Loved this dress! Fit perfectly except the straps were too long like the other reviews said and I'm on the bustier side so I kept having to check my cleavage

This dress was absolutely amazing. I loved the fit (although I could've used a smaller size)! The dress its self is a very nice grayish-beige lace with a light pink slip underneath. I would highly recommend renting this dress. The only downfalls were even though it was a long (2L) , it barely passed my feet in flats and that I had to keep my posture in order to prevent the straps from falling. Other than that loved, loved, loved it! Will be renting again.

I am a curvy girl that does not exactly love my curves. I try to stay away from tight dresses because I feel like my curves and booty are all kind of one... I call it a buck (When your back and your butt just blend together like a blob) My husband however does not mind my so called buck and enjoys me in a tighter fitting dress. Since we know he won't be around for the ball next year I tried to find a fit that I would be comfortable in and he would love. Also wanted to keep it classy and appropriate for the event. This dress was very flattering, stayed wrinkle free and did not stretch out like some form fitting dresses I have tried in the past. Though it was low cut I did the peak a boo test to make sure I wouldn't flash anyone, the reach over, arms up, bent down and there was no Janet Jackson moments. I was a little concerned with the length being almost 5'8 in heels but it was perfect! Cons, you def need a good tan or spray tan to pull off the color, I would not rent if I was going to be over 5'8 in heels and I was a little disappointed the dress wasn't exactly as the model pic. There is no lace over the tatas that I thought would distract from my cleavage. They also did not have any other sizes to send me so I really lucked out that it was true to size, I think the 4 actually fit me better then my usual size 2.. Still give the dress 5 stars for making me feel comfortable and sexy in my curves while enjoying a very special night with my husband kid free!

I loved wearing this dress! It fit and looked great. I ordered a 6 long and an 8 long, and went with the 6. It was a little tight in the hips but fit better everywhere else than the 8 did. Even though I ordered a long, I definitely could not have worn heels with this dress. It just barely skimmed the floor when I was wearing flats. Other than that, it was perfect!

Amazing! Fit incredible and I got compliments all night long! I'm 5'7, so I did have to wear low heels for the dress to hit the floor, totally worth it! I would rent this dress again and again. You won't be disappointed!

Fits true to size. My weight fluctuated during this time due to stress and I thought I needed the six, but the 4 worked perfectly. Definitely would rent this one again!

This dress was gorgeous! I received so many compliments all through the night. I felt very old school movie star in this dress. The dress came right on time and in perfect condition. I ordered a 6L and backup size 8L. I am a true 6 but wore the 8L because I felt the 6 was a little tight in the hip area and I wanted to be able to dance comfortably. I wore 3 1/2" heels and the dress hit the floor perfect. The straps did fall down while dancing because a little loose, but they could've been pinned, just didn't have time to fix. I would rent this one again.

The back straps are slightly large. Everything else is very hugging, and flattering.

The dress is very nice and I honestly loved it. I wore it to someone else's prom and everyone kept complimenting it. The dress does run a little small; it's very snug in the hips and midsection but I managed to squeeze in. Also, I'm 5'5" and ordered the 4 Long which I thought would be good but with 5" heels, the dress did not touch the ground unless I kept pulling it down. This doesn't really take away from the effect though. You can't wear a bra with it and you may want to wear sticky boobs but I didn't and it was fine. The one problem I had most with this is the color. The picture on here doesn't really show it properly. The dress is less pink and mostly nude coloring with soft undertones of light pink and gray. I had to buy a different bow tie for my date when it came. If you have to match with a boy you will probably want to wear it with a nude colored tie. Like most people said, the straps were long but if you take the middle straps and tie them with thread and have your hair cover it it gives the look of the straps just being crossed across your back and you can't tell that they're long. Overall, this dress was great and I'm very happy with it.

I ordered both the 8L and 10R if you have large hips consider sizing up, I was certain the 8 would fit me but was it a struggled to put it on since the 10R wasn't able to be sent to me. The dress is overall very fitted also if you have a larger back like me you might also want to consider sizing up this dress is so beautiful though I would rent it again. The dress seemed to come very wrinkled from shipping so make sure you can get it steamed somewhere. I'm 5'8 and wore 4 inch heels and it worked fine after I steamed the lining a couple times.

I expected, if anything, for the dress to be small since they are runway dresses. I was wrong, I first tried on the 0, and it was big so I didn't even touch the 2. Im small all over except in the hips so the straps ( as expected from reviews) were very very loose, especially on someone with no shoulders like me. My cup size has also shrunk so the bust was big before getting a stick-able cup bra to fill it out and for support. I wore 3-4 inch heels and the length was perfect, still long and to the ground but wasn't dragging like a train. It hung off my back slightly, because I don't fill out the waist or the butt part, so a family friend saved the day with quite a few pins and needles as well as some tape. After pinning the dress and such it (almost) fit like a glove. I was disappointed that it didn't have the un-hemmed lace trim around the neckline like the picture though. Despite being too small/tall to fill it out as a grown woman would, it was an incredible and gorgeous dress, I highly recommend it!

