Dress was perfect for the event. . Many compliments during the night. So happy with the rental. As mentioned in previous post did fit snug around bra line. Had to change how the straps were wrapped but still a great fit.

This dress is fabulous! I received so many compliments. I normally wear size 0 or 2 and the 2 was perfect. I'm 5'4 and wore 3.5 inch heels and the regular length was perfect. I would caution that if you have a broad rib cage, this will fit snug. If it's pretty broad, this may not be the dress for you because it fits like a glove. I would highly recommend renting this dress!

The dress fit very well in length and the bust area. It was a little large in the waist for my tiny frame. Classy, sophisticated, yet modern. Average length for a 0R dress.

The model on RTR wore the straps differently than the Jill Stuart model. I chose the latter style with crisscross straps over the back. I am a 32 C and the front drop really complimented that size... It was quite cleavagey but I didn't wear a bra so there wasn't too much... well... bounce ( which I didn't want for this event!). It was quite sexy but still elegant. And definitely not too dressy. I got away with it at a black tie event, but it could be worn to a dinner or less formal outings. The only reason why this dress lost a star is bc the stomach was slightly boxy.

I think on the RTR model this dress looks modern and sophisticated, but on larger chests (I'm a 32DD) the low neckline is a little more revealing. Still looked good, but different look from the model. Definitely go up a size if you have a larger chest- the waist is a little looser but the chest has no give. Also, GET THE LONG if you're over 5'7". I'm 5'10" and even the long seemed a little short on me.

This dress is true to size and I'm 4'11" and I rented the 4 regular. 4 inch heels were also perfect for this and although the straps needed adjustment, this dress was flattering overall. The material was thick enough to hold and hide my belly and I received compliments all night. This was a backup dress and I was glad I got it.

Fit true to size. I have a smaller chest and I felt like chest was a little large however very large busted women may have trouble with the small cups. This was a back a dress that the Chicago store helped me find!

I absolutely loved this dress. The straps were the only part I would say ran a little tight so beware if you're well-endowed. I am a 34B and could've fit a bra, but chose not to because I didn't have any that wouldn't show. The material was thick enough that I didn't worry about looking unpolished. I didn't even have to use any tape and didn't feel worried about slipping out ever. The torso was a little large on me, but nothing so dramatic as to ruin the lines of the dress. If anything, it just meant I could actually eat my dinner. I was scared the white stripe around the hips would be too tight or unflattering but that was definitely not the case, it rested perfectly without cutting into me. I am almost 5' 8" and wore 4in heels and the dress was about an inch above the ground so people weren't stepping on it and I wasn't tripping. Overall amazing dress!

Great fabric. Very flattering, not clingy. Almost like a scuba fabric but not thick and has a little more movement. Lightweight. Didn't wear a bra. 4-5 inch heels. Wore for a black tie event- fight night.

I usually wear a 0 so was glad I ordered it. The 2 was just too big. I went to a Gatsby themed NYE event and this was the perfect nod to the Art Deco era. The front was sexy without being revealing. The strappy back added to the elegant sexiness. The dress was very comfortable and so easy to move around in. I would love to own this one! Being 5'9.5" I ordered the tall and was glad I did. I had strangers complimenting me all night. The perfect dress for the perfect night!

as a small-chested athletic lady, I was a bit nervous at the fit in the top (didn't want any kind of wardrobe malfunction) but everything stayed in place beautifully without the aid of fashion tape. The material is of a nice weight and feels fantastic as it moves with the body....not too clingy, not too loose....beautiful construction! I felt so elegant in this dress, I didn't want to return it!

I was unsure about this dress, but it was wonderful! I usually wear a 2 to 4 and went with the 2L since I'm 5'8". The length was perfect with heels. The dress pulled me in and was comfortable to wear and walk in. I used cup liners but no bra and everything was secure!

I got the 2L because the 0L wasn't available. The 2L fit well enough to wear it, but the OL would have been better. I wore to a black tie event with professional colleagues - I felt comfortable with the low cut because I have a small chest. Allowed me to feel sexy but still classy and appropriate for the people I was around considering the many work-related relationships. A simple gown that says "classically chic."

This dress was sent to me as a backup dress when my original dress was not available in my size. When I saw this dress online I was not wild about it. It was pretty, but seemed a bit too revealing for me. I ended up absolutely loving it!!!! I was grateful that my dress was not available. My original dress was a bit heavier material. This dress was perfect for the event. I did not have to wear a bra, the straps held everything in place. The length was perfect with 3.5 inch heels, as I am only 5'2.

