I sized up to a 6 (as other comments suggested) and it was a great fit! The straps were a bit long, but I used a bit of fashion tape and it was good to go! The quality is amazing and the structure in the top makes it look great all day!

This dress was DREAMY for a perfect day exploring Yountville / Napa. It made me feel like Princess Belle in a way! I definitely recommend for ladies who are at least 5'6 just based on how long it is and where the lines hit. I thought it was so flattering - and I usually am hesitant to feel confident in something snug on my hips. I took an 8 for the reason of wanting room in hips and glad I did. I want to rent over and over!

This dress is stunning!!! Does run small. I rented for a wine tasting weekend in Mexico and absolutely loved it. I'm usually a 4 but other reviews said to size up so luckily I went for a 6. The top is corset-like so is snug and would be tight if you have boobs

I loved this dress and it fit but not without the help of two friends holding and zipping it up. Kind of like a corset fit. I'm very narrow on my waist/bust (bust 32, waist 27) and the 4 was tight. It depends on the fit you're going for but would rent again (just maybe a 6!)

Beautiful dress and very feminine. I got very tanned so it was a nice contrast with the whiteness and blue-ishness of the dress. I used it all day and did not think it was tight (probably because I had sized up). Recommendation: Yes, definitely size up.

I loved this dress for my rehearsal dinner! I thought it was very flattering, and the stitching is beautiful. The only con is the straps! They're way too long. I'm almost 6 feet tall, so I'm not sure who would have the right proportions to keep them up... I usually wear a 10 in dresses, but the 12 fit me really well.

Loved the look of this dress! But as others have mentioned it does run small. I am normally a 4-6 and I wore the 8 with not much room to spare as there is no give. The straps were also too long so I had to pin them back with safety pins. But overall am glad I rented.

This dress is so beautiful and fun but it is extremely tight in the rib cage. If you are between sizes, order the bigger size and then the next size up as your backup. I ordered a zero and 2 but couldn't even zip the zero and could barely zip the 2. I ended up wearing it anyways but would have loved to have a size 4 and would definitely have been more comfortable.

This dress is so cute. I got it as a potential runner for our upcoming engagement shoot, but the fit is a little off. It fits beautifully from the natural waist down, but I don't fill the top out enough and the straps are way too long. Other than that, the material was good quality, and a little stiff so that it gives the dress some structure.

I am a 32C and couldn't even get this zipped half way up my back. I ordered a 0R, but I just ordered a 4R and maybe that will work.

Like a lot of the other reviews say this dress is super tight on the chest. I couldn't even wear a bra and I have a pretty small chest. It was also super low cut so I ended up wearing a jean jacket over it.

This dress runs a little small. I'm typically a 0 in a dress and this fit snug. It does have boning throughout the whole bodice. A bra is not needed.

This was a super cute dress but was not without issues. If you have any boobs, you are likely not able to wear it. It was tight in my rib cage and I was able to just wear a sticky bra to cover up my A-cups. I can't imagine anyone with over a B-cup would stay in this dress. The straps are not adjustable and are very long. I wore a jean jacket over it which hid the fact that the straps fell off my shoulders a lot. It's a back-zip dress. I had some marks from how tight it was around my ribs. I didn't mind, since it acted a bit like a corset. The length is pretty long. Probably mid-calf on me and I'm 5'11". Might be closer to a maxi for some shorter gals. The embroidery details were really cute though.

Wore this once. Perfect fit -- very flattering. You wouldn't know from looking at it, but it has stays on the sides that help give the dress structure and keep it looking nice even if you're sitting down. I wore it to a garden party. After a few hours, the stays made me really uncomfortable. If I was a smidge thinner, I might not have had that problem, tho, so ymmv!

Usually wear an 8, needed a 10 or maybe 12. Adorable, would order again in a larger size. Probably 1" open gap on the 8 for the zipper, no give.

I loved this dress but it was a little too tight in the waist/ back and I couldn't zip all the way. So sad because it was so cute!

I read reviews to size up, so I'm normally an 8 and so I rented the 10. Fit perfectly around the waist, but bra cups inside required more support as straps were a little too long and side under arms had a little too much space. So made do with a strapless bra and some fabric tape. Beautiful on and fits well. Heavier dress and luxe as I had hoped. Received lots of compliments.

I love Jonathan Simkhai; however, I'm finding more and more that this designer is not meant for anyone who happens to own a pair of breasts that might protrude from their body at all. Size up if you own boobs. The rest will fit fine!
