I really enjoyed wearing this dress to work, and would definitely recommend. There was quite a bit of fabric around the mid-section, so that could go either way depending on your preferences of fit, and it does have a bit of a slit in the front, as others have mentioned. I wasn't sure on the draping but it's gorgeous. Extremely flattering and a great color (more royal blue than navy). The slit goes all the way up so be cautious when sitting to cross those legs! Overall, great work dress.

This dress fit perfectly! It was both forgiving yet flattering. The split was a welcome surprise! I wore it for a Banquet where shades of blue was the theme - it was a joy to wear and comfortable too!

Great for work and could see at afternoon wedding, bridal shower. The front slit is higher than thought, and if you're petite, the hem is DEFINITELY below knee. However the longer length made the slit relatively more modest. Neck line adds interest, the pleating in front is really neat. The dress is darker in person than photo, so the pleating isnt so obvious. Because of pleating, it does add a little volume in the belly area if that's a concern. Got compliments.

Great fit, very comfy. Only thing to keep in mind, the slit in the front goes all the way up (sort of like a wrap dress).... so you have to be careful when sitting/getting in an out of cars.

I'm holding on to this for a little longer because it is such a gorgeous fit. I'm short (just under 5') so it was a little long but I paired it with tall stilettos and it worked well. I'm considering buying this number

It's form fitting to the waist and then looser around the hips. Good for my apple shape. The slit in the front goes pretty high so I wouldn't recommend for sitting other than behind a desk or table. Color is great. Not navy, a bit of a brighter blue. Loved the dress, work appropriate with a little extra.

The fit was a little loose for me. I would advise ordering a size small. Other than that i loved it. It was very conservative which was what i was going for. Color was the perfect navy, not too dark.

Very comfortable but structured which is great to camouflage problem areas. I did not realize how high the slit was, which made it slightly risqué for my conservative job. I got so many compliments because the cut is very flattering. It runs true to size and made me feel confident and sophisticated throughout the day.

This dress is made well, is ridiculously flattering, and classy. I wore to church and received a TON of compliments. The color is beautiful! The only issue I had at all was that when sitting down, the split was gaping so I had to put a shawl over my lap. I'll probably rent this one again.

The color of this dress is gorgeous! It's lined and the material feels high quality. Other reviewers commented on the bulky gathers in the midsection but I found that the gathers were flattering and didn't seem to add bulk. The only reason I did not give it a 5-star is because there is a bulge of material in the upper back zipper area that does not lay flat which could be bothersome if my hair was up.

High quality material that is very forgiving. Is just a bit long and could look frumpy on shorter ladies. Color is a purplish blue.

Loved this dress, flattering cut, slit length and positioning kept this dress work-appropriate.

It shows the curves respectfully. I have a tattoo on my arm and needed to wear a blaze to cover it. Even without a tattoo I would’ve still used a cover. It was a little snug on my thick arms. Caution when sitting, that slit is no joke. But it wasn’t anything a napkin could not cover.

Loved the draping and material of this dress. I probably should have gotten a 4, since it ran slightly big on me, so I belted it which helped pull it all together. the slit is high when you sit; you'll want to ensure you are aware of that for long meetings. Otherwise, fantastic new twist on a work sheath.

I wore this dress to an awards ceremony. Great fit and extremely comfortable. The only complaint is the split in the from. Luckily i kept the dinner napkin over my lap.

The app wont let me give 5 stars....but thats what I want to do! This dress is great. The color has a nice pop with out being all "look at me, I'm wearing blue!". I wore it for my day and switched shoes and jewelry to wear it to an evening dinner. I wore it with a leather jacket and boots during the day and heels in the evening.

I liked it a lot, and got complements from coworkers, but it was long on me even though im taller tha average.

Dress runs just a tad bit tight and the slit really is to risqué for me to wear to work. Would probably not be so bad for a less curvy person

The scrunch at the dress makes this flattering for any body size.

I normally wear a 12/14, but had to size up because there is no give and I'm very full busted. Between the 12 and 16 it felt like there was maybe only an inch more room in the chest, which is ridiculous, but (after getting a hand cramp trying to get it zipped and calling for assistance) it worked. Much easier to get off, haha. Other than that, gorgeous.

Beautiful dress, but the front slit is pretty high, too high for work. I wore blue tights with it to try to disguise it.

Don't even bother if you have curves. Impossible waist up to pull off.

Didn't get to wear this as I couldn't even zip it up. Not sure how this is considered a maternity dress, unless it's only for first trimester. I think the front slit, even if it fit, would be way too high for my conservative office setting. Material is quality though and it is a pretty color. Perhaps I'll try for postpartum rental.

Didn't wear it as my work conference was in Chicago where it was too cold and I couldn't imagine stockings or a coat with this dress. Regardless, I will have to rent again, maybe a size up. The fit is great if you want a sexy look - otherwise it was too sexy for my daytime work conference.

I've been wearing a solid 12 these days and this dress fit perfectly. I find myself having to wear spanx with most work dresses at my current weight, which is what made this dress A DREAM -- no spanx needed! The twist over your midsection removes any need for tummy control, but the dress still gives you shape by coming in at your natural waistline. As I write this, I'm disappointed in myself for not buying it ... Only downside is that the slit in the front hikes up pretty high when you sit down. It wasn't a problem for me because I was either sitting with my legs under my desk or at a meal where I could cover it with a napkin.

I wore this to work and then out for drinks afterwards. This dress fit beautifully and was very flattering. I wore with opaque black tights, so the slit was not an issue.
