lean back when sitting. The slit really only shows when you’re walking.

Got to wear this in Scotland for Christmas and received many compliments.

Fit well, slot was high but only when you sat down. Zipper had a bump that would not settle down. Wore with dark tights and k we high boots for nice church event

Warning: the slit os very high if you plan to wear this to work. I had to safety pin it so that when I sat down, I want about to flash everyone. I did actually really like the dress, but I think it would be better for some kind of fall activity, and not for work. The way the fabric is sewn on the dress is really flattering! It does run on the smaller side.

The design, feel and weight are great. Especially for fall. With some tights it would be good for winter. Unfortunately, I am too tall for the dress. The torso is short a the gathers hit me in the wrong places. For example the gather that should be at my hip is at my bellybutton. I would wear it anyways but I can't. The side slit is inappropriate for work. If you are 5' 9" or taller, I don't recommend renting this dress. Ps- it would be wonderful if RTR did tall section.

This was fun to wear! Love the conservative neckline and print, but daring slit takes it to another level. Fit was good. A bit tight in chest and arms, but wouldn't size up. The zipper in the back did not lay flat...this would be only complaint

I didn't think I would like the dress as much as I did. Flattering cut for hourglass shape, only thing I didn't like was the ribbons at sleeve kept untying and it gathered a bit in the back zipper area. Wore it for work with black tights and booties. High slit but tights compensate for that. Very comfortable, nice material. Would rent again.

conservative with a twist. form fitted in the waist. cool details include elbow length sleeves plus ties and a handkerchief hem.
