Loved this dress and never wanted to take it off! Thicker knit material so stretches and hides imperfections well. Loved the color. Very comfortable. Would definitely rent again!

Loooooved this dress that I rented for a fundraising gala event. The color is gorgeous, the material is high quality, and the design is so unique. Got dozens of compliments. A couple things to be aware of: 1) this dress weighs like 10 pounds, 2) the armholes are cut wide(?) so be prepared for potential side boob action.

Heavy Material - loved it

Not for those who want to blend in, this beauty got comments from “it’s giving Met Gala” to “Did you get in a fight with a lawnmower?” (To which I replied “yes, and you can see I won.”) The fabric is heavy and well-made. I got the M also and it would have worked, but the L had a bit more room up top. Definitely needed heels to keep edges from dragging, someone over medium height would have a wider choice of footwear, but it really is meant for an occasion.

I’ve rented this dress multiple times, and every single time I get tons of compliments. The deep purple color is stunning, and the hanging details are so fun and incredibly flattering. It is a tighter fit, but that’s part of what makes it so striking. Highly recommend!

I had the most fun wearing this dress to a wedding this past weekend! You could tell by the material of the dress that it was really great quality and really well made. Think material and slightly heavy, but overall fit really nice! I think the size I rented was a M, which normally is a little too large for me, but didn’t think it looked like it was swallowing me. I would have been comfortable sizing down to a small if they had it available at the time.

It’s a heavy knit material which weighs it down and it was giving octopus I didn’t wear it

This was a fun dress for my college event! The armpit area scoops in, so I did need fashion tape and a sticky bra with no back. The material is thick and heavy, definately good quality. The ruffle hits right under the stomach so was unflattering in some lighting

Shows all your bumps and lumps but it’s sexy

The dress is very heavy and it does fall down. I could not wear a strapless bra with it without the bra showing. I’m glad I ordered the small and medium, I went with the small.

I mainly love the uniqueness of this dress. The same day I was invited to a Christmas party. I got an email from Rent The Runway saying that it was 90% off. So of course I kept it.

I got both the medium and the small, and while the small did fit, it was a little more form fitting. The dress is made of stretchy material, so you do have a bunch of play. One thing to note, I am 5'6", and the "tendrils" that came down were almost to the floor since I really can't wear heels. Given it was raining, there would have been a non-zero chance of hitting them in puddles.

Maybe for someone else, but I found the dress soft (beautiful material) but heavy! The ruffles didn't look right or flattering on me. I actually never wore it because I didn't feel very pretty.

Wanted to like this but didn’t like the fit. The long strips were easy to trip on.

Loved this dress and got lots of compliments! Fabric is very heavy so I would size down otherwise by the end of the night the dress feels loose because of the hanging parts

this was off on the fit so I didn’t get to wear it. It was too long and a bit too tight. I ordered a small.

Was too big in the breast area and too long

I was so excited for this dress but it was so long in the shoulders the arm holes showed my bra. Wasn’t able to wear but would be beautiful on someone long

I thought I’d like it more than the other reviews- they were right- the strands are awkward and the fit was short and suction. Didn’t wear it :(

Do not wear this unless you have someone else to help you take it off. It is very heavy, and a bit elastic so it's tight. This makes it very difficult to pull up over your head. I had to bend over a bed and be upside down to get it off. Also the cut around the armpit is not flattering for smaller sizes.

Not the right fit for me however quality material and heavy if you like that.
