I wore this dress to my very first Broadway show in NYC and I could not have been happier with it! I ordered a size 4 and a 6 but never tried on the 6 because the 4 fit perfectly. I'm usually one or the other so I will say the dress runs true to size. Based on the other reviews, I was a little worried about too much side boobage, but I'm small chested so I didn't have any issues at all there. I will say that the band around your waist is quite snug so if you plan to eat anything that night, you may feel some discomfort. In NYC where there's tons of people walking around, it was really nice to get so many compliments...and I got tons! Such a simple, yet elegant dress. I would definitely rent it again!

Great fun dress for a rehearsal dinner. Fabric is nice and thick so even though the neckline and arm holes dip really low I still felt supported. It is such a sweet color and skirt, and the neckline gives it just enough edge. Received lots of compliments! Would wear again!

I am 5'9" and weight 128 lbs. I am a 34 A. I usually wear a 4 but it was huge on me so I'm glad I got a 2 as backup. The 2 was still big on top so I used tape but I loved this dress so much!! My favorite so far. The door man even looked at me and said "DAMN!" I think this works better on small chested ladies but you will need tape.

I wore this dress for a yacht club wedding in November. It was a little tight around the ribs but otherwise comfortable and pockets are always a plus!

I normally wear a size 4, and this one fit perfect. I get what the other reviews were saying in regards to the traps being a little long. I had to fashion tape them, but it really wasn't that big of a deal. I felt like a princess! Everyone loved it, and the fit is very flirty and girly. The waist is pretty tight right where it flares so I wouldn't recommend a size down

My sister wore this dress to her birthday party and it fit perfectly. She is 5'6", about 125lbs., and 34B. She received a lot of compliments and the dress was well made. She did use a lot of double sided tape since the dress was really low and the sides were as well.

I wore this dress for my May bridal shower. It was sexy and classy at the same time! It ran a little large, but I used fashion tape to make sure the front stayed modest. Some girls mentioned in their review that they felt like a cupcake in it. I felt like a sexy little bride!!

This dress was so cute! I got tons of compliments. The skirt is very large, but I loved that. My only real complaint is that it was sightly large in the bust area and fashion tape didn't secure it very well for me, which is why I wore the little jacket you can see in one of my pictures, but overall I really loved the look and feel of this dress. I didn't want to return it!

This dress was tight in the rib area but loose in the shoulders. It was super flattering and photogenic!!

The top was too big for me up top so I had to use sticky tape to keep the dress from falling off of my shoulders. Other than that it was very cute!

The color pink is a little brighter than in the picture but I loved the color in real life. Plus it has shimmer that you can see on the model and I loved that as well. The fit was really nice in the waist and the poof of the dress was flattering, however, the straps were huge on me and I had to use a lot of styling tape to keep it into place. I went up a size because the other reviews told me it was tight in the waist but I kept worrying about how my straps looked. I would probably go down a size if I rented in the future.

I ordered this dress for our vacation. The resort was having a big blow out anniversary party. I received a ton of compliments! The dress is very flattering for those of us with hips! The cut in the front and the back is super sexy! Two cons I found were the location of were the waist of the dress hit was right on my rib cage, so it felt super tight! The second is you have to use dress tape, or at least I did, otherwise the straps would fall down and I would be popping out! It wasn't bad but the tape got annoying by the end of the night and I was ready to get it off! I wore strappy black heeled sandals! All in all, it's a beautiful dress!

It rained all night at this backyard wedding, luckily I had my rainboots in my car! This dress is true to size. If you have a small bust, and short torso, be sure to buy the fashion tape and have some safety pins ready. I had to safety pin about an inch down in the back so the dress fit in the shoulders. Then I taped it down in the middle. I received so many compliments on the color- just so you know there is a bit of metallic pink in the fabric. All in all it's great for hiding hips and drawing attention elsewhere. Plus the pockets are pretty awesome!

I was a little worried about the dress because the backup size was unavailable and the other reviews said the straps were too long, but it actually fit me because I'm large chested so the straps fit fine. The straps might be too big if you are petite or small chested so prepare to use fashion tape if necessary. It's also better for people with smaller rib cages since it's pretty tight and I even had trouble breathing at the end of the night. Otherwise, it was super awesome and really fun to wear for an outdoor wedding. It's a beautiful fit and color that shimmers in the sun with fantastic cleavage and side boob.

