Wore the dress to a black tie charity gala. I ordered the 8 regular and 8 long. The regular fit better in the torso. Wore it with kitten heels. Though the top has built in cups , I wore a strapless black bra to help ‘fill the top’. Received lots of compliments!

This dress was perfect! I have a natural bigger bust and didn't even need to wear a bra with it! It's super flattering on the figure and I got so many compliments. Equally elegant, sexy, and sophisticated! ;) Definitely recommend!

Last minute decision to attend a work gala. This dress was perfect! Not too revealing, comfortable and fit like a glove. I usually wear a 10R, and was nervous that the 12L would be too big and/or too long but I wore a little higher heels and was fine. So many compliments!

You'll want this to be a snug fit for the bust support. Stretch it the fabric makes it comfortable for sitting. No one will have a dress with a back quite like this. Lots of compliments. Worn to a professional event and felt extremely put together.

Heavy fabric - would be great for colder climates. True to size, except for length. The "L" was really long, even with heels it was dragging on the ground. I would recommend some kind of support for the girls, no bra is great for smaller busts.

Absolutely loved this dress. I got it in a 12Lnand 14L. There wasnt much of a difference in the two sizes. The material was very stretchy and forgiving. Im 5'6" and ordered the long. I wore a very low wedge and it was the perfect length to not drag the ground but also not show my toes. My only complaint is that it smelled like body odor right out of the bag. It wasnt dirty, just didnt smell good. Very pleased with this rental. And $35 for two dresses is a steal! Five stars!

Stunning dress. The black keeps it classic but the cut is fresh. The material has enough stretch to add comfort and shape to your curves without being confining. Would definitely rent again.

The shaped aspect through the hips is VERY flattering. As is the lace back. No need for special undergarments in this one. And the fabric is lovely. Thick enough to flatter, yet not too heavy.

This dress was perfect for a black tie event. It is thick material but has some stretch to it. Very comfortable and flattering.

I am *still* getting compliments on this dress days later. This was so comfy, and fit like a glove with supportive, stretchy fabric. I wore sticky boobs but you could probably get away with nothing at all. Glad I got the "long" length, as it was just above the floor with my 3" heels.

I wear size 10/12 but ordered a 14 to be same and it fit great. I wore a regular strapless bra and it worked out well with the back. I had many compliments on the dress.

Wore this over the weekend to a black tie wedding. It fit absolutely perfect. The material is on the thicker side and stretchy, which made it super comfortable to wear the entire day. I sized up from my normal Jean size

Wore this dress to a more formal wedding. It looked very classy and fit great on me. I’m 5’7 and needed to wear heels, it naturally landed right on the floor. I have a smaller chest (A/B), not sure if it’d fit comfortably on a larger chest.

The Mermaid fit is great, but the back is the best feature of the dress! I wish I had gotten a picture. Don’t need a bra at all-fabric is very thick. A must have dress for a formal occasion.

Ordered another RTR dress that was much too small. RTR kindly let me choose 2 new ones, and I had the good luck of choosing this one! I have an hour glass figure with very athletic thighs - for anyone in that boat I recommend going TWO sizes up. I typically wear a 6 and got a 10, which was perfect. I am 5'9" and wore 3" heels - the L was perfect. The dress felt like a dream, I didn't want to take it off at the end of the night! Thanks RTR!

This was a great dress to wear for a formal event. I felt great & received compliments all night. The dress is heavy & lined which can make the dress hot. I ordered this as a backup, but after receiving knew this was the one. I would rent again.

Absolutely loved this dress. It fit perfectly and I got a ton of compliments! Felt like a star in this dress, very comfortable and true to size. The inside has a nude lining so it's not actually see-through and I didn't have to wear a bra with it bc of the material

I'm 5'8" and 150, 36C. Dress had enough stretch to be very comfortable but heavy enough weight to go without bra. I'm athletic built and was really worried about zipper closing but got it done:) Lots of compliments. I wore 3" heels and 8L was perfect.

Great formal dress! Very comfortable and true to size. Fabric was thicker and I would have been fine without spanx underneath. Wore a strapless bra, but would have been fine without as well. True to size.

So I rented this for a work holiday party. I weigh 170 lb and am 5'6". The material is thick and expensive feeling. The detailing on the front and back is beautiful. It fit me like a GLOVE and I would super high strappy heels which brought to just touching the floor which was perfect! The only thing I would say is that the back dips below the normal bra line, so I had to go bra-less last second because I didn't have any stickies. It wasn't a big deal for my tiny B cups, but someone larger chested may need to make bra plans ahead of time. I love RTR! I felt like a million bucks and got tons of compliments all night.

Wore this dress to a wedding on the beach and absolutely loved it!! Highly recommend getting a size bigger than your usual so you have some wiggle room. The length was perfect with ~2.5 inch heels.

I'm 5'7, 155 lbs and a 34DD. I ordered both the 8R and 10R, based on other reviews. The 8R was the best fit. I'm not sure I have ever worn a backless dress due to my chest size, but I was very comfortable in this dress. 10/10 recommend!

This dress was a replacement for me so I sized to be sure it would fit. I could have worn a 6, which is my normal size. I'm 5'1 and wore 3" heels and still needed to hem tape about 4 inches from the bottom. The dress is forgiving and very comfortable for dancing all night! Would rent again.

This dress was SO flattering and couldn’t have fit better! The material is thick and great quality but not too thick/heavy. The open back adds a little bit of sex appeal but it's still incredibly classy. FYI the appliqué on the front is not fully see-through.

This dress fit exactly as described and it was perfect! My only issue was the very difficult zipper in the back but the dress looked amazing.

First off the customer service RTR provided was amazing! I received notification the day before I was supposed to receive the original dress I ordered that RTR couldn't send it since it was either not returned in time or damaged by the previous renter. I called into the RTR customer service line and was met with a very nice young man that went through the filters of available dresses in my sizes that could be overnighted to me, he added them as "favorites" to my account so I could easily see them in the RTR app, and stayed on the phone with me until I chose one. He was very patient, truly concerned and extremely helpful. I received this dresses the next day and I think this style was even better than the original I ordered. The fabric is strong, with a slight stretch. I did have shape-wear on underneath to smooth any bumps, but I received multiple compliments on the dress all night. Wore this to a black tie wedding in South Florida.

This is a beautiful dress and I looked forward to wearing it to my gala. Unfortunately, the size 14 was not available and the size 12 was two small in the waist for me to wear it with my 38DD bust. I then rented a 14 for a wedding and I was able to wear it. The dress runs long so short ladies beware. If you are 5'7" or taller and a 36DD or smaller go for it.
