This dress grazes the body beautifully, not too snug & not too loose. The asymmetrical caped shoulder is lovely and unique. I felt regal. It was a huge hit, and so much fun to wear!

The dress was amazing! I got so many compliments on the dress. I felt very elegant and classy in it. I ended up having to hem the length of the dress with Hollywood hem tape since I was wearing flats with the dress. This dress was perfect for a lovely DC wedding!

The 0R was too tight, but the 2R fit me perfectly. The cape is definitely long, so you'll need to wear a good pair of heels to manage it. Gorgeous overall, colour is amazing.

One of my favorite feature was the cape, jokingly said, "Saving one wedding guest at a time!" Only one little con, was the hanger straps kept slipping out, wondering if there was a way to keep them in place.

This dramatic Jill Stuart gown was the perfect dress to wear to a black tie gala. I loved the glamorous one shoulder cape and vivid color. Received many compliments all night.

The cape was little torn where it attached to the dress in the front, but it was barely noticeable. I normally wear a 4R, but a 4L was the only size available and the length was perfect with me being 5'5" with 4" heels. The dress has NO stretch so if you aren't sure about a size you may want to think of sizing up. All in all, I LOVED the gown. I felt amazing in it and received so many compliments!

This dress is smashing! I rented it for a black tie gala, and ordered a size 2 and 4 thinking the 2 might be too small. But it fits absolutely perfectly. It is stunning. This is draw dropping and made me feel like I was wearing a classic Halston. I can't wait to wear it to the gala tomorrow. I will have to wear nipple covers, though.

Loved this dress!! The color and fit were great!! It was a hit at my event. I was slightly surprised the 0R did not fit, but because of my bust size it made sense. So if you're bust is bigger than a C cup, go up one size.

This is me wearing the size 4R! A little unforgiving in the waist area, so I changed into the 6R (i ordered as free backup) for the reception, it was much better!

This dress drew endless compliments! I didn't want the night to end!! It's definitely true to size and form fitting. I recommend spanx simply to smooth any curves as the fabric does cling! Tall girls get the "Long"- it's worth it. Dancing was no issue - the cape actually never got in the way! It was a comfortable and flattering dress that I would wear again if I could!

I wore this dress to a formal wedding in Miami and received tons of compliments. The color is a subdued hot pink that does not cross the line to being tacky. I am 5'8 and more the dress with 2.5" heels and thank goodness it still touched the ground (which is a problem for we taller girls). I was able to dance comfortably all night. I have a small bust and the structure of the dress was strong enough not to have me pulling it up all night long. This dress is not forgiving in the midsection so if you have a little pooch, beware. It also was oddly tighter in the hips than I expected given the cut of the dress so if you are pear shaped, you will likely need to size up. I would recommend this dress to others =)

Stood out in a sea of holiday red gowns with this hot pink, one shouldered number. Incredibly flattering dress but it did require assistance to put on as others mentioned in their reviews. Paired the clean lines of the dress with a J. Crew cluster necklace as a statement piece. Great look, very chic.

Loved the bright color for the Indian wedding I was attending. I usually wear size 6 for dresses that are fitted in the hips but for this one, I didn't even need to try on the 6. My only (small) negatives on this dress were the way it sometimes would pull given the uneven shoulders (see my picture), and that people stepped on the back of the dress a few times since the cape part will flare out a little when you are walking. I would definitely rent again though - I've never seen a dress quite like this one.

You'll need someone to help you get it zipped since the zipper is under the arm. I loved the color, the fit, cape, and length. I wore spanx and am already a fairly small person, the fabric isn't very forgiving and doesn't hide much. Overall, it was perfect for a black tie gala for work and I received many compliments throughout the night!

I rented this dress in a 4R and got the 6R as a back up since most reviews said it ran small. Not in my case- the 6 was too big and the 4 fit perfectly. Wore this dress to my boss's wedding (which was black tie), and it was a very elegant dress. I got it from the RTR store in NY, and unfortunately I was very rushed and got it last minute. I wish I would have had more time to prepare so I could have worn my hair in a pretty up-do and picked out accessories with more thought. I'm 5'9" and wore flats with the dress, but it would have still been long enough with heels. It was very tight around my bust so I wasn't able to wear a bra (I'm 34DD), but I wore some pasties with it that I bought from RTR that day. Overall, flattering, elegant dress with a bright color. I wish I had a better picture of it, but this was the only one we got. Would recommend to taller women with a medium-sized bust.

This gown is very unique in the shoulder detailing. The fabric is slightly heavy as there is extra fabric that drapes in the bag. This gown is a great option for a black tie or formal event.

This gown was the PERFECT style for our friends traditional Indian wedding ceremony. I received tons of compliments while wearing it! The reason I gave the dress 4 stars is because it was a little too long on me. (I'm 5ft 2 and they only offer a regular or long length). People kept stepping on the cape and pulling me backwards. Also the midsection of the dress was NOT forgiving. I would recommend wearing spannx if you rent this gown.

I loved this dress- received tons of compliments on the cape and color! I had a few issues with it though: It arrived with two tears in it (one on the shoulder where the cape meets the gown and one at the bottom from others stepping on it) and the cape was heavy and long making it difficult to dance. Size wise I am usually in between a 6 and an 8 but the 8 was way too big on me. The 6L was perfect with my 4 inch heels. Overall it's a beautiful dress but RTR needs to pay more attention to the condition of the dress before shipping it out.

So here's the scoop. The dress fit like a glove. If you have hips and a slight stomach don't rent this dress as the fabric has no give. Runs very long. I rented the 6r on my 5'5" frame and it still was very long wearing a 3.5" heel. The color is beautiful!

Great fit. The one shoulder cape gives it elegance and a unique flair. Be careful of how you pose in photos though, due to the awkwardly large armhole under the arm of the cape. Got compliments the entire night since the dress is so simple, yet unique as well. It was a show-stopper at the ball! Still trying to purchase this dress from the designer, since I fell so in love with it after renting it for the occasion.