The ONLY con is that it's a bit big and tricky on top. The straps like to slip off your shoulders. Take extra care to prevent wardrobe malfunctions, or you will bare your bosoms to everyone.

This dress is perfectly cute! Love the color (and I don't even care for baby pink that much), the thicker fabric, the puffy but not too poofy skirt, the pockets, everything. My only complaint is that my upper body is petite (boobs, shoulders, torso) and this dress definitely needs to upper body heft to fill it out. I managed with stick in boob cups, and double sided tape everywhere. So cute for a summer wedding. Paired with gold glittery shoes and the look was perfection.

I loved this dress it fit perfect. Many reviews said to use fashion tape so I did on the straps but I don't think it was a must. This dress is a really cute, pretty, pink dress, perfect for a Summer wedding. However, the straps do tend to run large (or tall?) and you definitely need some garment tape to keep them in place. I found if i taped the back of the straps first, the front of the dress held into place pretty well. It's a shame, because it makes the dress uncomfortable to wear since you are always worried it will slip off or look messy on. Even in this photo you can see where the tape was tacked up front causing a buckle to the photo. If you have a long torso this dress could be the dress for you!

I rented this dress for my friend's Bachelorette Party (pictured). I loved the light pink color and the sexy low sides. I received several compliments! I wear between a 2 and 4, and I ended up wearing the 2. The straps are relatively long, so if you are in between sizes, I would suggest sizing down. Because I wore the smaller size, it was a little snug around my rib cage. So, it wasn't very comfortable sitting down for extended periods of times, but standing up it was okay. The bottom of the dress was a little poofier than I expected, but it just made the dress more fun. Overall, a great rental!

The fit was really cute and flirty. The low cut front, back and armholes were a nice contrast to the full skirt. I wish I could have cut out the hanger loops, because they were popping out all night. This is definitely a braless dress, which was fine for me. However, be prepared to have some suggestive "sideboob". I didn't expect that when renting, but it was okay. It wasn't revealing enough to keep me from wearing it. I was comfortable. The color is beautiful and the subtle sparkle adds really interesting dimension and looked really pretty in the light when it got dark out.

Loved the poofy skirt and pockets! The straps are too long for the dress. I'm large busted and they were still too long. They needed to be taken up like an inch. I still made it work. I just had to keep my shoulders back. The color is beautiful and it's so girly. I absolutely loved it!

Wore this to a spring wedding. I was skeptical when I first tried it on as the skirt is do full that it could hide a baby bump! But once all dressed up with hair and earrings, it was very chic. It does have the problems everyone reports (rtr PLEASE cut the hanger straps off this thing!!! They were sticking out all night!!) but with some fashion tape everything worked out. I could see how the straps could be more of a problem on a shorter frame (I'm 5' 10"). All in all, loved it.

This dress only works if you have a full bust and a tiny waist. The waist was a little bit snug at first, but through the night it was fine. the shoulder straps were my only problem because they were just the slightest bit too long. overall it was a perfect prom dress!

The middle of the dress was slightly tight, but the top was a little large since I didn't fill it out enough. The dress is low cut on the sides, front, and back, which made it sassy but girly at the same time. Loved it!

From the reviews, I opted for a size 4 instead of a 2. I am glad I did! The middle band hits in an awkward spot above your natural waist so it would have been a tight fit. Straight-on the higher waistband makes your torso look very short. The straps/bust are another story... I tried wearing gel petals, and even stuck on bathing suit pads on the dress to try and fill out the bust a little more so my boobs wouldn't be visible with every movement. The cut is extremely low (which I liked), but the straps are way too big. No amount of double-side tape can hold these up. I was shrugging my shoulders up the entire event to prevent flashing the world. Looking back, I would have gotten a solid-colored sticky bra and used double-side tape to tape the bra to the dress. Other than that, it was a very comfortable dress and had huge pockets too! I would recommend using the free second size with this one!