My model is just shy of 5'10" so heels just didn't work because the dress just wasn't long enough and it looked strange when we did try it with heels. The dress is very sheer-make sure you feel comfortable without panties and have your petals ready. Model is normally a 2/4 so we went with the 6, the straps were the only thing that was loose .

Would DEFINITELY rent this dress again! Worn to my sorority spring formal. Not sure if I'm a size 4 or 6 in JILL STEWART, but 6R was all that was available at the time and it worked perfectly! The straps were too long (as many of the other reviews said as well) so I just did temp stitches to make them shorter for the evening. It has a very flattering fit and the grey overlay on the light pink lighting was really pretty. I tanned for about a month prior to wearing it because although the color is pretty, it would have definitely washed me out. I'm 5'6" and wore flats- would have needed a 6L if I had wanted to wear heels. Also wore a sticky bra because a normal bra would not have worked

Loved how this dress fit, wasn't too snug. The straps could have been like 2 centimeters shorter. Shows off your assets really well ;)

The dress is very tight around the thighs but that's how it was meant to fit. The straps were a little loose so I used fashion glue to make them stay. I was worried about the length but with high heels it worked out. Wore a sticky bra because of the low back.

I usually wear a 6 so I got the 8L as the backup and I am glad that I did - I am small chested but have a tiny waist and big hips, and their is no give in the hips whatsoever. The straps are loose but I have a longer torso so I didn't notice them drooping as much as some other girls who've rented this gown who are shorter in stature. Being small chested I was fine with the top of this gown but if you're larger than a B cup you will probably notice lack of support. I'm glad also that I chose the L because in heels it is definitely a requirement. Thank you again RTR for making me look beautiful next to my Marine!

The fit was perfect with a size 8L. If you are 5'5 and up with heels you'll want to get the long dress. It is very tightly fitted so be prepared to sit down funny. Especially if you have a body shaping piece underneath. I received many compliments and love this dress. You will have to sew the straps in the back

I really liked this dress! I wore it to a black tie wedding. The bottom of the dress is flowly when you walk and its really pretty. I didnt have a problem with the straps being too long with the 0R, which I read other people had problems with. I did think the boob area felt weird on me, like it was too close to my arm pits. However, once i put in my sticky push up bra cups (the kind i got stuck to the dress instead of my skin), the boob area looked better. It looks like a lighter color in the RTR picture, but it definitely doesn't have the white factor to "compete" with the bride. The lace is a more gray color and the underneath the lace is a light pink. I got compliments all night!!! My only issue was that since I'm pretty slender, the dress did not hug my lower back. So it kind of just looked like my lower back was in a straight line with my butt.

The only problem with this dress were the straps. The body and bust of the dress fit perfectly, but you have to get creative with the loose straps. Otherwise, it looked great!

Beautiful, fitted through hips and does wonders for the booty with the mermaid cut. I wore the long dress with tall heels and I'm 5'6" which was perfect. It needed fashion tape for the top and I used bathing suit cutlets because I couldn't wear a bra with the low back. Also, the straps were way too long so I tried to fix it with safety ions which ended up being a disaster. Still I managed to hide that part and it was still really beautiful. The lace had some issues like a pull in the rear but whatever.

The straps in the back are DEFINITELY too long, so get ready to get out your sewing kit. I found that I was confused on what the color would really look like due to peoples pictures, but the layer underneath is a light pink and the lace IS a grayish. For this dress, go for a very neutral shoe. Also, I'm 5'5 and without very high heels the dress was too long, but with them it was fine. I thought it ran a little small, I was sure that the 6 would fit me but I ended up wearing the 8. It really doesn't have a lot of stretch or give especially in the hips. ALL IN ALL the dress was lovely and beautiful and I was sooo happy with it. I would recommend it for sure, it's super unique & elegant. It helped make my prom unforgettable.

They did not have a zero avaliable which is my size. It was a little too big and the straps were loose but otherwise the dress was beautiful!

I am usually a 2-4, but I read reviews that said it ran big, so I got the zero as a backup, and thank god I did because that is the one that fit, the 2 was too big, so for me at least the dress ran big. I have a pretty small bust and a big butt, so I wore a sticky bra, and it added just the right amount of support. I have no complaints about this dress, it was comfortable, and classy yet sexy, and I received so many compliments on it throughout the night. However with that said, the longest straps in the back were very loose, and that was my only issue, but I pinned them together and the problem was solved, so in the end I had no problems with the size and fit.

