I wore this to a Charity Gala in June. It has a great summer feel look and feel. The dress is simple, but looks very elegant paired with the right jewelry. Got many compliments. The fit was very true to a standard size 4. The length was appropriate for a 5' 5" person with 3 inch heals. The dress is pretty low cut so be prepared to get a special bra such as a clear backless bra. I did need to steam the dress as it was quite wrinkled even after letting it hang overnight but it looked great once I did that. The belt also needed to be laid out flat for 24 hours to get the kink s outs out of it before it fit well. Overall, I was thrilled with the way it looked and fit!

Normally I am a 4 across the board, but the 2R fit perfectly. Except for the belt. I wore the size 4 belt, so I would definitely ordering your normal size and one smaller. The chest area is a little loose, however, and I think it would work better for someone with a taller torso. I could not wear a bra because the back was open and the neckline was too low, but it worked OK. I am 5'4" and the regular length was perfect with 3.5 inch heels. Color is a beautiful light slate/robins-egg blue.

There was a big mix up with my RTR order and the dress I originally ordered didn't arrive so they overnighted me this one. It fit me beautifully and I felt extremely elegant. The front might be a little loose as it was with me so I'd recommend just using fashion tape to keep it up in the right places. I wore 6in heels with it and it worked out very well.

I ordered this dress and another for my prom and it was overall very positive. I had ordered a 4R and received a 4L so the dress was too long for me to wear (I'm 5'6 wearing 4 inch heels). The chest area was a little large, but besides that I loved the fit

I was pleasantly surprised by this simple yet elegant style! I wore the 4R and it fit great, but I would recommend going up a size if you are bigger in the bust and hips since the top is very fitted and has no stretch. The back is beautiful and open in a criss-crossed detail, so you would either have to wear a backless bra, pasties, or no bra. I recommend A-C cups would feel most comfortable in this style. The regular length almost hit the floor on me with no heels on, so I would recommend anyone over 5'7 who plans on wearing heels to order a long for this style. I like the black belt with this because it is a contrasted detail that makes the dress stand out. Overall very comfortable, and I loved the shape that the fitted waist and belt gave me!

Grab your own black belt to wear with this one to tie it together and make it work. Some photos show one, but it does not come with the dress.

Loved this dress online. Didn't feel as great about it when I put it on. Top was pretty large, even in the 2R. Hip area was tighter than I would have liked (I have wider hips); probably works better for girls who are straight & narrow. I sized down to the 2R because the top of the 4R was just ridiculously big. I used the 4R belt to allow for more room at the rib cage. Length was good for me; wore my highest heels. I definitely knew this dress was a risk when ordering in terms of fitting well. I still wore it to the event and felt glamorous or at least semi confident (at least when I could forget about the hip area being tighter than I'd like).

The color of this dress is just as pictured on the model - beautiful! The belt and the back detail really makes the grown pop! Overall I got a ton of compliments and felt beautiful. One con is the dress definitely runs large. My usual size is a 2 but I wore a 0 and it fit well. However the belt gets a bit tight; I wore the belt front the size 2 dress and it still felt snug at the end of the night. The top is not meant for smaller chests - I am a 32C and it gaped a bit on top. Also keep in mind you can't wear a bra (I wore sticky flowers and that worked fine for me). The length was perfect for me with 4 inch heels (I'm 5'2"), it just brushed against the ground and wasn't dragging at all.

While the waist fits true to size, the bust area was very baggy, especially as it needs to be worn without a bra. I ordered a 0 (I'm usually a 0 or 2) and am normally a 32C/34B. I would be careful if you are not well-endowed in the front or have a shorter torso. Additionally, it was a little long, although I'm used to that at 5'4", and had to wear it with 6 inch heels. I wanted to find a different belt to wear but didn't have time, so went belt-less. All in all, a pretty dress with a beautiful back, but not for the petite.

The dress is a beautiful color, but the overall shape and style look far more elegant on the model.

I was very sad this dress didn't work out (I ended up returning it). The bust was just way too large (I'm a 32B). It gaped and puckered too much to be wearable. If you have a slightly larger chest, I think it would be beautiful! Color and fabric were gorgeous.

not sure if sizing down would've helped because I tried my usual size, a 4 and it was very large in the chest area and it's not possible to wear a bra. the color and style was beautiful, but the top definitely gaped quite a bit. i needed a 12cm (4.72 inch) heel so the dress would be just off the floor. i would rent this dress again, but get it in a 2.

The dress had an odd fit. It was fitted true to size in the body but HUGE in the chest. It seemed to be intended for a tall, thin, LARGE chested person. I didn't even begin to fill out the chest. The black belt definitely makes the dress pop because otherwise its pretty plain. A lovely dress but I just did not have the body for it.

I probably should have realized that this dress would not work for me from the online pictures but I loved the color and belt detail so I ordered it anyway. It arrived without the belt but it didn't make a difference because the dress itself was so unflattering on my hourglass shaped body. Maybe I could have made it work with some serious undergarments, but I think this dress is probably best for someone with an athletic build. It seemed well made and the color and back were very pretty!

This dress was a last minute change for me since the original dress I had ordered was delayed due to weather. I am small but curvy and the 2R fit me perfectly. The length was great with 3.5 inch heels and it was such a beautiful dress on the dance floor! I also wore the 4R belt over the 2R belt since I found it more comfortable. This dress is really classic and understated so feel free to let the dress speak for itself or doll it up with fun accessories. I also woe the RTR silicone petals and they provided perfect coverage all night long! Rent this dress, you will feel like a princess!

It was loose in the neckline but i loved it

I loved everything about this dress when I tried it on in the storefront. I'd tried on a 4R in the store, and it was too big. I consulted with the stylist and felt really confident that I'd have the correct size when I ordered the 2R/2L. When the dress arrived, I couldn't get the belt around my waist and the darts on the bust were very odd. The skirt fit well-enough, but the overall effect without the belt and with the way the bust dimpled did not work. Unfortunately, the dress had also been damaged (e.g. the hook and eye on the belt were broken and there was a ripped seam on the length that fit me). All in all, the dress is beautiful -- loved the color, drape, and concept. I had thought it would work well, because I have a long torso and was exactly the look I was going for. Unfortunately, it missed the mark for me.

It fit fine but it looked like a bridesmaids dress. The material felt and looked very bridemaids-y, I would not recommend it/ The cut was nice and the back was very cool, but I couldn't get past the material and pale blue color.

My chest was not at the same height that the dress excess chest material was.