The fit of this dress made me look so curvy, which I loved! The material is stretchy and very comfortable, and holds you in in all the right places. It is very fitted throughout the whole dress, so if you were self conscious about your mdi-section I might not recommend this. I wore a regular length which just hit the floor, but if I were to rent this I would definitely go with the long so I can wear heels. Since a nu-bra or no bra will be necessary, I think this style would be best for smaller busts. The sleek white lines on this black style makes it very classy and sophisticated, and it can be dressed up or down!

Pros: The fit is super flattering. I am short, so the dress was the perfect length. The material sucked me right in. The dress was even better than I thought it would be when I ordered it online. Cons: The white ribbing isn't the best touch. This has also definitely been rented many times before, so the white lining at the top looks a little dirty in person, but I was able to clean it before wearing.

This dress was comfortable and classy all night. I am 5'7" (right between length choices) and was happy with the Long option. With heels, the regular would have been too short by a lot. There was no need for a bra, as the top fit well and the back is strappy and low. I definitely recommend fashion tape to hold the top close to your skin; otherwise you will be obligated to hold you posture so you don't flash anyone. The heavier fabric was smoothing over my curves and there is an slight elegant trumpet of the skirt at the knees- nice silhouette! Easy to dance and walk in. Minus one star for the top being flash-y without fashion tape. Also, the straps make difficult to figure out how to put on the dress.

Really sleek and one of a kind gown. I felt so elegant when I tried it on. Most people wear the straps wrong, so I recommend you look at how the model is wearing it. I really loved the dress, but a size 4 was a little to loose in the midsection and butt. The top fit my chest perfectly, put the straps were a little long. I have the unlimited plan so I just sent it back and ordered a 2 (I am in between sizes so this is not unexpected). I recommend this dress fully, just make sure to order a size smaller as a back up size if you want to show off your waist.

I am 5'9''. I wore flat sandals and the dress just skimmed the floor. Material had enough stretch to be comfortable but luxurious enough for a black tie affair. Very classy dress.

This dress was beautiful and was flattering. I had to tape a piece of lace in the front because it showed way too much cleavage. Overall the fit was good and I wore heels so it didn't touch the ground.

Fit pretty true to size. The length was great on my petite frame with 4 inch heels. I didn't love the overall look of the fabric and the style isn't too out of the box. It was just OK on me.

The dress fit created an odd illustion. The white stripe on the hips is not flattering. If you are on the busty side like I am, then the top will not fit you! If flatter chested and smaller hips, this dress would work great. Otherwise I don't think it's the most flattering (at least one me it wasn't).. I ended up wearing my back-up dress.

This is a gorgeous, elegant dress. I thought it was going to be somewhat like a sun dress and good for an afternoon boat ride, but it was much too fancy for that. I ended up wearing it to a fancy dinner instead. The material is heavy and thick. The cut is absolutely fabulous.

Order the size you absolutely always are then a size UP. I was afraid it was going to be too big at a size 4 and it was too snug, a 6 would of been better, but still beautiful! Will order my dress for the next ball here! Was a tad short as well.. I am average height, would get the long next time!

This is the perfect dress for women who want to accentuate their waist. The tall length is perfect for tall people. My husband loved it.

This dress was very form fitting and flattering and the ribbing made it feel extra supportive. I have a small chest so it was fine that I didn't wear a bra but this might not work for someone with more ample goods :).

I am 5'8 without heels, 36C, athletic but proportioned build and this dress was very comfortable but short. I had to wear flat dress sandals instead of the heels I had planned on. I ordered the 6L and 8L and ended up going with the 8L because there is not much give in the straps on top. Did not wear a bra and because the material is thicker it was definitely comfortable, but you could wear pasties if you really wanted. The piping hit in a great spot and was very flattering. Hides muffin tops but may need spanx if you have a little more in the stomach area. Material is heavy but has some stretch to it and I was not hot at a summer wedding. Got compliments all night about how beautiful the dress was! It just flows! Would rent again if I was shorter.

I felt HOT in this dress. You can't wear a bra so I taped up my boobs Kim K style. If you are super busty this may not be a good dress for you since you can't really have any visible support!