The dress is a beautiful beige with a light pink full length slip underneath, which gives it a beautiful, romantic look. The straps were very, very loose, however, so I had to pin them. This dress is extremely formfitting and gorgeous, and just know that it doesn't stretch whatsoever around the hips. For me, it was a bit tight and constantly sitting and then standing was a bit difficult, but the dress looked AMAZING. If you love to be comfortable and feel like you are free to move a lot, this dress is probably not for you. But it definitely is stunning. I was back and forth between wearing the 2 long and the 4 long, but I liked the length of the 4 a lot better. I was able to wear heels and it was perfect.

I love it so much. It shows enough skin and hugs your body, while maintaining a really classy look. The only problem I had with the gown was that the bust area was way too big and the straps were really long. It may be because I ordered a long and should have gotten a regular. Other than that the dress was perfect and definitely completed my night. I wouldn't hesitate to rent this dress, despite the slight complications I had with it. It's totally worth every penny.

I ordered this dress for a 1920s themed party. It was a gamble for me because the size I wanted (2R) wasn't available for my dates, so I ordered the 0R instead. The fit was still okay for me. It was a lovely dress, and I really liked the skirt, but ultimately chose to wear my "back up" dress because I just didn't feel the neckline was appropriate for a 1920s gown (I went with the Carmen Marc Valvo Lady Lace Sequin). The only negatives: the straps were a bit long, so they didn't lay easily across the back as in the model picture; and the seam down the very front of this dress was much more obvious than I anticipated-- I found that a little distracting. The skirt was fun though, and the lace beautiful. I may have worn it all night if not for the "1920s" attempt. :)

I rented this dress to wear to a friend's Great Gatsby themed birthday dinner, but I was disappointed with the fit. The 6R was way too small in the hips, and the 8R was way too big in the bust. I returned it for a credit, and I'll go to the mall to look for something else since the dinner is tomorrow, and I don't want to take any chances with the replacement dress not fitting. RTR's customer service was awesome throughout the process-- especially since I contacted them after their normal business hours. I tried it on with my accessories to get "the full effect"... The dress has ZERO give in the hips. This would probably best fit someone with narrower hips and a bigger chest. My chest isn't small by any means, but the 8 was waaaaay too big up top (as you can see in the pics). The straps in the back just hung there because it was so big, and sitting down would have been precarious with the tight fit in the hips. The length was fine.

I would have preferred the 0 I ordered, since it does run true to size. However; my order wasn't shipped, so I'm grateful we at least got this one. Straps kept sliding off , and there was extra material in midsection, but I loved the overall look.

Really loved the color of the dress most, it's like a dusty pink. The detail is also beautiful and delicate. The only "bad" thing is that the straps in the back are really long. They never fell off or anything but I was constantly adjusting them. Overall really happy with the dress.

The dress fit well only issue as with everyone else was the straps. Later in the night I used tape to keep the straps from failing and to prevent the plunging neckline from being inappropriate LOL. Also I wish the long was available because I didn't love the 6 regular length. Overall it worked because I needed that color.

I'm extremely curvy and this dress was so flattering the way it hugged everything. The breast area was a little small and the straps a little long, but nothing we couldn't fix. It was so unique to all the other dresses and I got compliments on it all night!

Being a short girl, I was hesitant to rent a gown; however, this fit was perfect for me. The dress hugs you in all the right places and is very flattering. I wore 5 inch heels and didn't have an issue with the length. My only problem was the the straps in the back were wayyy too long - I threw in some temp stitches and it was fine for the night though. I felt very glamorous in this dress, and I couldn't believe the amount of compliments I got all night long. I would definitely recommend this dress!

Back is worth all of it. Forget accessories. Just throw on earrings and maybe put your hair up. It's the ultimate mermaid dress!

Length was perfect with a high heel

Fit was a bit snug but OK for me as long as I drank my cucumber juice for 24 hours prior:) The straps in the back needed pinning. The boob department was tough as I have nursed 3 babies and was not filling it out right...needed cups but did not have them so I relied on Hollywood tape. My sister kept coming over to me and adjusting me so I would remain appropriate:) I would however, rent it again even though it was high maintenance because of the the stunning, unique, elegant beauty of the dress. It felt very Hollywood, my hubby loved it too!

I rented this dress for my reception dress at my wedding. It's truly beautiful and fit like a glove. It was a little bit long but nothing heels couldn't fix. Also, the straps did fall over throughout the night so you'll have to be careful with that. Otherwise, I love it. I would buy it if I could and alter it to fit me perfectly. The dress was also very comfortable!

This was my backup dress and it was so gorgeous I almost wore it. However, it was a little tight. Consider a size up as a backup. If I had a size up I would've worn it.
