I originally ordered another dress but someone forgot to return it after a long weekend. This was my backup option but I'm so glad this was the one I wore for dinner. The fit was perfect on my slightly hippy athletic frame. I can see how others with bigger chests had issues but as a b-cup, I had none. The length was cocktail and when sitting it felt a little scandalous. The cape was amazing! And the color was perfect too. Would rent again.

I am typically a size 4 and am 5’11” so I am always concerned about length. The dress runs small but the 6 fit perfectly!

I'm 5'8" and 135 and the size 6 fit just right. A little snug in the bust when zipping up and rides up on thigh when sitting but I don't think the 8 would of been as flattering and form fitting (some pics made the dress more shift/drape looking. The cape on the arm is cute but a little awkward when sitting, you need to lift it slightly so you don't sit on it. Great wedding reception dress!

At first, I was worried that I was walking a fine line of looking like a Hermione Granger straight out of Harry Potter with the cape piece of the dress. The longer I wore it, the more comfortable I got, and I really came to love the dress. Looking back at pictures, it really accented my body and was comfortable attire with class.

It's definitely a snug fit. I ordered a size up from my usual size and it was perfect. I felt like Wonder Woman with my cape.

Love this dress -- very comfortable and dramatic without being too flashy. I wore this with the Kate Spade Peacock Way necklace and matching bracelet (both also on RTR). I wore a bandeau bra underneath.

I did find the dress to run a tad small for me - I typically wear a 6 but it ran right across my shoulders and the cape didn't fall correctly - but the 8 was perfect and not too big anywhere else which made it nice and comfortable for dancing the night away! I got tons of compliments on the bright and bold color along with the style of the dress. A friend of ours said it reminded him of something the new Captain Marvel would wear.... I am all for girl power! Definitely a dress to feel sexy and comfortable in....it has it all!

The dress color is stunning and would look good on anyone. I wore this to a work xmas party and was extremely comfortable the entire time, but was glad I ordered the size 8 because I couldn't even get the 6 on. The layer underneath has very little give and was a bit tight, but it was comfortable enough. I couldn't even wear spanx, but the top layer was a tad looser so it was very flattering and kept everything in.

This dress was truly unique & fashion-forward! I wore it for a formal rehearsal dinner that I wanted to feel fancy for without being too flashy. This dress did just that. Very classy, beautiful, vibrant color & the cape gives you major Wonder Woman vibes which is never a bad thing! The fit is as you would expect in most places, but gets slightly more fitted around the stomach/hip area, so if you're a little hourglassy - make sure to get a second size up in case. Wonderful dress!

The shoulder cape was the perfect amount of flair for my event, made the dress formal enough without being too formal. The blue totally stood out. I rented larger sizes bc of all the reviews that said it ran small, but the larger size was a bit too big. I felt it ran fairly true to size (my usual size may have just been a bit more snug).

I typically wear a size four, and did wear a four in this dress. It is snug on the hips for an hourglass figure.

I got compliments on this dress all night! If you are broader in the chest or shoulders order a size up or the cape part won't sit the way it should. Otherwise it was great!

This dress was amazing, fit true to size, and had SO many compliments at the wedding I was at. Perfect for a formal fall wedding. Fun to dance in as well! As others said the hanging straps are hard to keep in the dress, fashion tape would have been helpful.

Ordered the 4 and 6. The 4 was probably the better fit but I ended up wearing the 6 because it was more comfortable for sitting, moving, dancing etc. I wore a strapless bra, which helped fill in a bit. Gorgeous color. Lots of compliments. Not too short nor too long and that cape added some flair you don't see in most dresses.

As others have said, the dress runs small - I ordered an 8 and a 10 (I have lost a little weight, so I figured if I was a 6 the 8 would fit, and if I was an 8 the 10 would fit). I was able to squeeze into the 8, but I was able to breathe in the 10. Fit well and the color is gorgeous. Decided not to wear a bra, but I did wear a smoothing brief. I felt so pretty in this - would rent again!!!!

The dress was comfortable and unique. I ended up wearing my backup size which was a size larger due to the interior layer being snug and the underarms a bit tight. Absolutely fabulous dress!

I normally wear a 2/4 in dresses depending on the style and I took the other reviews into considering when I ordered this dress but I wish I had sized up. The 4 fit fine but the inside slip layer is a little tighter that the outside layer. I wish I had ordered a 6 as a backup to see the difference but I still absolutely loved the dress. I felt amazing in this dress.

The lines of this dress are fabulous. The cape adds interesting detail. I wore this to a wedding but could have easily worn to a business event.

This dress was sent overnight as a back up to a dress that was delivered damaged. I was concerned at first because the size 0 was unavailable, so I was sent a size 2. I had to use some fashion tape to keep the dress in place (I'm tiny up top). Other than it being a tad big, this dress was fabulous!

The 2 fit like a glove. I wore an adhesive petal bra but with a standard strapless the bust may of been a bit too snug. The fabric and cut of the dress is so beautifully made and the cape and color were amazing. I would own this dress.

I absolutely loved this dress. The color is so striking without being too much. The fit is beautiful and the cape keeps it classy while the length keeps it young and fresh. I will say though it totally runs AT LEAST 1 size small. I'm normally a 10 and I JUST FIT in the 12. If you don't mind what size the tag says, don't miss this dress!

The color is more of a true royal blue vs. The electric blue on the model. Loved it!

This runs SMALL - order a size up! I am typically a size 4/6 and the size 8 fit like a glove. Great dress for petite girls that are athletically built...I was also able to pull off going braless with this dress, which is always a plus:)

I followed other reviews and sized up, so the 6 fit perfectly. I wore it for a gig and felt extremely comfortable whether standing and moving or sitting. It was a little windy so the cape billowed a bit which added a little unexpected flare to it. Highly recommended!

The material was sturdy, but not heavy. loved the blue color and the caped sleeve made it feel fancy and fun. Not a super fitted dress, but perfectly shaped and comfortable.

This dress is so classy! I felt incredibly elegant wearing this to my friend's formal wedding. Thankfully the size 2 fit my 5' 5" frame because the size 2 and 4 felt exactly the same.

I received so many compliments on this dress! I wore it to an outside wedding at the end of May and it was perfect. Only downside was the hanging straps kept wanting to pop out, but once I tucked them into my bra, they seemed to stay put. I am 5'8", 130lbs, A-cup and the 6 fit me perfectly. I normally wear a size 4, but I couldn't even get the 4 past my butt. If you are larger chested or pear-shaped, I would definitely size up! The hips and chest are very straight with no give. So for me who has a tiny chest and little to no hips, it was fine. I will def rent this one again!!

Great color and the one arm with the cape makes this a standout. I wore this to a wedding where the dress code was not called out so wasn't sure how fancy/casual. The color makes it different than all the LBDs. The side cape adds a bit of flair, but is not too much. It's very elegant. The fit is true to size. There is a layer underneath that keeps the lines smooth and the top layer is a light crepe that does not wrinkle. I'll wear this again for sure!

For true to size, the 6 was a little too lose for me.

I am 5'2 1/2" and 105 lbs. The dress fit well. The bust seam on the left side was a bit off, but I think it was due my strapless bra continuously falling down. If you have the right bra it should be fine. It was very comfortable.