I wore this dress for a Spring wedding and absolutely loved it. The dress fit true to size; however, the bust was slightly large. I used fabric tape for the bust to avoid any wardrobe malfunctions. The length was very appropriate for the occasion. I am 5'9 1/2", so the length may be a bit long for a petite frame. Also, the fabric has a shimmer to it, which is not as noticeable on the model. I'm giving the dress four stars because of the oversized bust; otherwise, I would highly recommend this dress!

I was very please with my first Rent the Runway dress. I typically wear a size 2/4 and that is what I rented. I ended up going with the size 2 and it fit just right. The dress was a bit tight right under the boobs, especially when I sat, but after wearing for a bit it started to loosen up. The dresses "skirt" part was poofyer than in the picture on the model. The hanger strings are in a random spot and they popped out here and there so that was probably my biggest complaint about the dress, I just wanted to cut them off. I loved the pockets, the cut of the dress, and it was very comfortable to wear and dance it. I received compliments all night and would definitely recommend to anyone.

I rented this dress for a fundraiser gala and it was definitely an attention grabber. Plunging neckline, plunging back and a deep V under each arm gave it a sophisticated, slightly risqué flare to a classic style. The skirt is very full but it is comfortable without being overwhelming. The deep pockets were a surprise detail that I absolutely loved. The color is a bit more pink rose than blush in person. I received tons of compliments all night from friends and strangers alike. People were gushing over the color and the cut!! This is an ideal dress for a cocktail party, spring/summer wedding and for special events such as the Kentucky Derby. **FIT NOTES**: this dress runs true to size with a few minor exceptions. The top half runs a little large if you're like me and have a B/C cup size. The back is a bit loose so I would recommend fashion tape to secure. I had to pull up the straps often when dancing but it was a minor detail that didn't really bother me.

Pros: Comfortable, for the most part, very flattering, sexy while still being fairly conservative, wedding appropriate. Cons: The straps did keep falling down like everyone mentioned in their review so I was expecting that. It was quit snug right under the boobs and the next size up was too big so I just had a hard time w/ deep breathing. Note: I have a large chest so the girls were definitely up and out for this dress, but I was able to ensure that they would stay put by using lots of double sided tape!

I really wanted to like this cupcake-like dress for my bridal shower but I just couldn't make it work. The top looked big and was too revealing on the sides and the skirt just overwhelmed me. It would probably look wonderful on a girl who is tiny up top and fuller hipped.

This was my least favorite RTR dress to date. I rented this for a Valentines Day date with my husband. I'm usually between a 2 and a 4 with RTR and the 2 was the only size available, so I went for it! The fabric is beautiful, and I love the back, but the top was very strange. The dress fit perfectly in the waist but the top was large. I'm a large 34 C and with the size 2 it was still big on me. I'm not sure who they are expecting to wear the dress. I ended up wearing fashion tape and a cardigan. You can't tell how badly it gaps at the side from these pictures but trust me, if you are skeptical in and way, stay away from this dress.

Even more beautiful in person, HOWEVER, this dress definitely requires a certain amount of "bust" to fill it out properly and to ensure the straps stay in place. I'm a B and there was no way I could wear this dress without the top part falling to the sides. So I wasn't able to wear it.

I took a chance on this dress and was wary due to the mixed reviews. Luckly it was absolutely fantastic! I think the other reviews are fairly accurate - The dress has no stretch and is very tight around the ribcage and is made for someone who has a respectively large bust. My measurements are 34/26/36 and while my chest fit into the dress, it was a secure fit. I was looking forward to the straps being long, as other reviewers mentioned, because I have a long torso. While the straps fit, I did not find them "long" persay, and they actually pulled down on my shoulders so that by the end of the night it was less than comfortable. All in all, I loved the dress! The low back and sides are a lovely touch and the fabric was decent. Oh and the pockets are adorable! I recieved plenty of complements and my boyfriend loved the dress as well. I'm very glad i took the chance on it!

This dress fit great. I wore it to an outdoor wedding and it was perfect for the occasion. It was a little big on top, and you can't wear a bra with this dress. I wore "chicken cutlets" as my bra and it helped make the top fit better. This dress is perfectly feminine. This was my second experience with Rent the Runway, and they haven't disappointed me yet.

Can be snug around the rib cage if you need to go with the smaller of 2 sizes because of the top.
